The English Lake District is one of the most recent additions to UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Admire the rolling countryside and craggy fells whilst listen to your guide about the Lake District's history, geology and the people that have shaped this much-loved region.
Along the way, you will pass some of the region’s most spectacular sights, such as the Borrowdale Valley, Buttermere, Honister pass, and Grasmere. There are many stops on route; a highlight is the Castlerigg Stone Circle with its panoramic views. Our friendly driver/guide will provide an on-board commentary on this full day spectacular tour of lakes and mountains.

Please note, the pick up location you have chosen is where you will be collected from. It is not possible to be collected from a different location once chosen. If you are not at the correct pick up location and miss the tour, we cannot offer alternative arrangements.
Due to a landslide, Kirkstone pass is currently unpassable. Therefore until further notice you will not visit Brotherswater or Ullswater on your tour. Our incredible driver guides will instead take you off the beaten track to a few other fabulous Lake District sites and lakes.

5.00Suprise view! There were so many to mention but this comes to mind immediately. The time given for each stop was perfect, Tim was extremely mindful in giving us the opportunity to capture every moment/memory, Indicating amazing photo opportunities that we would never have captured without Tim's knowledge. I cannot wait to visit again and make more memories with the help of Mountain Goats tours and there amazing team. Tim was exceptional and we were part of a lovely group of people today that were kind and courteous to others at all times.

5.00Our hotel pickup was great and on time. Tony our tour guide was just lovely, he was patient, knowledgeable and a fabulous driver. Showed us all the main attractions and we had good comfort breaks. All in all a fabulous experience. Highly recommend it.

5.00Steve was our driver and tourists guide. Absolutely fantastic, he made the trip very interesting with his local knowledge and stories. Went to some fabulous places, stunning scenery even though it rained. Steve is so passionate about Cumbria ,is friendly, helpful and enjoys the questions presented to him. Would definitely recommend.

5.00I wasn’t expecting that much due to the bad weather which is already a norm in Lake District but it becomes a very unforgettable experience. Thanks to our tour guide Stef who makes the most of our day very remarkable. The destinations were absolutely stunning and a very good value for a money. Stef was truly knowledgeable with the top attractions giving us enough facts to be aware of the story behind certain places. The crowd is very lively during the tour and will definitely suggest to my friends who will plan for a vist at Lake District.
