Jvari Monastery
This trip is an opportunity to see four important locations in one day. Let’s start with the ancient capital – Mtskheta , where the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is located – one of the main spiritual places of Georgia. And on the top of the mountain, opposite, rises the Jvari Monastery – from where a picturesque view of the confluence of two rivers and the city opens up. Next we go to Gori , the hometown of Joseph Stalin. There we will visit the Stalin Museum , founded during his lifetime in 1937. The exhibition includes documents, personal belongings and artifacts telling about his life and era. We finish the day in Uplistsikhe , a unique rock-cut city that began to form in the 6th century BC. Here you can see ancient temples, halls, secret passages, wine cellars and even a water supply system. And the surrounding landscapes are a separate pleasure. This journey is filled with history, religion, architecture and views that will stay in your memory for a long time.

We traveled with Georgian Travel for a few days coveting Mtskheta-gori . It was a wonderful experience. Giorgi is a punctual and responsible person (unlike what people often think of Georgians), which makes it easy to plan and execute the trip. He is always ready to accommodate your wishes and sudden change of plans. He is an excellent driver with a relaxed style, whether it was in the center of Tbilisi or high in the mountains, so that I wasn't sweating even when on the front seat. I wholeheartedly recommend him as your guide in Georgia.

Guide George had a very good tour, told us everything interestingly, didn't overload with information. They asked us to stop at the travertines, our request was taken into account. The perfect ending was dinner at the restaurant. We'll definitely take another tour.

Here’s a short version: Gori and Mtskheta were amazing to visit! Gori has a warm, friendly atmosphere with interesting historical sites and great food. Mtskheta, with its stunning churches and beautiful views, feels truly magical. Both cities are full of culture and charm—definitely worth visiting! 🇬🇪✨

A great trip full of history and beautiful views. Mtskheta is calm and charming, with its old streets and riverside scenery. Jvari Monastery offers one of the best panoramic views in Georgia. Gori adds an interesting look into the country’s past, especially with its fortress and nearby Uplistsikhe. Overall, a short but very memorable route.❤️❤️😍
