Absolutely excellent tour with our tour guide, Kazu. A bad tour guide can ruin a tour or take away from a long anticipated & expensive vacation. Not this one!! Kazu MADE this bucket-list visit to Mt. Fuji one of the best guided tours I’ve ever experienced!! He was very funny as he shared a lot of knowledge about what were were seeing. Worth every penny. The authentic Japanese brunch was delicious and fresh. It was a very full day! Be sure to pack an extra layer like a thin jacket/wind breaker as the mountain can be chilly. Plan on being wowed on each of the 3 parts of this tour.

We were really lucky to see Mt. Fuji clearly and from several vantage points (bus, 5th station, ninja garden, and Lake Ashi). Sora did a great job leading the tour and kept us on track from stop to stop. The tour was packed with stops (worth it) so it does feel rushed at times, but that’s because everything is quite far apart. The tour is definitely worth the money because of how much you see and it’s a great break from logistics if you’ve been navigating Japan for a few days - weeks.

No guarantee that you will see Mt Fuji. All depends on the weather. The trip is well worth doing regardless. Meg, our guide, was a little pocket rocket. Her English was good, she was entertaining & very well organised. 10/10.

From beginning to end Kazu was engaging, informative and as funny as heck. This full day tour is well worth the money AND even more so because of the interesting history Kazu shared along with some local customs, and quick Japanese lessons sprinkled in. Not sure why the cable-car ride was a surprise to me for whatever reason but I'm so glad I didn't chicken-out like it wanted to. The relaxing pirate ship ride on the lake was great to gulp sweet fresh air after the not so delicious odors of the Sulphur mines. Everything was well pre-organized, and, efficiently executed by our Guide; assigned seats on the bus; letting us know what was happening next; upcoming bathroom opportunities; he assisted in serving the group a delicious assortment of authentic Japanese food for our included brunch; he helped take once-in-a-lifetime photos; he even walked the bus to do 2 trash pick ups! This tour company is lucky to have an employee who obviously loves what he does-- and does it well.

I’ve booked over 20 tours in numerous countries. I had heard mixed reviews on the Mt Fuji tour but I was pleasantly surprised - weather cooperated but the tour was great due in part to our tour guide that was very informative, excited and funny. If you book ask for Tour guide Tsubasa. 5 stars. Great views!
