This was honestly the best Viator tour experience I’ve ever had. Our guide was incredibly kind, friendly and generous, and you could really feel how responsible and thoughtful he was throughout the whole trip. He kept checking on everyone and even shared snacks, chocolates and water with us, which made the journey feel very warm and comfortable. The itinerary itself was amazing, but what made it truly special was the atmosphere. Listening to his well-chosen playlist while enjoying New Zealand’s snow-capped mountains and turquoise lakes was such a chill and unforgettable experience. Another thing I really appreciated was how patient he was with guests whose English isn’t very strong. He explained directions slowly and clearly using maps, and always made sure everyone knew where to go and where to meet, so communication was never stressful.

I had a wonderful experience on the Mount Cook, Lake Tekapo and Tasman Glacier Walk tour, made even more memorable by our exceptional guide, Anuj. He was friendly, passionate and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing insights that brought each destination to life. One thing I appreciated most was how well-paced the entire tour was. Anuj ensured we had ample time at every attraction, and not once did the trip feel rushed. His attention to our comfort was outstanding — he was generous with snacks and water, making the day feel relaxed and well taken care of. The Mount Cook walk itself was easy, scenic, and absolutely rewarding. The views of the mountains and glaciers were awe-inspiring, the kind that leave you quietly taking in the scale and beauty of nature. Lake Tekapo was equally amazing — peaceful, calming and therapeutic to simply stand by the turquoise water and take in the serenity. Overall, this tour was a fantastic blend of nature, comfort and thoughtful guiding. A huge thank you to Anuj for making the experience so enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region.

Great tour! It's a very long day but the multiple stops and beautiful scenery make it worthwhile. Particularly if you don't have a car or don't want to drive the 4 hours on windy roads! Our tour guide was wonderful and had lots of information to provide. He also made sure we were well stocked with snacks! Though there are a lot of tourists at all the stops, the georgous scenery is well worth it! Would recommend!

Great views and well organised trip. Anuj our guide was very thoughtful and kind. Overall good value given the amount of driving involved if one were to do the trip from Chch oneself

Lake Tekapo is breathtakingly beautiful, with its turquoise waters shimmering beneath a backdrop of snowcapped mountains. Being there felt like stepping into paradise. I know I’ll return someday to explore even more of this enchanting region.

A wonderful experience thanks to our terrific Indian driver with his great commentary. Combined with beautiful sunny weather it was a far better trip than the overrated train trip. Mountains and lakes aplenty.

Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki were absolutely breathtaking. Clear skies, turquoise waters, and perfect reflections. Each stop offered peaceful surroundings and incredible photo opportunities. The beauty of these lakes was unforgettable. Mount Cook and the Tasman Glacier were a different experience. The weather was cloudy, giving the mountains a dramatic, moody atmosphere. Even so, the scenery was impressive, and the glacier views were truly memorable. Our guide was excellent: knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole journey even more enjoyable. He offered us so many snacks!! The drive itself was a highlight, with stunning landscapes unfolding at every turn. Overall, a fantastic experience combining perfect lakes, majestic mountains, and an outstanding guide!
