We were a little apprehensive as never been on a helicopter before but it was amazing, you don’t appreciate the scale of the mountains and glaciers from the ground, we did the tour of 4 glaciers with 2 snow landings, our guide Mike was very good and pointed everything out to us and took photos along the way, a thoroughly enjoyable trip and would recommend to anyone

We couldn’t do the designated tour due to weather but the team was super helpful and we got another tour up another glacier. Friendly staff and wonderful views. Would highly recommend

Because of the weather forecast, we were able to fly one day before the scheduled date. 60 min, in the best weather! You only do this once in your life, with a flyby of Mount Cook and two landings

Everyone here was friendly and helpful. They contacted us about an early flight which we took since the weather didn’t look promising for the afternoon. They had to adjust our hour long flight to a shorter one because of the weather but told us we would get a partial refund. The views of all the glaciers and surrounding mountains were spectacular. A whole lot better than you could see from the ground. Well worth the $.

Our flight was reduced to the 45 minute Ultimate Discovery with 1 landing, refunding us for the difference. The flight in was beautiful with knowledgeable commentary from Mark. The landing spot was spectacular, with unbeatable views of the Southern Alps. My wife & I were assigned a window & middle seat, so they suggested we could swap seats on the return flight for both to experience the window. However, the return flight was direct back, so the window experience wasn’t nearly the same. We’ve done a few helicopter tours (Alaska & Hawaii), and this is the first there’s been middle seats, and where they’ve charged extra to sit in the front. While I don’t mind charging more to sit in the front, it would only be fair to also charge less for middle seats, as it’s a lesser experience than the windows. Otherwise, unforgettable experience.

Out of the world experience. One should not miss this even as it's an expensive one. The landing on the glacier and spending 10-15 minutes is unique.

Awesome, pilot Mike had to adapt the flight as the cloud base was coming in over Mt Cook, but still the flight was awe inspiring, so surreal everything seemed to slow down, felt like you could reach out and touch the mountains. Snow landings are magical. Best adrenaline feeling every , Wife still can't believe she did the flight.

Fantastic way to see the glaciers, Aoraki / Mount Cook and surrounds. From check-in to return, the ground crew and our pilot Mike made it a thoroughly enjoyable way to see New Zealand’s stunning alpine region.

Amazing views going over the mountains and seeing 4 glaciers and landing on 2. It was a quick and easy way to check out the glaciers. We felt safe.

Avoid at all costs - they will steal your money! Choose helicopter line! Entered the office in Franz Josef and the “manager” ( girl with terrible haircut, tattoos and lazy eye ) when asked can we book a helicopter flight answered “you can if you want” After receiving passive aggressive “customer service” our name was placed on a spot and told no charge to would be placed on the cc provided - it wasn’t an actually booking as it was pending weather A WhatsApp message was sent before a time slot and we said were essentially charged $1,200 and didn’t get on the actual flight because we missed checkin When we went to their office to try get on the flight, there were other customers on their way to the helicopter which we could have joined… When we tried to have a conversation as to why this was wrong, the “manager” did nothing but talk over us Chose another flight operator ( Helicopter Line) in town which have been nothing but pleasant to deal with - in comparison they don’t even take your card details in case the flight route changes and they charge you when you get back from you’re helicopter flight The credit card company will take care of it…
