  Our first tour was cancelled at the last minute due to lack of numbers and were lucky to have one extra morning to do the tour! Tour was better than expected.

  Our recent visit to the Singapore Zoo's "Breakfast with Wildlife" was an amazing experience, albeit one that felt a little too tightly orchestrated. The Transfer: The bus transfer from our hotel to the zoo was efficient and comfortable. No complaints. It was a smooth start to the morning. The Breakfast: The breakfast itself was a basic buffet. Think standard hotel fare – eggs, sausages, toast, fruit, and local food options. The focus, of course, wasn't the food, but the company. The Animal Encounter: This is where the experience truly shone. Having orangutans, reptiles, and other fascinating creatures as you ate was genuinely magical. The photo opportunities were incredible, and the keepers were knowledgeable and engaging. Seeing these animals up close was a unique and memorable experience. This aspect alone makes the breakfast worth it. However, the experience felt overly controlled. We were constantly being moved from one activity to the next. We were ushered from breakfast to a specific animal encounter, then to a show, and finally, to what felt like a pre-determined experience. While each individual element was enjoyable, the lack of freedom to explore was frustrating. Instead of being given a designated meeting points and times, allowing us to explore the zoo at our own pace, we were ushered around. This is not something our family enjoys. This felt like a missed opportunity to truly immerse ourselves in the zoo's atmosphere. The Verdict: The "Breakfast with Wildlife" at Singapore Zoo is a fantastic way to get up close and personal with some incredible animals. The animal encounters are truly special. Doing this again, we would confirm with the guid where and when to meet for the return to our hotel and go our own way. Recommendation: If you're willing to sacrifice a bit of personal freedom for the convenience of the being picked up and being guided around, the "Breakfast with Wildlife" is worth considering.

  Hotel pickup was a little confusing but once we met up with Mohan our guide it was a great day. We chose to find our own way home as there was a lot more to see at the Zoo. Overall well worth the trip.

• Orang Utans are great

  We enjoyed being up close with the Orang Utans. However, the four hour experience consisted of more than two hours waiting for and sitting on buses. If I go back to the zoo, I'll make my own way there and spend more time with the animals.

  If you’re short on time and want to see the zoo as efficiently as possible, maximizing the seeing of animals, I highly recommend. Our guide is a seasoned tour guide of 20 years knew the zoo in and out and all the interesting facts about the animals. We got to see so many different animals and take pictures with them. This is a great use of short time.
