Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine
Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, also known as Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō) is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine's main buildings. The location offers spectacular views of Mount Fuji in combination with the pagoda. The spot is particularly popular among photographers as it allows for some wonderfully stereotypical shots of Japan.

5.00The trip was good, especially since we were with friends. Asi, our guide and driver was great. He gave us an itinerary and it was up to us to agree or not. Example: we asked about seeing the Ropeway. Asi took us there but the line was so long. Asi gave us an alternative…we rode a motor boat in the lake, which was a lot of fun.

5.00There were five of us on this tour and had a wonderful time. Asi offered us many different options and each one were great. The ride was comfortable and restful. He provided great information on all places we visited. All in all Asi is a wnoderful and knowledgeable guide. He will be recommended if anyone needs a personal tour.

5.00We booked a private driver named Utah for a Mt. Fuji day trip and WOW — what an incredible experience! Utah was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He made the whole day effortless and fun. He took us to the best viewing spots (including some hidden gems you definitely wouldn't find on your own), gave us plenty of time for photos, and even helped us choose a great local lunch spot. His car was spotless and super comfortable, and we never felt rushed — the whole day just flowed perfectly. If you’re visiting Japan and want to enjoy Mt. Fuji stress-free, do yourself a favor and book Utah. Easily one of our favorite days of the trip!

5.00We had a great day trip to the Mt. Fuji area with Asi as our driver! He made great recommendations for stops with great views of Mt. Fuji. Although there was traffic, we still made the most out of the stops that we were able to make it to. I highly recommend Asi as he is knowledgeable, very accommodating, and was very patient with us while we took in all the sights!

5.00We had a wonderful day trip to Mt Fuji with Alex! He was very thoughtful, making sure the destinations would suit our family needs and wants. Our two boys can be a lot to handle, but they loved Alex and his fun personality. The private vehicle was so comfortable, and even with the traffic, we were able to stop when needed. He knew awesome places to take us so that we’d have a memorable experience, and it was. Highly recommended this to anyone!

5.00A great tour experience! We were so lucky to visit Mount Fuji on a clear and beautiful autumn day just as the leaves were turning yellow and red. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Our driver, Caffrey, was incredibly kind and accommodating. He patiently adjusted the itinerary to fit our requests, including a quick stop at the famous Lawson view. He also shared interesting local insights along the way, which made the trip even more enjoyable and insightful. It was also easy to coordinate with the responsive organizers before the tour itself. Everything was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. We truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend this tour.
