5.00The view above the volcano was incredible! We had a good sunset, our guide Cardika got us to the top quickly and safely. He also gave us a lovely food cooked in the steam at the top! If you’re a beginner hiker, they have bikes to take you up but only take cash, <200k for a ride. I really recommend the hike up though!

5.00We had Antara as our driver who is excellent, and very kind, even stopped at a viewpoint so we can take photos of Batur, and dropped us at a nearby, but different location in Ubud, which we requested almost last minute, great and very skilled driver! We had Jero as our guide who has provided the best experience while hiking! Very attentive to all needs of the group, and happy to share her knowledge about Balinese culture and her connection to the sacred nature of the mountain.

5.00We were looking for sunset hiking tour to Mt Batur. It was very hard to find it, since not many companies are able to do this. mountbaruttrakking company had offered what we exactly wanted. Despite wet weather and my some level of nervousness we had great experience. Our tour guide Uz ( I don’t know exactly spelling) was amazing, experienced, calm and a person you can trust. The driver picked us from the hotel in Ubud and brought us back. Beautiful spectacular drive around lake Batur. Going up was slightly challenging but amazing! Cooking eggs in volcanic steam at the summit was fun . We expected a difficult hike back down, however, surprisingly it was much easier than going up. We would highly recommend this company and our special thank to our tour guide Uz( Uzhin) ?

5.00The company was very flexible with our situation. We had booked he sunset hiking tour but one of us caught the Bali belly and was in no shape for intense physical activity. They were ok with us switching to a sunset Jeep tour instead and also took us to a temple in addition to the coffee and sunset excursion. The coffee plantation was very informative and I ended up being 3 bags of coffee even though I do not usually drink premium coffee. Jero was our main guide for most of the day and he is a very skilled driver. He also made pit stops for us to pickup wine and snacks of the sunset your. At the Jeep meetup point, we met his brother, August, who was the driver for the Jeep excursion. His driving was Equally skilled as Jero, maneuvering through the rough terrain like a pro. He found the primest of spots to park the Jeep for front row seats to the scenic mountain landscape. Your Bali trip is incomplete until you experience this nature immersion. Thank you both for making Bali, Bali.

5.00Great experience of that Mt Batur’s hike !!! A Jeep came to our hotel to pick us up, then we drove to the bottom of Mt Batur to start the hike. It took us around 1 hour to reach the summit where we enjoyed a pretty nice sunset ! Komang, our guide & driver, was kind & helpful ! He guided us thru the whole way in a professional & kind manner !

4.00The guide and driver were very kind. Thank you very much. Sunset hiking has fewer people compared to sunrise, so you can slowly enjoy the summit. I recommend sunset for people who want a quiet mountain hike. The view from the summit was amazing! The mountains and fields illuminated by the sunset were very beautiful.

The trail is moderately challenging, but well worth the effort. As you ascend, panoramic views of Lake Batur and the surrounding volcanic landscape begin to unfold. Reaching the summit just in time for sunset was magical—the sky transforms into a canvas of warm hues, casting a surreal light. The guide was knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring safety.
