Get close and personal with Sicily’s most famous volcano on this six-hour, small-group tour. Set off from Taormina — hotel pickups and drop-offs in the vicinity are included upon request — and arrive at Mount Etna, where you’ll spend the day walking through craters, exploring a lava cave, and learning about the volcano’s past eruptions at max. 2000 meters of altitude. Afterwards, you will be provided with a snack, complemented by wine, a little dessert and a sweet wine taste.

5.00We had a great experience on the Etna People half day tour. Daniele C was an excellent tour guide - he was very knowledgeable and personable. The company also made it very convenient and easy to be picked up and dropped off. Would recommend everyone do this if you’re in the area.

5.00Expect to have a good work out hiking. Either bring or use the hiking boots Etna people will provide. Also got cool and windy at the higest ridge of the tour. Danneli from Etna People did a great job.

5.00What a fantastic day exploring Mt. Etna with our knowledgeable, witty, and very Sicilian tour guide Emanuele! My family and I just loved him and this day became one of our favorite adventures! The hike (to what felt like the top!) and cave exploration were filled with interesting facts and very funny stories. The lunch and wine with the other people on the tour at the end was very special as well. Many memories made on this day-thank you Emanuele!

5.00We had a great tour guide. His name was Daniele. He was very knowledgable and friendly! The tour started visiting a cave. Interesting. Great photo opportunity! The walk up the mountain was not that bad! Challenging at times. I would recommend the walking stick provided. We got a lot of great pictures!! Lunch was good at the winery. The wine was great!! Great day!!!

5.00Saro, The best tour guide. An attorney by training educated fully in the geography of Mt. Etna. When you book be sure to do so with him. We had an amazing experience and he answered all of our questions thoroughly. We traveled with children ages 11 and 6 and Saro made it easy for us. 10 / 10 would recommend.
