What To Expect
Our adventure begins with a hotel pickup at 7:30 AM, where you will meet your guide for a quick safety briefing and be fitted with your bike and helmet. Begin your morning adventure cycling along bumpy dirt roads that quickly lead you into the peaceful Siem Reap countryside. Ride through scenic rice paddies, quiet village paths, and lush green fields. Our first stop takes you to a local vegetable farm, where you’ll see how fresh produce is grown using traditional methods. We then continue to a small workshop to observe the rice milling process, a fascinating part of rural Cambodian life. The ride continues to a lively local market, filled with colorful fruits, spices, and friendly vendors. From here, we pedal deeper into the village to witness an authentic Cambodian noodle making process, a unique highlight of the tour. Next, we cycle toward Krolan village, famous for its traditional handcrafted baskets. Here, you will learn how local artisans weave beautiful bamboo baskets by hand. After enjoying these wonderful cultural experiences and peaceful countryside views, we cycle back, completing a memorable morning full of discovery and local charm.

5.00Great morning, getting out of SR and seeing daily life in the surrounding villages. My guide Bota was great, full of knowledge, highly recommended. My only suggestion is to request a better saddle for the bike or wear some padded bike shorts. Otherwise we had a great morning visiting markets, a monastery and seeing everyday life of Cambodia.

5.00We had an amazing bike tour on the half day countryside bike tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. The countryside was beautiful and visiting the vegetable, mushroom and lotus farms were really good. The bikes were excellent quality and felt very safe. I loved getting out of the city and seeing the beautiful countryside!

5.00Absolutely loved riding through the countryside with our guide from Asia backgrounds travel! We went from the busy city to calm rice fields on our bikes. We rode on quiet backroads, met nice locals, and saw lively markets and farms. It's a short but cool adventure away from the usual stuff. Definitely recommend trying it!

5.00We just finished our countrysidebike tour with Asia Backroads Travel. From the pick-up to the finish were very well looked after and we enjoyed every minute. We cycled past local villages and through the countryside. We also had a chance to learn about the history and daily life of the local people. The bikes were great and they also provided snacks during the tour which was an added bonus .
