The order of the tour itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions or other reasons.

Depending on road conditions, the tour will be guided to Mt. Fuji 4th Station or 5th Station. If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, the tour will visit Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park or Fujisan World Heritage Center. [Important Notes: Mt. Fuji Visitable Location & Timing Estimate] The best time to visit to reach the 5th Station is typically from late April to around November, but in winter (December to early April), it cannot be reached on most days due to reasons such as snowfall and road surface freezing.

Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.

If the Lake Ashi cruise or Komagatake Ropeway cannot be boarded (when not visitable due to suspension of operation, road congestion, or conditions at other sightseeing areas), the tour will be guided to one of the following alternative destinations. (The tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued for this reason.) Appare Sightseeing Boat on Lake Kawaguchi, Swan Lake Cruise Ship on Lake Yamanaka, Hakone Pirate Ship, Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Hakone Ropeway, Hakone Jukkokutoge Panoramic Cable Car, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Fujiyama Museum, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone-en Aquarium, Ninja Bus, Oshino Shinobi no Sato, Hakone Checkpoint, Odawara Castle, Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, Higashiguchi Hongu Sengen Shrine, Oshino Hakkai, Hakone Shrine, Hakone Sekisho Tabimonogatarikan (Shop), etc.

Depending on the season and day of the week, traffic conditions may vary, and arrival time at each location may be considerably delayed. Thank you for your understanding.

Customers who are late for the departure time will have their reservations canceled. Please give yourself plenty of time.

Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats or lunch. If bus seats or lunch is required, please make a booking under the child rate.

[For with Lunch option] When booking, please indicate the number of customers requesting Vegetarian meals, Muslim-friendly meals, or Indian Thali meals.

Vegetarian meals: Japanese style vegetarian dishes.

Muslim-friendly Meals: Menu that does not use pork or alcohol will be provided. Please note that these are not halal certified.

Indian Thali Meals: Vegetarian menu that does not use meat and fish will be served.

Allergy-friendly meals, gluten-free meals, etc. are not available. Customers with allergies and those that would like gluten-free meals should reserve the tour without lunch included.

[For No Lunch option] Meals are not included. Please prepare lunch in advance on your own. There are no cafes, restaurants, or other places to have lunch near the lunch break area. Preparing this prior to departure is recommended.

During the lunch break, there will be a Wadaiko "Japanese drum" performance, one of Japan's traditional arts performed by the Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai. Please note that the tour may not be able to view the performance in case arrival is considerably delayed due to road conditions, or the tour is unable to reach the intended meal venue. Furthermore, depending on the circumstances of the facility, the performance may be canceled without prior notice. It has been attracting attention both domestically and internationally as a support for social independence training and artistic activities. By sending customers, Sunrise Tours can create performance opportunities and support their activities.

[Multilingual audio-guide available only for Shinjuku departure] GPS-enabled audio guides in Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Thai, French, and Indonesian may be used while on board a dedicated vehicle. Please select your tour language at the time of reservation. Same-day requests are not accepted. There are a limited number of audio guides available, so it may not be possible to provide one for each participant. Also, no refunds will be issued even if the audio guide is unusable due to weak signal, device issues, Wi-Fi malfunction, etc. Furthermore, they may be unusable if there are changes to the itinerary.

Depending on the number of tour participants, transportation to be used may be other than a large bus (mid-size bus, small bus, hired car, etc.).

As there are locations to be visited on this tour such as Mt. Fuji 5th Station, etc. with lower temperatures compared to Tokyo, bringing warm clothing is recommended. (Reference: Even in the daytime, temperatures may drop to 14℃ in summer and -5℃ in winter.)

It will not be possible to bring large luggage whose total height, width, and length exceeds 160 cm onto non-reserved cars of the Shinkansen. If bringing large luggage, please make use of a delivery service on your own. Also the return bullet train is not a designated seat.

On the day when the annual Mt. Fuji Hill Climb is held, which is usually on a weekend in June (schedule for 2025 onwards TBD), the Fuji Subaru Line is closed until around 14:00. The tour will proceed on this day as well. Please note that there will be changes to the itinerary order and sightseeing locations, and the Komagatake Ropeway and Lake Ashi cruise may be changed to alternative itineraries. Furthermore, please note that refunds will not be issued in this case, and customers will not be notified separately when the schedule has been determined.

Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour.

This is a carbon offset product where a portion of the tour booking charge is spent on renewable energy. By converting CO2 emissions during the tour to green energy, it's possible to contribute to activities protecting the planet's future.

[Important Notice: Komagatake Ropeway Closure] Komagatake Ropeway will be closed for maintenance from January 14 to March 4, 2025. During this period, tours will visit an alternative site

This experience was exactly as advertised. The lunch was great and offered vegetarian options. Our tour guide Hiro was exceptional!! We got to see Mt Fuji, but we were prepared in case clouds covered the mountain, our tour guide Hiro prepared us. Also the cable car ride was shut down due to wind, so we went to an aquarium instead. The overall trip was perfect.

  • Great itinerary, but tour guide was too soft spoken.

Loved the itinerary. Great variety. Just remember that weather can be fickle, and as was said many times on our visit to Japan,” Mt. Fuji is shy.” Loved the lunch and the drum show. Our only complaint was that the tour guide was very soft spoken, and despite requests to increase the speaker volume on the bus, he never did speak at a level that was easily audible. If there were any conversations in the seats around us, it was completely impossible to hear the tour guide. He gave out a lot of interesting information that was unfortunately lost because he did not speak at a volume that could be heard by the passengers on the bus.

Well organized tour. Our tour guide, Toshi, was great giving us plenty of information along the way. The bus to Mt. Fuji was very confortable and we enjoyed incredible views and a great experience riding the Shinkansen (bullet train) back to Tokyo.

We could only go to the fourth station because of new snow at the fifth. The view from there was underwhelming. Fortunately we got some good views from the bus on the way there. Should have been a viewing stop on the way. Cruise and ropeway were cancelled due to high winds. Very disappointing. Drum show was good.

  • Wonderful guide but bad tour end point

The tour was good and the tour guide for group 2 was WONDERFUL. The reason why we gave it a 3-star was big issue on where the tour ended. It started at Keio Plaza Hotel in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo but ended at Tokyo Station because the last part of the tour was on the train which saved us a couple of hours due to traffic. That was good. I wasn't concerned about ending at Tokyo station because i figured we could just take the metro back to our hotel which was next to the Shinjuku station. We have taken the metro in many cities but we didn't realize how huge and confusing these Tokyo stations were. Our wonderful guide said she was going home and getting off at Shinjuku station but couldn't guarantee what we wouldn't get separated in these large stations, which we TOTALLY understood. We decided to take a taxi and she walked us to the taxi stand.
