Get close and personal with Sicily’s most famous volcano on this six-hour, small-group tour. Set off from Taormina — hotel pickups and drop-offs in the vicinity are included upon request — and arrive at Mount Etna, where you’ll spend the day walking through craters, exploring a lava cave, and learning about the volcano’s past eruptions at max. 2000 meters of altitude. Afterwards, you will be provided with a snack, complemented by wine, a little dessert and a sweet wine taste.

We had a great tour guide. His name was Daniele. He was very knowledgable and friendly! The tour started visiting a cave. Interesting. Great photo opportunity! The walk up the mountain was not that bad! Challenging at times. I would recommend the walking stick provided. We got a lot of great pictures!! Lunch was good at the winery. The wine was great!! Great day!!!

Saro, The best tour guide. An attorney by training educated fully in the geography of Mt. Etna. When you book be sure to do so with him. We had an amazing experience and he answered all of our questions thoroughly. We traveled with children ages 11 and 6 and Saro made it easy for us. 10 / 10 would recommend.

The best tour we have ever done. Saro, our guide simply just loves his job and was so knowledgeable with what causes volcanoes to erupt or ‘explode’ We simply had a wonderful experience, highly recommend.
