Chureito Pagoda
The Chureito Pagoda is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine's main buildings.
Arakurayama Sengen Park
Arakurayama Sengen Park is a beautiful park in Fujiyoshida, Japan, known for its amazing view of Mount Fuji. The park has the famous five-story Chureito Pagoda, which stands on a hill surrounded by cherry blossom trees. In spring, the pink flowers, red pagoda, and snow-capped Mount Fuji create one of Japan’s most famous sights. In autumn, colorful leaves cover the area, making it just as stunning. To reach the viewpoint, visitors climb about 400 steps, but the breathtaking scenery at the top is worth it. The park is peaceful and a perfect spot for photos, especially at sunrise or sunset. It’s easy to reach by train from Tokyo, making it a popular day-trip destination.

Such a great experience! He arrived right on time, spoke English very well, and made the day both fun and informative. He knew all the best places to visit and made everything feel easy. I’d absolutely recommend him and would use his services again.

Had an amazing day with Saeed as my guide and driver. By the end of the trip, we were friends. I was flying in the same day and my flight arrived early and when I texted Saeed, he was ready for me early. Car was clean and comfi. We started with the world famous Chureito Pagoda and continued based on my interest. Saeed is funny and we had many stories to share during the drive. At the end of the day, he dropped me to my preferred location in Tokyo and gave me bunch of tips on what to do in the evening.

Shabeer was an exceptional guide from start to finish. He was warm, professional, and made our whole family of 5 feel completely at ease. His knowledge and clear communication made the experience even more enjoyable, and he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable the entire time. Our kids adored him, and we really appreciated his patience, kindness, and genuine care. We have done many tours, but Shabeer truly stands out. Highly recommend booking with him and he made our day to Mount Fuji unforgettable!

Our driver, Qasim, had recommended we start earlier than originally scheduled so we could avoid the rush hour traffic out of Tokyo on our tour to the Mt. Fuji area. His suggestion was a great idea since we were able to beat the crowds at all our our desired stops. Qasim was very informative during our drive and when visiting the sights. He was a pleasure to be with during our entire tour. By using his knowledge of the best photographic locations at each stop, he took many grest photos of us which we'll enjoy forever. Qasim made our once-in-a-lifetime trip unforgettable.

Thank you, Shabeer! We truly feel fortunate that we joined this Mt. Fuji tour today. From the very beginning, Shabeer impressed us with his professionalism—he knew the area extremely well, explained everything clearly, and anticipated what we might need before we even asked. He was also genuinely friendly and considerate, which made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. His time management was excellent. He paced the entire itinerary so smoothly that we never felt rushed, yet we still managed to visit every spot we hoped to see. At each location, he carefully planned our route, explained what was worth paying attention to, and made sure we had enough time to enjoy the scenery. What really stood out was how dedicated he was to helping us capture the memories. He took a large number of photos for us—beautifully framed, well-composed shots that looked almost like they came from a professional photographer. Thanks to him, the whole trip felt not only well-organized but also truly memorable and special. We highly recommend Shabeer! And you will not be disappointed with this tour!

We went on the Mt Fuji tour with Qasim and found it to be a great experience. Qasim is a great guide he is very knowledgeable about the entire Mt Fuji area and knew exactly where to go when we asked for specific views for our pictures like a spot with clear view of Mt Fuji or trees that are changing color. Moreover, Qasim is very nice and accomodating, he didnt hurry us during the trip. Finally he is also a great driver, I fell asleep during the whole car ride and didnt feel any disturbance till I woke up.

Our 'guide'/driver asked us to be ready by 6am, instead of advertised 7.30am start, to beat traffic and he seemed obsessed about beating traffic throughout the tour and wanted return planned by 1pm. We had to remind him the booking says it's a 7-9h tour, then he said as long as we are happy to pay 3000 yen/30mins over 7 hours he can ride us around as long as we wanted. He was not aware of the full itinerary. THEY DONT TAKE YOU TO ALL THE PLACES IN THE ITINERARY. They should clearly mention which itineraries are possible, so we can plan ahead to see other places they dont cover. We specifically wanted to see Owaku Dani valley which is in the itinerary and he said we can't go there. He said he'll take us to a place where mountain can be seen with reflection, but took to a place where there was no reflection. When we asked to take us to lake Kawaguchiko where reflection can be seen, he took us somwhere else with A partial reflection seen. Then on the way back we passed that beautiful spot where mountain can be seen with full reflection, and he never stopped, I dont know why he didn't take us there in the first place! For the 7 hours, we only visited 5th station, 2 spots of Fuji view, Ice tunnel and the temple. Allowing these sort of tours in a country like Japan is shameful. Driving was reckless, accelarations, frequent lane changes and 2 near misses! Viator should look into this operator. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PREVIOUS TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY.
