The season will determine the route and accessibility of your tour! In the summer, experience old-growth forests, wildflower-filled meadows, and thundering waterfalls on this tour of glacier-clad Mt. Rainier. Winter tours spend more time at Longmire with complimentary snow shoes. Hike and walk a little or not at all: there are options for all abilities. Enjoy lunch at a Mt. Rainier cafe or buy a picnic lunch along the way. No two tours are the same! Your guide will provide the best tour available on any given day.
Return to Seattle through memorable PNW scenery. Bring a camera on this spectacular Mt. Rainier tour as well as comfortable walking shoes. Layer both warm and cool weather clothing as mountain temperatures can vary from rainy and cold to sunny and hot during a single day.

The seasons and weather play a big role in what is available and accessible at Mt Rainier National Park. Tours mid-October through early May will be limited in number of stops & services available.

What To Expect
Mount Rainier
No 2 tours are the same! Our goal each day is to showcase as much of the national park as possible during our time in the park. Routes and stops look different depending on the season.
Longmire
Longmire, home to the original park headquarters & more recently, the National Park Inn, Longmire museum & Wilderness Information Center, is a popular stop on all tours. Opportunity for restrooms, short hikes & photos here.

5.00Amazing experience from the get go. John was very courteous, knowledgeable and funny. He has a great balance of commentary, comedy and some down time. The sights we saw were amazing. John ensured we saw all the great things Mount Rainier has to offer. The weather was gorgeous and we’d highly recommend this tour to anyone! Thank you John!

5.00This was an amazing tour! Andreas was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide. We made several stops in the park and were able to hike/walk in a lot of different areas. We went to Grove of Patriarchs, Paradise and the Skyline Trail, went to down to the Nisqually River, Narada Falls, Longmire, Trail of the Shadows... I'm not even sure that was all but it's what I can for sure recall! The ride was comfortable and tour bus was clean. Water was provided for guests, which was nice. We did stop at a grocery store, about an hour into the trip, so people could use the restroom and purchase lunch or snacks if they wanted. This was really convenient. Overall this was an amazing trip and I definitely recommend anybody visiting in the area that wants to be sure to get a national park visit in, to do it this way!

5.00This tour was amazing! Andreas our tour guide was great! He was very knowledgeable about the park and Seattle. The tour itself was excellent, had so many great stops, luckily got such a clear day it was beautiful. Did a few little hikes and some snowshoeing which was so fun! Hiking shoes were helpful it got a little rocky/muddy.

4.00Mount Rainier in May still feels like winter, without the alpine meadows and wildflowers. I’m very glad I chose this one-day tour. The meeting point was right next to my hotel, only about a 5-minute walk away.Our guide took us on several trails where we saw snowy mountains and waterfalls. Snowshoes and trekking poles were also provided. At Narada Falls, part of the trail was still covered with ice and snow and was very slippery, so the trekking poles were extremely helpful.For visitors, this kind of tour is very convenient and relaxing since you don’t need to plan the itinerary yourself. I would definitely recommend it. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. If not for the seasonal conditions, I would have given it five stars.

5.00Worth while experience. Had an amazing day at Mount rainer, the guide John was excellent and helped us with all the requirements. He has amazing knowledge of the place and kept telling us interesting facts. Enough stops were provided for refills and restrooms. Totally enjoyed the day.
