Witness breathtaking snowy mountain landscapes on this day trip from Zurich to Mount Titlis. First, your guide points out some top Lucerne attractions on a short orientation drive through the city, followed by some free time in this charming city. Then, continue to Engelberg in the Swiss Alps and ride in a revolving cable car to the top of mighty Mount Titlis for majestic views of ice boulders and crevasses. Get closer to the crevasses on the Ice Flyer chairlift, enjoy some snow tubing at the Glacier Park and walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge for more spectacular views.
Optional (in winter, for ski beginners only): Choose the Snow Experience option. Slide down the hill on snow tubes and try skiing once in a lifetime on the beginner slopes – definitely a memorable experience you shouldn't miss. A Titlis Snow Park staff member (English-speaking) will provide the equipment and supervise the activities.

**From June 2026: Due to the construction of the new Titlis tower and mountain station, visits to the summit will be limited to approximately one hour to enjoy the available activities (weather permitting) before descending to the Trübsee middle station, where restaurant facilities will be available.**
Optional visit of observation deck “TITLIS Horizon” (available from June 1st, 2026). Cost: CHF 18.00 adult / CHF 9.00 child (to be paid on spot in cash or by credit card)
(*) The TITLIS Rotair will be closed from 17 August to 11 December 2026. Outside of this period, routes and modes of transportation may be subject to change without prior notice due to ongoing construction work
The Ski Experience option is not recommended for travelers with back problems or pregnant travelers

Zurich
From the centrally located Sihlquai Bus Station, the scenic coach journey begins through the city of Zurich, the beautiful views of the countryside, and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Cantons to Lucerne.
Luzern Altstadt
Enjoy a brief orientation drive, where your guide points out the main attractions of this charming town like the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church, and the Culture and Convention Centre (KKL). Enjoy some time at leisure to explore the Old Town before the journey continues to Engelberg, where the valley station of Mt. Titlis cable car is located.

5.00Convenient option for a day trip to Titlis. Going with a group and guided tour saved us quite a bit of time, especially since we had only one day planned for Mount Titlis. The logistics were smooth and it was definitely easier than planning everything independently. The guide was okay, but could have been more proactive—we ended up navigating quite a bit on our own. Overall, still a good option if you’re short on time and want a hassle-free visit.

The plan to leave was changed and there was no notification of the change in the departure time. It was raining and cold, now I know that the tour guide can't predict the weather however there were small children on this tour that had no place for any of us to stay warm.

5.00We had Fernando and Shyrah as our tour guide. They were kind and informative. Lake Lucerne is so beautiful. Doesn't even look real it is so breathtaking. Mt Titlis and surrounding scenery was gorgeous as well. They have several activities to do while on the mountain that are fun. We were blessed with incredible weather. Definitely a great tour.

4.00Our group had a fantastic time on the Lucerne & Mt. Titlis tour overall. Unfortunately, a rock slide the week prior had taken out the direct lift to the summit. To their credit, Viator and the mountain staff arranged an alternative route. It was longer and more time-consuming, but since it was beyond their control, we completely understood and appreciated the effort. The only real frustration came later in the day. Sixteen people didn’t make it back to the bus on time, so instead of continuing as planned, we were redirected to pick up another group of 27 people in Lucerne. Under normal circumstances, this might not have been a major issue—but there happened to be a 3.5-hour traffic jam due to a Labor Day protest, which made the delay especially difficult. That said, what truly stood out was our incredible tour guide, Matthew. He went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. He was kind, attentive, answered all our questions, and genuinely cared about ensuring everyone had a great time. Thank you, Matthew, for making the tour so special!
