2+ hour drive from Seattle. Didn’t get to see much because of weather. Most of park closed. Tour was well organized and guide very helpful.

This was the number one thing I was looking forward to in Seattle but boy was I disappointed. The weather on our tour day was not optimal, it had been snowing during the night and the government was on shut down so it was unclear if we could even reach the park. This should have been enough of a reason for the tour operator to cancel the trip but they went ahead with it. We went in an old bus, stopping by at a store on the way. When we reached Mount Rainier the top part was closed so we had some time to explore the bottom part. I was pretty though it was terribly cold. When we came back to the bus we were notified that the remainder of the park will be closed and we are heading back to Seattle. We spent more time on restroom and store breaks during the trip than in the actual mountain area. This could not have been the first time that the top part is closed due to weather so there should be an alternate plan! Why we could not just stay in the area that was open, this is still a mystery to me. But for the amount of money we spent and what we got, definitely do not recommend to anyone! We were supposed to be back in Seattle around 7PM but we were back already at 3PM. And no compensation was offered. Super unprofessional!

It was an amazing experience, from the beginning to the end. Our guide Erika was so attentive, and she was extremely helpful. We got hot chocolate, donuts, coffee, fruit and most importantly, we enjoyed so much the beauty of Mount Rainier.

From booking the tour to the tour itself, the experience was incredible. I can’t recall who we spoke to on the phone but she answered all of our questions and provided great tips. Erika, our tour guide, was absolutely awesome. We went to Mt Ranier a rainy day so she planned the stops based on the weather pattern so that we can experience everything to its fullest. She was sweet, funny and super informative.

Our guide Andreas was knowledgeable. His command of the national park geography, history and topography was impressive and inspired us to go to another park. On the return drive he spent time providing in-depth information on the Seattle experience.

A wonderful exposition of the glorious Mt Rainier National Park. The tour guide, John, was warm, knowledgeable and funny. The tour was long but provided the right balance of guided experiences and self-discovery. An inspiring day's outing.

Waste of money and misadvertised. Didn’t see any of Mt Rainier itself due to the government shutdown. We barely entered the national park (only 10mins into it) so saw 1 of the 6 points on the list, but as the gates to Paradise at Longmire were closed we couldn’t go further. WAS NOT made aware of this risk despite the fact the company is fully aware. The company refund policy (“no”) gives the company a bad name. Gobsmacked they claimed we were given ample chance to back out and also cannot believe they are standing behind their vague messaging. Come back in May 2026 if you still want to do this tour.
