Witness breathtaking snowy mountain landscapes on this day trip from Zurich to Mount Titlis. First, your guide points out some top Lucerne attractions on a short orientation drive through the city, followed by some free time in this charming city. Then, continue to Engelberg in the Swiss Alps and ride in a revolving cable car to the top of mighty Mount Titlis for majestic views of ice boulders and crevasses. Get closer to the crevasses on the Ice Flyer chairlift, enjoy some snow tubing at the Glacier Park and walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge for more spectacular views.
Optional (in winter, for ski beginners only): Choose the Snow Experience option. Slide down the hill on snow tubes and try skiing once in a lifetime on the beginner slopes – definitely a memorable experience you shouldn't miss. A Titlis Snow Park staff member (English-speaking) will provide the equipment and supervise the activities.

**From June 2026: Due to the construction of the new Titlis tower and mountain station, visits to the summit will be limited to approximately one hour to enjoy the available activities (weather permitting) before descending to the Trübsee middle station, where restaurant facilities will be available.**
Optional visit of observation deck “TITLIS Horizon”. Cost: CHF 18.00 adult / CHF 9.00 child (to be paid on spot in cash or by credit card)
The Ski Experience option is not recommended for travelers with back problems or pregnant travelers

From the centrally located Sihlquai Bus Station, the scenic coach journey begins through the city of Zurich, the beautiful views of the countryside, and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Cantons to Lucerne.
Luzern Altstadt
Enjoy a brief orientation drive, where your guide points out the main attractions of this charming town like the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church, and the Culture and Convention Centre (KKL). Enjoy some time at leisure to explore the Old Town before the journey continues to Engelberg, where the valley station of Mt. Titlis cable car is located.

Missed the hanging bridge

3.00We were sent up Mt Titlis without our tourist guide and we were somehow lost where to get started . We missed the hanging bridge which was part of the tour and missed the outside experience where you hanged on a moving suspension. I think missing these 2 experiences , that they should give us a refund! I could have bought my own ticket to this excursion for lesser money . The tour to Luzern is also on your own and you have to walk back to the bus. You can easily get distracted with the time frame they gave you. I was disappointed.

4.00The tour guide Eli gave us a brief history lesson on the way up to Lucerne. He was friendly and professional; so was Madeline. The bus driver was safe and we made the trip there and back without incident or concern. We were disappointed to learn that the Ice Flyer was down ( we were told as we pulled into the parking lot). For November, Mt. Titlis Ice Cave was very crowded. The cave itself was roped off so I think we only got to see half of the experience. It would be nice to have an audio tour or guide inside to tell you about the sculptures. All in all, the day was a good experience.
The views are worth every penny!

5.00A fantastic experience from the bus trip to the top of Titlis and back. Raphael and his team were so friendly and helpful and made the trip one to remember. The bus was comfortable and the driver was superb in getting us there and back safely. My family said it was their best holiday experience on our trip.

5.00We got really lucky with the weather. The sun was out and some clouds when we were at the top of Mt Titlis. It was cloudy when we left Zurich, but by the time we left Lucerne the skies were clearing up. The start of the bus ride took a very scenic route to Lucerne, on some windy roads. The trip up to Mt Titlis is also very windy. If you tend to be motion sick, take medicine before departing. We did go on a Sunday when a lot of stores are closed. We were in Lucerne around noon and there weren’t very many stores open. But since we were not there for a shopping trip, it didn’t bother us at all. Going up to Mt Titlis was spectacular. The views on the way up were great, and even better from the top. Well worth the trip.
