Pilatus Luzern
Hop aboard your comfortable coach for the short journey to Kriens, at the foot of the imposing Mt Pilatus. On arrival, begin your ascent to the mountain’s lofty summit with a 30-minute panoramic gondola ride to the Fräkmüntegg terminus. Enjoy beautiful views over the rolling hills and lush pine forests below. At Fräkmüntegg, hop aboard the aerial tramway — a spacious and modern cabin with panoramic windows designed to give the feeling of flight. Continue your climb to the summit at a dizzying altitude of 7,000 feet, and take in spectacular views over the Alpine peaks and lakes from your vantage point on the mountain. During your free time atop Mt Pilatus, perhaps sit down to a high-altitude lunch among the peaks (own expense) or relax on the expansive sun terrace. Venture down the Dragon's Path and take a short hike around the summit to enjoy the amazing views.

This is a worthwhile experience. My sister and I enjoyed the different modes of transportation up and down the mountain and were happy to have a guide along the way. We had plenty of time to do a hike and grab a beer at the top before the group headed back down.

Excellent tour. Well organized. Our guide, Thomas, was lovely. The sights from all angles of the mountain were breathtaking. The various gondolas and cogwheel trains were sturdy and also offered beautiful views. The boat ride was ferry, but relaxing with beautiful views of and from the lake.

Excellent tour. The meet up was easy and the tour included a gondola, cogwheel train, and boat ride. We met people from all over and took lots of great pictures. Very relaxing.

We had a fantastic day! Yolanda our guide was amazing throughout. Was very clear with what to expect and see at each stop. We had beautiful weather and scenery to match. Highly recommend this tour. Only criticism is the cog train on way down had minimal ventilation (no air con) and it being 30 degrees Celsius was an oven for the nearly hour down the mountain. The boat trip back to lucerne was good but only able to sit on bottom deck outside on bench seats. To go upstairs was a considerable extra cost.

Beautiful experience. It's a great opportunity to experience the three different modes of transportation. A great place to eat, drink and enjoy the mountain.
