I had a wonderful experience on the Mornington Peninsula coastal hiking tour, and it turned out to be one of the most underrated highlights of my trip. The views along the coast were absolutely stunning, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore beyond the usual attractions. The hike itself is very beginner-friendly. I don’t exercise much in my daily life, but I was still able to complete all the walks comfortably. The pacing was well planned, with sufficient time given at each stop to explore and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. For those who may feel tired, there are always rest options available along the way, so you can sit out certain parts if needed. That said, everyone in my group managed to complete the full hike. The tour started on a great note with complimentary coffee before departure, which was a really thoughtful touch. Throughout the journey, the great music playlist also made the bus rides between stops even more enjoyable and relaxing. A big part of the positive experience was our guide and driver, Nat. He was punctual, energetic, and cheerful throughout the day, which kept the group engaged. He was also very knowledgeable, sharing interesting information and helpful tips at each location. I appreciated how he ensured we had enough time to rest on the bus between stops, making the overall pace very comfortable. The small group size made the experience more personal and attentive, and it was nice that Nat even joined us for some of the hikes. Overall, everything was well-organised, enjoyable, and thoughtfully planned. Definitely a tour worth considering if you’re visiting the area!

A wonderful eight hour trip from Melbourne with our excellent well informed guide and driver Theresa. Great communication with Local Tours and a well thought out itinerary including enough free time to explore places at your own pace. For me the Quarantine Station and Point Nepean National Park was of special interest . I can highly recommend both this trip and Local Tours.

Love the tour. We get to see the scenic road all the way to Mornington Peninsula. No rush yet very disciplined and punctual. We visited several spots and given enough time to explore on our own and take pictures. Mike and Rod are very great. Rod even gives us extra tour to Sorrento beach and shuttle bus round trip to the Gunnery. The tourguides explain and tell stories about the culture, history, and the beauty of Australia.

The experience is great! But you do it alone. No guide actually accompanying you, he drives and drops you off at the main places. It is a good alternative to enjoy solo: walks, magnificent views, I recommend.

Shelton was our guide and i have to give it to him for his superb knowledge about Australia! We picked up interesting facts from him which made the tour much more interactive. In addition, Shelton is a dedicated guide who will walk us to the various lookout points for the best views of the port Philip bay and the bass strait, instead of dropping us off and leaving us to explore on our own. This is something which we appreciated as a tourist who is not familiar with the surroundings!

Great small group tour with extremely knowledgeable and engaging tour guide, Mike. Learned a LOT about the history of the area, while enjoying some spectacular views along the coast, and short strolls to the key sites. There are many tours available through these operators and I wouldn’t hesitate to book another next time I’m down this way. I would recommend you call and talk with the team before choosing which tour, they will make sure you pick one that suits you!
