There are 146 steps up from the foot of Marble Mountain to the first stop (Xa Loi Tower) and then 136 steps up to the second stop (the cave system) You can use the elevator for the first 146 steps (at your own expense)

5.00We were picked up for our tour at our hotel. Away we went to monkey mountain where we saw the lady Buddha. The place is beautiful with all the manicured bonsai. Next we stopped at a shop where they carve sculptures from the marble. Our tour then continued to hell cave where there are stairs, but not a ton. It is worth the stairs to see the cave. Onward to the heaven cave. 200 stairs..... Thankfully, there is an elevator (that allows you to only climb 1/2) so those of us with physical ailments, like bad knees, don't have to forgo the wonders that await inside the cave. Our guide, Tom, helped tremendously with assisting to steady those of us who struggled with getting up and down the ancient stone stairs in the humidity. Very worth the efforts to see the cave.

5.00LOC is very handsome. The most handsome. Just kidding. We loved Loc (Aka Josh), he was so kind and accommodating, also very knowledgeable. The tour was straight forward and very organized. I went on this tour with my wife and 2 year old toddler. A but challenging on the climb but an option was always given to partake or wait. We did the whole thing! Thanks for a fun time!

5.00Loc (Josh) was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable and led us through the history of the site which I appreciated. The tour was great and the van was very comfortable with the AC and excellent driver. He gave us two options of difficulty for the marble mountain and was very encouraging and kind.
