Visit the summit of Mt Titlis on an afternoon tour from Lucerne, where spectacular mountain vistas and a range of snow-themed attractions await. After arriving in Engelberg, ride on the aerial cableway to the summit of Mt Titlis for roughly two hours of free time. Entry to acclaimed glacier attractions such as the rotating Titlis Rotair gondola, Titlis Glacier Park, Ice Flyer chairlift, Glacier Cave and Cliff Walk — Europe’s highest suspension bridge — are all included (weather permitting).

**From June 2026: Due to the construction of the new Titlis tower and mountain station, visits to the summit will be limited to approximately one hour to enjoy the available activities (weather permitting) before descending to the Trübsee middle station, where restaurant facilities will be available.**

The Ski Experience option is not recommended for travelers with back problems or pregnant travelers

What To Expect
Lucerne
Board your coach in central Lucerne and travel south to Engelberg, a glorious alpine village tucked in the shadows of Mt Titlis.
Titlis
Upon arrival, hop aboard the aerial cableway with your guide, and then ride to the glacier’s summit — some 10,000 feet (3,020 meters) above sea level. Take a ride with the revolving cable car "Rotair" and enjoy the spectacular sights of the glacier's deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders.

5.00Great experience. Beautiful afternoon on the mountain. It does not disappoint. Our guide was excellent. She was so very informative and made the trip that much more enjoyable with her knowledge. Dont be intimidated by the expansion bridge. The view on the other side is worth it.

5.00Dress warm! The activities were all fun and the views spectacular! The ice cave and suspension bridge were great as was the gondola and flyer ski lift. Well worth the money and highly recommend.

5.00This was a 45 minute trip from Lucerne with a guide that told us what we would be seeing what we would be doing? I was under the impression it would be an English only tour, but the guide did the tour or narration in English in Spanish. Once at the top of the mountain, we were given tickets for the lift, told him to be back to the bus and turned loose. The view from the top of the mountain was amazing, but it was also very windy and extremely cold for -14°. There was a bridge walk over the glacier, but I couldn’t really find it and it was a little bit hesitant to give it a try, I am 69 years old so I skipped that. I did hear it was a little scary and it was windy, and so the bridge was kind of moving, but perfectly safe. I did walk through the glacier and that was fascinating. I took tons of pictures through different windows on different floors of the lift building. Finally went to the restaurant sat down and had a cup of their amazing pumpkin soup and a coffee with Bailey’s. Of course I hit the gift shops, I had to get a magnet for my refrigerator. The only problem I had with a whole tour is the location of where the bus was located I copied and paste it what turned out to be the name of the area, but not a street address so I was about a quarter mile away from where I should be. I also passed the area on my way there to what I thought with the bus stop but didn’t realize that’s what I was seeing. I called the tour company. They told me to type in my browser, the name of the company and it popped up the location of where I should be. Fortunately, I’m a kind of person that’s always early so I had plenty of time to get to the bus and was just two minutes away from the time they wanted us there. So my only comment would be unique to put in a link that gets us to the location of the bus. That was very convoluted. Highly recommend the tour.

5.00Very nice. Of course we cant control weather and it was whiteout co editions on top. However the cable car rides were nice and the restaurant/bar on top was nice. We enjoyed walking through the glacier caves

5.00The tour guides are so informative and kind! I had a scare that I left my bag near the parking lot and they stayed until we finally saw my bag. Everything worked well even the weather. The driving skills of our driver is superb even with the steep roads to Engelberg!
