Our guide Sofia was very helpful and knowledgeable but a lot of construction work was going on at Titlis so I felt it hampered the experience we had on the panorama platform. From the tour company side , the tour was well organised and the views on way to Titlis were great.

The bus was fine. The gondola rides and the ice flyover were beautiful. BUT it would’ve been one to know that the top of the mountain is under major construction. They’re building a huge tower. What was suppose to be beautiful and pristine was filled with construction noise and helicopters. So disappointing. And it was VERY crowded. We should’ve gone to Mt Pilates instead.

Great activity! Mid-May was a beautiful time to visit Mount Titlis. However, my sisters couldn’t participate in all the snow activities due to icy conditions. They couldn’t do the Titlis Cliff Walk or take the Rotair cable car up to the higher levels because it was too slippery, and there were no handrails or supports to help with footing. It’s not the tour’s fault that they couldn’t participate, but it’s just something to be aware of if visiting during this time of year. That said, they still had a great time with the other activities. We just wish we had known ahead of time how slick the paths could be.
