Witness breathtaking snowy mountain landscapes on this day trip from Zurich to Mount Titlis. First, your guide points out some top Lucerne attractions on a short orientation drive through the city, followed by some free time in this charming city. Then, continue to Engelberg in the Swiss Alps and ride in a revolving cable car to the top of mighty Mount Titlis for majestic views of ice boulders and crevasses. Get closer to the crevasses on the Ice Flyer chairlift, enjoy some snow tubing at the Glacier Park and walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge for more spectacular views.

Optional (in winter, for ski beginners only): Choose the Snow Experience option. Slide down the hill on snow tubes and try skiing once in a lifetime on the beginner slopes – definitely a memorable experience you shouldn't miss. A Titlis Snow Park staff member (English-speaking) will provide the equipment and supervise the activities.

**From June 2026: Due to the construction of the new Titlis tower and mountain station, visits to the summit will be limited to approximately one hour to enjoy the available activities (weather permitting) before descending to the Trübsee middle station, where restaurant facilities will be available.**

Optional visit of observation deck “TITLIS Horizon” (available from June 1st, 2026). Cost: CHF 18.00 adult / CHF 9.00 child (to be paid on spot in cash or by credit card)

(*) The TITLIS Rotair will be closed from 17 August to 11 December 2026. Outside of this period, routes and modes of transportation may be subject to change without prior notice due to ongoing construction work

The Ski Experience option is not recommended for travelers with back problems or pregnant travelers

From the centrally located Sihlquai Bus Station, the scenic coach journey begins through the city of Zurich, the beautiful views of the countryside, and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Cantons to Lucerne.

Enjoy a brief orientation drive, where your guide points out the main attractions of this charming town like the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church, and the Culture and Convention Centre (KKL). Enjoy some time at leisure to explore the Old Town before the journey continues to Engelberg, where the valley station of Mt. Titlis cable car is located.

The trip to the top depends on weather permitting. Gondola ride is a favourite enjoyable exhilarating I could go up and down if given opportunity as the views are spectacular.

We had a wonderful experience on our tour with our guide Remie. The check in at the pick up location was easy and the bus was comfortable. The views were beautiful on the drive and Remie gave some history and facts along the way. Lucerne was the cutest little town with some great mountain views. We had time to get coffee, walk around and get a quick snack before returning to the bus. The time spent there was not guided, so each group could explore on their own. We then went to Mount Titlis, which had so much to do! You could take the lift up and the resort had restaurants, gift shops, bars, etc. This portion was also not guided, but our guide was still available for questions if you needed her. You can also choose to do the ice cave or the suspension bridge, the day we went it was not crowded so we didn't have to wait for either one. The day we went was snowing, so it was a bit cloudy, but still a really cool experience. Overall, this was one of the best tours of our trip to Switzerland and would suggest it as a way to see a lot in one day.

I recently joined the Mt.Titlis excursion from Zürich, and it was truly a lifetime experience. A huge thank you to our guides, *Adolfo and Franziska*, for being so knowledgeable and engaging. Adolfo’s resemblance to Bad Bunny was a fun bonus, but his, Franziska’s and Manuel(bus driver) their expertise is what really made the day. The driver and the guides were excellent. The drive to the destination was smooth and he was great navigating through the many switchbacks and narrow small town roads. The guides were cheerful, knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommend this excursion!

We had a great day. Alexander was our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, spoke in English and Spanish. Our first stop was Lucerne. Such a beautiful city, we had our own time to walk & explore. Mt. Titlas was stunning. We took the gondola to the Rotating cable car, that was awesome. The view from the top did not disappoint! The glazier cave was beautiful, my sister said the walk on the bridge was amazing. I’m not great with heights, I was fine with all of it, minus the suspension bridge, I didn’t attempt it🤣 but the pictures from it were stunning. We ate at the restaurant, went to the base bar before our bus headed back, both were good. It was a really great day. The sights along the way, magnificent.
