THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE, OVERLOOKING THE MOST IMPRESSIVE VOLCANO IN GUATEMALA. VOLCANO DE FUEGO, YOU CAN ENJOY THE VIEWS TO THE OTHER VOLCANOES FROM THE HAND OF MAN LAS TINIEBLAS, AND DO THE TOUR OF THE CRY, LAUNCHING FROM A CULPILLO THAT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL BUTTERFLIES IN THE AIR.

In this wonderful place you will have the best viewpoint from the mountain to the wonderful city of ancient, you will be able to observe from up there the convents the churches the cobblestone streets, where you will also have a little history that the guide will give you so that you know not only the views if not much of the colonial city.

If you really want to ride an ATV down a normal road.

3.00Under 18 can’t drive the ATV. We had to pay an additional Q100.00 for park fees and parking fees per person. Not included in price of excursion. You could easily pay a taxi to do the exact same thing and just go on your own to see hobbitenango, etc. you don’t need a guide. The ATVs were used to drive on normal roads. No off-roading. The ATVs were old and underpowered. My front brake didn’t work.

5.00This was a wonderful experience. My guide was excellent and knowledgeable. He took many, many photos for me happily. Was able to adapt the itinerary as needed and was helpful in assisting me filing a report for a lost item (that allowed me to make an insurance claim). Very appreciative. Would recommend again.

1.00The only good part of this tour was our guide — super friendly, patient, knowledgeable and honestly he saved the experience from being a total disaster. Sadly, the ATVs were in awful condition. Mine kept shutting off while going uphill, which is extremely dangerous when cars and trucks are behind you on those narrow roads. After three incidents, they finally swapped my ATV, and the replacement was just as bad — stiff brakes, the whole thing shaking, uncomfortable to ride, like it was falling apart. When we returned, I mentioned the issues to the staff and the guy was very dismissive, saying “all bikes are like that” which clearly isn’t true — we saw other companies’ ATVs during the tour and theirs looked newer, safer and well-maintained, even the helmets were in better condition. He basically ignored me until I mentioned leaving a review, and suddenly we received a call offering us a free shuttle/excursion later. I refused — I wasn’t looking for freebies, just a safe experience. If you care about safety, comfort, and quality equipment, I would book with a different company. The guide deserves 5 stars, but the ATVs and customer service definitely don’t. Don’t take risks — there are better maintained options out there.
