  Can’t recommend Mubus’s Mutianyu tour enough! A day prior, we received a clear notice, and the meeting place was ideal—next to breakfast stalls and small shops, so we grabbed hot food and warmed up easily before departure. Our guide John was perfect: he was patient with all our questions, attentive on the bus, and his passion for the Great Wall made his stories so engaging. The Wall was awe-inspiring, winding over the mountains with incredible panoramic views, and we had 5 hours free time to wander and take photos. The Mubus buffet was a great bonus, with a wide variety of delicious, fresh dishes, and the whole tour was seamless from start to finish. The ride was smooth, it’s unbeatable value, and John made this trip truly memorable.

  Mubus is truly one of the best in the business. Very thoughtful service with some lovely free gifts along the way. Special thanks to Mike — energetic, friendly, and incredibly helpful tour guide. He even helped us book tickets for the West Side and saved us from standing in long queues. Highly recommended!

• Fuss-free, best first time to the Great Wall

  It was a fantastic experience. I did not imagine that it would be so easy to book the bus to the Great Wall. I managed to book it in just one hour before the bus left. Mr. Mike, our tour guide was very helpful and charismatic with how to navigate the wall to get best experience. From towers 6 to 1 and towers 14 to 20, it only about 2.5 hours. Mr. Mike's advice was effective like buying a beer before climbing hero slope to save money. MuBus made the whole trip fuss free as every admission fee was indicated and explained easily too. Will definitely recommend this service to everyone I know coming to Beijing.

  22.January.2026 a perfect winter day for the Wall. The sky was a cloudless, brilliant blue, offering stunning contrast to the ancient stone. It was bitterly cold, around -2°C, with a sharp wind that demanded serious thermal layers, gloves, and a hat. However, the cold kept the crowds away and made the air incredibly clear, granting us unobstructed, breathtaking panoramic views. The sunlight on the snow-dusted crenellations was magical. 9/10 for photography and atmosphere, but come prepared. Tianluyu Great Wall View: Spectacular. This less-commercialized section was beautifully rugged and serene. The hike was moderately challenging, especially in the cold, but the reward was a sense of having the Wall almost to ourselves. The vistas of the snaking wall over rolling, frosty mountains were genuinely awe-inspiring and worth every step. Tour Guide Service (Mike): Mike was the cornerstone of an excellent trip. His historical knowledge brought the silent stones to life with vivid stories. He masterfully managed the winter conditions, setting a safe, sustainable pace and timing our walk for optimal light and warmth. His foresight in recommending gear and providing hot tea from his pack was a lifesaver. Friendly, professional, and passionate, Mike ensured our visit was not only informative but truly unforgettable. Overall: A flawless winter adventure. Harsh but beautiful weather, an iconic and peaceful location, and a top-tier guide in Mike. Highly recommended.

  I joined a tour recently where our guide, Mr. Mike, gave a fantastic introduction on the bus. He explained the history of the region in a way that was clear, engaging, and surprisingly fun for so early in the morning. The trip itself was very well organized. I decided to push myself and climb all the way up to Tower 20. It was definitely crowded and quite a challenge, but reaching it felt like a personal victory I took the slide down on the east side. That part I wouldn’t really recommend — a lot of people stop suddenly, there’s hardly any speed, and it’s more stressful than enjoyable. If you’re considering it, I’d say skip it. Lunch provided by the company was excellent. Very complete, generous, and much better than I expected from a group tour. Overall, a great day. Mr. Mike’s explanations, the impressive views, and the well-arranged schedule really made the experience worthwhile.

  Had a wonderful trip to Mutianyu Great Wall with Mubus. Bus arrived on time and safely drove us back and forth. I was with my wife & baby and they voluntarily helped us to carry the stroller before we went to the cable way. The buffet was tasty and there were lots of variety. Mr. Mike the guide was also very insightful, friendly, and fun to be around with. Overall, definitely an excellent and. recommended servicess

  This tour of the city was very lucky to meet guide Mike, the whole trip experience far exceeded expectations. Mike is very clear about the historical background, architectural characteristics and differences in each section of the city, and explains that it is not boring to live, so that we can truly "go into history" while climbing the city. The schedule is also very careful, it will adjust the pace according to the staff's physical strength and needs, promptly remind the shooting point and rest time, there will be no pressure from the rush. Mike cares very much about everyone’s condition along the way, making people feel comfortable. In addition, Mike's Chinese language is clear, friendly, communicate without barriers, and is happy to answer all kinds of questions, making the whole trip professional and enjoyable. If you want to take a trip not just to take photos, but to really get to know the city and have a comfortable trip, I really recommend Mike as a guide!
