Travel in a small group from Christchurch, on a day trip to Aoraki Mount Cook – the tallest mountain in New Zealand. Visit the picturesque Church of Good Shepherd on the shores of Lake Tekapo and admire stunning alpine views from turquoise colored Lake Pukaki. Savor a scrumptious lunch at the Hermitage Hotel (POA) located in Mt. Cook National Park and enjoy a scenic walk to see the Tasman Glacier. Visit the turquoise coloured lakes of glacial melt and snow capped mountains.

Approximately 2.5 hrs of free time in Mount Cook National Park for lunch, enjoy a scenic walk or your preferred activity.

5.0This is an excellent trip, we really enjoyed our day. It is long day but worth it. We learned a lot about the local area and it was amazing to see the lakes and the top of Mount Cook. Our driver was really friendly and the day was well organised. Thank you!

5.0The tour guide was phenomenal -- knowledgeable and patient! We stopped at many beautiful places with ample time to take lots of selfies, take in the scenery, take a bathroom break, and get some snacks. We got very helpful advice at every stop on where we should go, the best sights, and how long we should be staying at each stop. The bus itself was very nice. There were some light snacks provided along with water (super useful). This trip had some of the most stunning scenery I've ever seen.
