Today you will discover the city of Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco; vibrant, noisy, fascinating and overwhelming – a visual and pungent feast for the senses. Head into the old city, known locally as Fes el Bali, arguably the world's most fascinating and confounding old city. Medieval Fes was one of the world's great centres of education and culture, both Islamic and Jewish. Its religious institutions and libraries are legendary, its mosques of great renown. Walk through the twisting streets and alleyways, passing donkeys piled high with goods, and explore the specialty sections that divide the souk. Filled with historic khans, medresses and dye-pits, stalls loaded with fruits, herbs and soups, and where the squawk of chickens, smell of spice and sound of hammering of copper fills the air, it’s not hard to imagine yourself back in the Middle Ages. Spend the day exploring the old city, visiting, Medresse el Attarine, the tanneries and the splendid Fondouk Nejjarine, a beautifully restored 18th century inn. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon and perhaps spend the evening relaxing in this calming oasis, away from the buzz of the medina.

After researching website we decided to contact Tilila Travel to get some information about private tour in Marocco. Since day one we had a very good response from the agency. Any question we’d have was answered right away. Dear Mohamed thank you very much for organizing this amazing trip for us! We were able to see really beautiful places thanks to your itinerary. Our driver Mohamed was the best driver and great companion. Please thank him as well. I will be recommending your company to all my friends who will like to visit Marocco.

What an amazing experience. My husband and I were looking to visit Morocco and were not keen on a self-drive (which I still do not recommend) and also did not want to join in a group. We did have the option of taking a private tour with a South African operator but decided on Tilila Travel. It turned out to be the best choice. They helped us with the planning of the route (Marrakech, Merzouga, Fez, Rabat, Casablanca), suggested sites and activities, arranged all the local guides, accommodation etc, and even arranged for a Moroccan sim card (which worked better than the E-sim in rural areas). Always very quick to respond to our request and help with the visa applications. Our personal guide Tawfiq met us at the airport, and was on call through out the trip, for pickups and transfers, meeting with guides, suggesting restaurants, finding banks, warning us of scams – you name it. We were so pampered. But even better, from the start we told Tawfiq that we wanted to have an authentic experience, and that is what he gave us: - a meal with a Berber farmer and his family; cooking classes in a Marrakech home; a picnic Moroccan style among the Rabat locals, and so many tales and insights. He went beyond the itinerary so that we could experience the true Moroccan culture, away from the more touristic spots. Tawfiq treated us like royalty, and we felt safe in his charge . We will definitely use Tilila again.

Mohamed from Tilila was incredibly helpful and responsive from the moment I started researching tour options. He worked closely with us to customize our itinerary and stayed in touch throughout the trip to make sure everything ran smoothly. We were a group of 7 traveling from different countries, and everything was perfectly coordinated. Our driver, Yassin—the GOAT!—was amazing. He made sure all our needs were met and went above and beyond when my son got sick, quickly arranging help through local guides. The local guides we met were professional, friendly, and took great care of us. We felt safe, supported, and well looked after the entire time. If you’re planning a trip to Morocco, I highly recommend Tilila for a personalized, stress-free, and memorable experience.

I am so glad to have booked with Tilila Travel. Hands down, one of the best companies I have booked with. The owner Mr. Mouhamad works in a professional manner. Before booking with him, i asked him a lot of questions and he responded very quickly and answered each one of them in details. We were blessed to have an amazing driver as well, Mr. Tawfiq. What a kind, respectful and generous person. He was very polite since the beginning. We booked this tour for 12 days but we really did not feel the time pass because of Tawfiq. He always had a smile on his face and was always willing to help. We had several changes from the plan that I had originally booked with them. But both Mr. Mouhamad and Tawfiq had no problem with anything even if this meant driving more distances. I cannot recommend Tilila Travel enough to anyone travelling to Morocco. You will ensure you will have the best time ever if you book with them. Thank you for a memorable journey!!

We found Tilila travel on the web and on contacting them, proprieter, Mohamed was very prompt in making suggestions for our travel. His help in forming / adjusting the tour plan based on our requirements was outstanding. Morocco is a beautiful country with very friendly people and my wife and I and our friends from USA were most impressed with the sights and arrangements made by Mohamed. We were met at Casablanca airport by the charming and helpful driver Tawfiq who stayed with us for the duration of the trip of 12 days till our departure from Casablanca. He was out go to person for all our needs and was most helpful in solving everyday matters. All hotels in Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou, Essaouira, and Casablanca were comfortable and effecient with exception of the historical hotel in Fes (Riad El Yacout) but the problems were solved by Mohamed and Tawfiq quickly. The guides provided at different locations were very knowledgeable. The food was a new experience for all of us especially the cooking in Tagine.

This is the second time in Morocco that this trip has exceeded all our expectations. Tilila Travel has put the program together perfectly according to our wishes with some unforgettable accommodations. The best part, however, was the 12 days together with our chauffeur Sidi Fatah, who gave us so much about his country. We are happy to have made a new friend. Tilila Travel we can highly recommend to everyone.

