A welcome dinner of Hui Style Meal will be served in a history-honored restaurant on Tunxi Old Street.
Tunxi Ancient Street
After pickup and short rest, you will be provided a guide trip to Tunxi Old Street, an ancient live floating Song-dynasty commercial street. Here you can not only purchase the local specialties, but more experience the splendid Huizhou culture by a close touch with Chinese four treasures: writing and painting brush, black ink, xuan paper and ink stones/slabs.
Liyang Street
Here is the ancient harbor and local dwellers’ residences. We natives like to call it “Water Street” because the field is full of archaic canals, brooks, water and land opera stages which are still put into use today. It is also an ideal place for you to have a cup of tea or beer after a day’s work. Night lights will make this place and its night life more charming and mysterious so as not to leave.

Hongcun Ancient Village
Before ascending the mountain, we will firstly pay a visit to a film place of Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon to avoid the long queue of waiting cable car and scenic-spot shuttle bus. Here you will genuinely feel what is Chinese Fengshui and how it affects local people's life and beyond. You will feel like you were walking inside Chinese pasture painting and reluctant to walk out. Peaceful and tranquility, it seems the secular world has never disturbed here and this small picturesque village has been standing inside the mountains and rivers for more than 800 years. Each senior can be a thick book for you to read. Each alley can be a maze for you to wander in a trance.
Mt. Huangshan
At noon time we will start exploring the mountain via Yungu cable way, originally a mountain temple. Photographers like to compare Huangshan mountain as a baby face who changes without reason. You will be stunned by the unique pine trees and various flora and fauna, oddly shaped stones and rocks instilled with interesting Chinese legendary stories, phantasmagoria sea of clouds, transparent and curable hot springs. In this day, you will hike to Beginning-to-believe Peak, Lion Peak and watch sunset either on Purple Peak or Cloud Dispelling Pavilion. If you are strong or energetic enough, you can trek at least two rings inside West Sea/Xihai Grand Canyon on your own.

Watch sunrise if the weather permits on your own on Refreshing Terrace(20-30 minutes walk from the hotel) or Purple Peak on Purple Peak(15-20 minutes walk from the hotel), and then after breakfast, we will continue to hike to White Goose Ridge to see the main three highest Peak on Huangshan Mountain.
Huangshan Hot Spring
After descending from the mountain top, you have an optional activity: either experience Huangshan natural hot springs in the valley or hike on your own in the bamboo forest and small waterfalls.

5.00Late Oct, 2006 Initial visit, up East (Yungu ) cableway to top of Huangshan for 3 days ,2 nights at Beihai Hotel. Hiked up & down steep mountainous terrain on East scenic side, Bright Summit, beautiful sunset, unique rock formations & sea of clouds that changes constantly. In Sept 2018, visited central-north areas - narrow cliff walks , along narrow mountain paths down into valley in West Sea Canyon; Save energy & took cableway up ( near Baiyun Hotel , 2 nights). Hiked Turtle Peak & some more of West scenic area. Yuping cableway down to Hot springs. Planning to revisit Oct / Nov 2020 to West Sea Canyon, Lotus Peak, Greeting Pine & nearby and Huangshan Hot Springs near bottom of Yuping cableway. Avoid visiting busy Chinese National holidays early Oct.
