Pilatus Luzern
Hop aboard your comfortable coach for the short journey to Kriens, at the foot of the imposing Mt Pilatus. On arrival, begin your ascent to the mountain’s lofty summit with a 30-minute panoramic gondola ride to the Fräkmüntegg terminus. Enjoy beautiful views over the rolling hills and lush pine forests below. At Fräkmüntegg, hop aboard the aerial tramway — a spacious and modern cabin with panoramic windows designed to give the feeling of flight. Continue your climb to the summit at a dizzying altitude of 7,000 feet, and take in spectacular views over the Alpine peaks and lakes from your vantage point on the mountain. During your free time atop Mt Pilatus, perhaps sit down to a high-altitude lunch among the peaks (own expense) or relax on the expansive sun terrace. Venture down the Dragon's Path and take a short hike around the summit to enjoy the amazing views.

The connections were smooth on this trip. Our guide, Milton, lead us throughout the trip. I wish we could’ve had a little bit more explanation of the sites, but understand because of the multiple forms of transportation this was not possible. The view from the mountain was stunning.

This was an awesome experience. I went with 9 other family members and all of us enjoyed it! I went to the very top personally after a small hike, and some of my family didn’t take the gondola and did that ropes course. Our guide was very helpful with that and told them when to meet up at the top to take the cogwheel down. It was an amazing experience and if you come to this area of Switzerland make sure to come to Mt. Pilatus

Our guide Yolanda was helpful and the trip was well planned to give travellers with a kid like ours enough time to see and do things.

This was a wonderful experience and a great way to spend a day in Lucerne. The trip up Mount Pilates is beautiful and scenic and so are the views from the top of the mountain. You literally are above the clouds! Our tour guide George did a great job keeping us updated and explaining everything about the tour we were taking. He did a great job.
