Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba
Guided Tour to the most outstanding monument of Cordoba, the Mosque-Cathedral. It has been declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. The Guided Tour performed by expert historians, will lead you through an alive temple that has been witness to numerous historical events. It will not leave you indifferent. We will explain the different stages of construction, starting from the remains of the old Visigothic basilica of San Vicente that are still preserved. We will follow the Guided Tour to the old mosque that was built by Emir Abderraman I and the following expansions until the Almanzor period. After the conquest of the city by the Christian army the Mosque became Cathedral and occupied several warehouses due to the enlargement of the Caliph Al-Hakam II for liturgical celebrations. Later on, the existing transept of the Cathedral was built.

1.00On June 2, 2026, I purchased two tickets for €60. On the 4th, I requested the cancellation. According to the published terms, I expected a partial refund. After several attempts to contact, I have not received a response.

5.00An incredible experience, how the brutal Christian overpowerer has respectfully inserted himself into Moorish architecture and thus produced a harmonious if bizarre combination. The meeting place is partly because of the huge crowds, harder to find than thought.

5.00We loved visiting the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba with a guided tour in English. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered the many questions asked. He informed us the Mosque-Cathedral was open every morning from 8.30am for an hour if we wanted to go in again and view the building at a slower pace. He also informed us that a mass is held every day in the cathedral should people wish to attend. Thank you to our guide.

1.00Do not use this service. Communication was extremely poor. The provider instructed me to go to a specific meeting point and said they would meet me there. However, when I arrived, no one showed up. I sent a text message and received no response. After waiting, I sent another message letting them know I was still there, but they never replied and completely left me hanging. As a result, I missed the activity and had to purchase new tickets and pay again out of pocket. I am now having to dispute the charge with my credit card company to obtain a refund. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time and money.
