Experience the Mostraumen Fjord Cruise on board our small, intimate vessels—each carrying fewer than 100 guests for a relaxed, spacious and personal journey. Enjoy large outdoor decks for fresh-air sightseeing and a cozy indoor lounge with panoramic windows. In our onboard kiosk, you can purchase snacks and a selection of hot and cold drinks, with and without alcohol, to enjoy along the way.
Departing from central Bergen, we sail past historic landmarks before heading through the Cityfjord, Salhusfjord and Osterfjord, where steep mountains and tranquil coves create a constantly shifting landscape. The adventure reaches its highlight in the narrow Mostraumen Channel, where the captain carefully navigates between towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls. With daily departures year-round, this is the most intimate and up-close fjord experience from Bergen—perfect for travelers seeking comfort, atmosphere and unforgettable views.

This tour will go in rain or shine. In the winter months, it can happen that the sea freezes in the innermost part of the fjord where there is a lot of fresh water mixed with the sea water, brackish water. If there is so much ice that there is no safe passage for boats, the captain will then choose an alternative route in this area. This is beyond our control and it does not give grounds for claiming a refund for the trip. We will always do our best to give our customers great experiences, even on days when the forces of nature are not easy to handle.
Bryggen is one of Norway’s most iconic sights—Bergen’s postcard-famous row of colorful wooden buildings along the harbor. Travelers will pass this UNESCO-listed waterfront and see the historic architecture that has become a signature image of Bergen and Norway.
Travelers will pass the iconic Nordhordland Bridge, a striking combination of suspension bridge and floating bridge spanning the fjord north of Bergen. Known for its unique engineering and dramatic setting, the bridge is a recognizable landmark and an impressive sight when entering the fjord landscape.

The cruise was fine. The weather was not. Cold and rainy. It was a very full boat, so it was a bit difficult to move around, especially on top. There was a bit of confusion about where to meet the boat. It dropped off in one spot and picked up at another. They were fairly close to each other, but a crowd of people had to scramble from the one place to the other. A bit chaotic.

Low key boat with pre-recorded messages with what you are seeing. Beautiful waterfalls and still water. Easy to talk while boating.

Plenty of photo ops; plan your lunch before or after; just snacks on board and there's a cost. Long enough to enjoy but glad it isn't longer. Very limited seating upstairs; plan to stand if you go outside.

Comfortable ferry. Smooth ride. Information given at particular points of the trip was helpful. The fjords were spectacular. Very enjoyable.

My family and I took this amazing cruise during our trip to beautiful Bergen last month. The meeting point was very well explained, and there was a clear sign on the pier, so the location is difficult to be missed- it's just past by the Fish market. There is a similar cruise, operated by a different company, but the starting time and location are different, so there is no confusion. The price for this excursion was very, very reasonable, compared to the prices for similar outings. The boat never felt crowded and taking photos outside was easy. We arrived early and had the chance to chat with a wonderful crew member, whose name I missed (sorry), she is from England and has been living in Bergen for a long time. We learned so much from her, and are very grateful for her time and friendliness. The boat is very big, with plenty of seating area inside and outside. We opted to sitting inside along the huge windows and to go outside for photos. Snacks and drinks are sold on board, and the crew is among the nicest we have encountered. There was also a live commentary on board with fun and useful information about the areas we were passing by. In certain areas the boat stopped and they opened the front deck for photos, which made for an incredible experience on the 3.5 hours journey. The weather was perfect- sunny and as warm as it can be in late April. The views along the way are stunning- lovely colorful homes, snow-capped mountains, blue water, blue skies- what else can you wish for? Do not miss to take photos of Bryggen (the harbour) on the way back: the colorful buildings, the boats in front and the water are a picture perfect!

The cruise boat pickup was in a great location in Bergen near tourist information. Beautiful trip and worth the money. Highly recommend. Get there early to get a good spot on the boat.

3.5 hour cruise, the views are incredible! The boat was very comfy with a bar and hot drinks/snacks. Loads of comfy seating downstairs, wrap up warm if you’re sitting out on top! A fantastic way to view the fjords, one of the highlights of our trip to Bergen. Highly recommend!
