Our accent to Mount Pilatus will take us aboard the iconic “dragon ride” aerial cable cart, where we will float back to earth suspended in a giant glass cabin. The windowed walls provide 360 views of the Lucerne region, and many compare the experience to flying. Guide was good but trip was underwhelming especially that train down is closed in December. We did not understand it from product info as train is featured on all photos etc. I think they should have separate products as its confusing. We also had to take private bus and needed to buy tickets for it. It felt bad.

Trip cancelled 1 hr before departure as we stood on train platform so have no feedback to offer on the experience. Stated it was due to weather on mountain. Disappointing given it was our only full day in Lucerne.

If I could give any lower a score then I would. We waited one solid hour for a guide that never showed up. There were six of us standing there and 4 of us were together. We paid a very large amount for this tour and were stood up. When Viator was notified, they said the tour had already left. Well they didn't show up where they were supposed to be. We were there 30 minutes early so we could not have missed them. The tourism office said this happens a lot. So do not book through this company!! Absolutely terrible!!
