4.00The transportation from Brisbane to Mt. Tamborine was on a rather large bus, not on a promised van. They combined in the bus two groups, one for the wineries and another to hop on/off tour. Terry did a great job entertaining us on the way there with fun facts about Australia, Brisbane, and Mt. Tamborine. They do not grow grapes at the site, and we did not learn much about Australian wines on that tour. However, the tasting servings were generous, and the lunch was great!

5.00Excellent small group tour with ‘Andy the Steerer’ at the wheel. We had a really enjoyable day and Andy was friendly and helpful throughout. We would thoroughly recommend this tour, not just for the wine tasting but the scenery on the mountain as well.

3.00This tour left me a little bit disappointment. Our guide was more likely our driver. The first winery (Cedar Creek Estate) presenter just filled our tasting glasses with little bit wine and left without presenting what we were having. The next winery was much better one. The staff in here were professional. On the third winery we had first some wine tasting with professional staff and after that the lunch was served. The lunch was very delicious. The last part of the tour was Tamborine Distellery where we had choice to taste 4 different liqueurs in additional fee.

3.00We went to two ‘wineries’ when the tour promised three. To say the first was a ‘guided’ tour was not the case. 6 glasses lined up on a bar, a small splash of wine with limited explanation and then out. The second venue was slightly better with the server more willing to explain. However, the grapes are not cultivated on site and are all imported from other areas. The amount of wine given per tasting was barely enough to coat your tongue. We were promised a ‘gourmet’ lunch but got a pie and chips in an Irish pub (albeit very nice, it was not what was promised). We then went to the distillery where we had to pay to taste. Terry the guide showing us around was very nice but I feel what is being advertised as a stunning luxury experience was very underwhelming.

5.00A really fun day out from Brisbane and we were lucky to share it with a lovely fun bunch of people on our bus. But the thing that made it great was Andy the bus-steerer who has a fantastic and dry sense of humour that kept us all entertained and laughing all day. Favourite winery was Masons, some great reds and a superb lunch there. Highly recommend this tour, and Andy.

3.00This unfortunately did not live up to my expectations. Andy the bus 'steerer' was great and friendly and did his best to make sure everyone had a good time. But the first two wineries were so slow and busy and understaffed that we had to rush through the other two. The last one was also too busy with stressed staff. There are just too many tours going on at once for people to relax and enjoy themselves. They also didn't rinse glasses between pours anywhere and even crackers cost extra so you couldn't cleanse your palet in between.
