The tour guide is the best. He explained things very well and took us to a variety of great places besides Mt Cook. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.

This was a perfect day trip. The scenery is exceptional and you are given plenty of time to take photos on the way and then to hike the trail. You also get the option to book a scenic flight or helicopter ride, which was a nice touch. Kelsey was an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable guide.

This trip was a great experience. The pick up was on time. The guide's microphone wasn't working in the morning, but he made his best effort to speak louder to be heard from the back of the van, and the company was able to switch vans while we were hiking, so the mic was working on our way back. Being in a small group was enjoyable, we were able to ask lots of questions to the guide, and learn to know fellow passengers. The first part of the road is a little bit twisty and can give motion sickness if you're sensitive, so prepare yourself. But the sights along the way are fabulous and really worth it. The hike from the Mt Cook base is 5 km one way and you get beautiful views of Mt Cook and its glacier. The hike trail ends with a panorama view on the montain and the melted snow lake at its base, still with big blocks of ice. Our guide gave us a lot of information during the hike. Overall, it's a 5 star experience!

Informative Tour Guide (Colin) and well prepared, provided us with very exceptional shoe spike cover to protect snow slips... along the way people were so amazed given our readiness to the hike!
