Spectacular scenery, plenty of stops to take pictures and stretch our legs. Our driver/guide, Franckie, was great - very friendly and knowledgeable. Snacks and lunch were quite tasty. The 12+ hours didn't seem that long with all that is included.

Our tour guide Diane was AWESOME! She was very cheerful, informational and accommodating to customer needs. The stops were perfectly planned to give us the right amount of exercise on this long trip. The countryside was beautiful and the climb to the glacier was an accomplishment. I definitely would recommend the tour experience to others.

I booked this tour on September 6, 2024. Our tour guide was great! (I'm sorry I didn't get your name!) You'll learn plenty of things about New Zealand during in this trip, and our tour guide was very helpful in answering my questions about getting around Christchurch and my many other questions about the country. She's very careful with our schedule and patient at the same time. The weather wasn't perfect, it was quite cloudy and rainy, but nonetheless the trip to Mt. Cook was amazing! Sadly there wasn't much time to hang around Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki, but I understand because we're in a pretty tight schedule and our main focus is the hike around Mt. Cook. There are plenty of sceneries whether as we drive by, or stop by for a quick bathroom break. Especially plenty of great views in the Hooker Valley Track! Also, something worth mentioning, Cheeky Kea's gave us snacks along the way which I greatly appreciate! We get a taste of a few local snacks as well as a sandwich, and other sweet treats from Fairlie's bakehouse! My only regret was that I wish I bought pies along with my cappuccino from Fairlies, a lot of people say the pies are really good! 😋 Thank you very much, Cheeky Kea tours for the amazing experience! I had a blast!

Views are breathtaking but the tour guide is misleading as he didn't explain clearly the end of hike we have a beautiful lake to check in but gives lots of info about how many people could not finish the hike. And that time is rush. Though it is partly not done enough homework, I wish the tour guide can be more professional in providing information. That's what we actually pay for!!!!
