A wonderful tour from pick up to drop off. Our was guide was Damien whose knowledge of Mount Gay and wider rum production was just amazing. Would highly recommend this tour, have done other distillery visits but Mount Gay was far more thorough and informative. The highlight was the R&D on the rums and the explanation on aroma, taste and how the rums were produced.

We loved touring at Mount Gay! We love rum and being able to see where it all started was fascinating. Our amazing tour guide, Tina, was an absolute delight to spend 2 hours with. She gave us a thorough understanding of the distillery, rum making and blending. She knew her stuff! The tour finished with a tasting of 5 (or6?) rums which Tina walked us through helping us to appreciate even more the rum we were drinking. This was a highlight of our trip to Barbados! Thank you Tina and Mount Gay!

My husband and I had a tour of the Mount Gay Rum Distillery in Barbados, including tasting of some of the best rum in the world. It was a great experience for us to learn about the rum history of Barbados and the various different types and qualities of rum available on the island and around the world. Our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable about the unique craft of making Barbados rum, which is one of the oldest crafts in the world.

Great experience, our guide on the day was excellent! A man that can hold a room. The Rum samples + mount gay history talk+video helped us understand the rum process. Don't forget to buy your exclusive rums on the way out!

First time on this experience at Mount Gay and it was good due to the narrator. She was excellent. However, much could be improved in that we only went into 2 rooms - one to watch a video and the other to do the rum tasting. We did not look around the factory which I felt would have been highly interesting.

Our host was Tina, she was very enthusiastic and funny. Engaged with the clients, asked/answered questions. I kept shuddering on the tasting of different stages but I did enjoy the 40yr old rum. I highly recommend you give it ago.

This five-star experience is a masterclass in Bajan hospitality, offering seamless door-to-door service from hotel pickup to drop-off. The Journey experience at the distillery in St. Lucy begins with a warm welcome featuring their signature Rum Punch. Our guide , Damion was exceptional, blending history with humor as he led us through the distillery . The highlight included the guided tasting of four premium rums, where we learned to appreciate the complex notes of the famous XO. With professional transport taking the stress out of the commute, it is an absolute must-do for anyone visiting Barbados.
