Witness breathtaking snowy mountain landscapes on this day trip from Zurich to Mount Titlis. First, your guide points out some top Lucerne attractions on a short orientation drive through the city, followed by some free time in this charming city. Then, continue to Engelberg in the Swiss Alps and ride in a revolving cable car to the top of mighty Mount Titlis for majestic views of ice boulders and crevasses. Get closer to the crevasses on the Ice Flyer chairlift, enjoy some snow tubing at the Glacier Park and walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge for more spectacular views.
Optional (in winter, for ski beginners only): Choose the Snow Experience option. Slide down the hill on snow tubes and try skiing once in a lifetime on the beginner slopes – definitely a memorable experience you shouldn't miss. A Titlis Snow Park staff member (English-speaking) will provide the equipment and supervise the activities.

**From June 2026: Due to the construction of the new Titlis tower and mountain station, visits to the summit will be limited to approximately one hour to enjoy the available activities (weather permitting) before descending to the Trübsee middle station, where restaurant facilities will be available.**

The Ski Experience option is not recommended for travelers with back problems or pregnant travelers

Zurich
From the centrally located Sihlquai Bus Station, the scenic coach journey begins through the city of Zurich, the beautiful views of the countryside, and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Cantons to Lucerne.
Luzern Altstadt
Enjoy a brief orientation drive, where your guide points out the main attractions of this charming town like the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church, and the Culture and Convention Centre (KKL). Enjoy some time at leisure to explore the Old Town before the journey continues to Engelberg, where the valley station of Mt. Titlis cable car is located.

4.00The trip to the top of the mountain is very reliant on the weather conditions and the mountain operator. The day we had the tour it was cancelled although the weather didn't seem so bad when we reached the mountain. The tour guide was exceptional, very knowledgeable and funny. Great way to spend Christmas Day in the snow. Only unfortunate part was the delay in getting the refund for the cancelled portion of the trip from Viator.

4.00Fun day! Weather was very foggy so we couldn't see much until we went up the mountain, but made the best out of it. Sledding down the hill was not possible ans poorly coordinated on the mountain. Not tour guides fault. Also, top of mountain was closed due to high winds so we received partial refund. Also not tour guides fault.

5.00It was definitely the most beautiful place we have ever visited. The view of the Alps from above, especially from the cliff Walk, is of indescribable beauty. No photograph can transmit it perfectly. Lucerne is beautiful too. It deserves more time, but it's impossible on a single walk. You left the taste of wanting more.

5.00We had a fantastic experience on this tour … just wish we had a bit longer to explore Lucerne and see the famous Lion monument but otherwise, it was great! Our guide, Isabel, was very informative and knowledgeable. We felt well looked after. The Mount Titlis part of the experience was absolutely fantastic - we were blessed with beautiful sunny weather with blue skies, and the mountains are just spectacular beyond words. Unfortunately they are doing a new construction on the top so some things like the cliff walk were not available and the ice cave was a bit disappointing. But the views from the top make it so worthwhile! We also spent some time at the Trübsee Middle Station where we went snow tubing and my kids had a blast of fun there too!! The bus is comfortable but we did get a bit of motion sickness due to the stop start nature of going through lots of roundabouts and some of the winding and hairpin bends in the roads but it was manageable. Only drawback is not being allowed to eat on the bus and can only drink water … after a long day, and trying to fit everything in, we didn’t have much time to have lunch so being able to eat a light snack on the bus would have been nice! All in all, it was a brilliant tour and I highly recommend it!

5.00Our tour guide, I believe her name was Andrea, was awesome. She explained everything very well and was extremely knowledgeable, sharing a lot of helpful and interesting information throughout the tour. The only downside for me was that once we arrived in Lucerne, there was about a 15-minute walk. For someone who has difficulty walking long distances, it would be nice if there were an alternative option. Overall, it was a great experience and I would still recommend it.

5.00The mountain didn’t disappoint, absolutely beautiful. Temp -15c but so worth it. The views are not to be missed. Lucern was amazing. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating.

5.00We had a fabulous family tour up to Mount Titlis today, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and the whole day was very well organised. Our guide was friendly, helpful, and incredibly informative, which made the trip even more enjoyable for both adults and children. Everything ran smoothly and we felt well looked after from start to finish. We will definitely recommend this tour to other families visiting!

5.00I really wish we could spend more time in Lucerne. It is a really pretty town. The weather at the top of the mountain was too windy, I guess, so we weren't able to go up to the top, but we had a great time being at the middle section and walking around the lake. It was very beautiful.