I can't begin to express what a wonderful trip this was! My sister and I are travel companions, and Morocco was actually the 49th country I have visited. This was truly one of my top 5 favorites. Mohamed, with Tilila Travels is a pure joy to work with. His professionalism, attention to detail and communication is top notch. I will be honest, when we first started working with him, he asked for a 10% deposit via PayPal - no problem! Then, he told us he wanted us to pay the driver the rest in cash when we were picked up at the airport. As Americans, women, and seeing so many scams out there, I can tell you we were hesitant to say the least. My sister said we would pay when we got to the first hotel/Riad, which is what we did. Zero issues! I just put this out there, so other travellers can know it is ok. Our driver met us with a sign with our name on it and proceeded to take us to a money exchange (at our request) and then to a store to get a SIM card. He then installed the Sim card for me and ensured we had plenty of data. We asked to go to the Jardin Majorelle Garden's which our driver took us to. Our opinion is - don't waste your time or money on these gardens. There are plenty of public gardens, which are free that you can go to. After that, we went to our Riad. We were within a 3 minute walk to the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. What an experience! Go both during the day, and at night, as there is so much to see! As we walked the streets of Marrakech, we always felt safe! Zero issues anytime day or night. Once we arrived at our Riad, we asked if it was possible to get a massage. Yes, they accommodated us, but then recommended we get a hammam. We had no idea what that was, but said "sure". All I can say is, if you haven't done it before, or for a long time, then do it! Between the Hammam and the 60 minute massage (all for $70), we were relaxed beyond belief. I said we were picked up at the airport by a driver, but our "real" driver Yassin, who was with us for the rest of our 2 weeks picked us up on Day 2. He was amazing!! He is Berber, speaks great English and was such a joy for our entire trip. Driving in and to Marrakech, Dadés Gorges, Erg Shebbi dessert, Midelt, Fes, Chefchaouen and finally Casablanca and then back to Marrakech', is not for the faint of heart, but Yassin was truly a professional. We talked, laughed and got to know each other over the next two weeks. He accommodated us by taking us to a grocery store where we could buy wine, several times 🤪. He changed the itinerary if we chose, although, Mohamed had it mapped out so we'll that we rarely deviated. At each city we stayed, Mohamed had the most amazing Riads/hotels booked. He knew the cities we should go to and the places we should stay! At most of the cities we went to, a local tour guide was arranged to take us on a local tour. Both the tour guides in Marrakech and Fes were exemplary! We certainly would not have been able to see what we did, taste the foods we did and experience all we did without them. It was effortless for us and all made possible with Tilila Travels. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is, if you want a wonderful tour of Morocco, for one day or 2 weeks, get in touch with Mohamed - you won't be sorry! We are looking forward to going back and seeing some of the places we have yet to see!!

When considering Morocco, I did research and requested quotes from different travel companies. I settled on Tilila Travel based on the itinerary and price. I travel private/solo so I am used to the additional cost but Mohamed made sure to advise me of the solo cost, which I appreciated. But I got much more than just a good itinerary and reasonable price. The service and communication from Mohamed and my driver, Yassin, was some of the best of the tour companies I have used. Mohamed was very responsive before and and checked on me during my trip. Yassin was a great, personable, knowledgeable and experienced driver. When my luggage was lost on arrival in Marrakech, he helped me retrieve it. I enjoyed the riads/hotels and their locations. The vehicle was a nice vehicle, very comfortable. The guides chosen for the two cities were knowledgeable and the tours were interesting. Tilila is professional, courteous and responsive. You never know when you're trying to pick a tour company based on online reviews. I found what was written in the reviews I read prior to my trip to be true of the service of Tilila. Mohamed does a great job with this company. Morocco is a beautiful and fascinating country. If you are on the fence about traveling here, do it and use Tilila!

This was our first experience with Morocco and it was wonderful thanks to Tilila travel. We signed up for the small group tour but it ended up as private because no other guests signed for our days. We were very fortunate to have Rashid as our guide. Apart from being an excellent driver he was a thoughtful and intelligent companion. You have to expect to spend a lot of time getting from place to place as Morocco is roughly the size of the State of California, but it is worth it. Our coordinator at Tilila,Mohamed was very professional and was always available for us. I cannot recommend him and his agency more highway.

My mother and I just returned from a 12-day tour of Morocco and it was one of the most incredible holidays I've ever been on - I can't recommend Tilila Travel enough. We flew in and out of Marrakech and drove into the desert for 3 days, stopping at Dades Valley, Merzouga, and staying overnight in a gorgeous luxury camp in the sand dunes to enjoy sunset and sunrise. From there, we drove all around the country including Chefchauen, Fes, Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca and Essouiera before returning to Marrakech. We stayed in beautiful riads in old medinas, had city guides in Marrakech and Fes show us the sights and enjoyed 12 days of absolutely stunning scenery from the comfort of a private vehicle. Our driver Mustapha was wonderful - he told us a lot about Morocco and answered our questions, stopped frequently along the way for us to rest, eat and take photos, and made sure we had everything we needed. Mohamed checked in with us regularly to make sure we were happy and that the trip was meeting our expectations. I can't recommend this tour and Tilila Travel highly enough. I would return in a heartbeat to do it all over again, the only thing I would do differently would be to stay longer!
