Mutianyu is one of the most picturesque wall sections. It has been fully restored, so you are able to get a great idea how it looked in ancient times. The surrounding countryside is also famous for its fragrant pines and cypress trees.
Also you can add on Summer Palace to your tour by selecting"Upgarde Summer Palace Bus Tour" option.
Upgrade to unwind with an authentic local buffet lunch before riding the bus back to Beijing.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
MuBus is a shuttle service to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, offering two daily departures at 8:00am and 10:00am. By taking the MuBus, you can benefit from no-reservation entry and no-fee shuttle tickets within the scenic area. You will have 4-5 hours ample time to tour the Great Wall. Additionally, the Mubus Tourist Center will offer you complimentary rest areas, tea, snacks, and luggage storage, ensuring a high-quality travel experience.

5.00Highly recommend the tour. Our tour guide was Mike. He was very knowledgable and direct. Spoke great English! On the way to The Great Wall Mike gave us a lecture about the history and made sure that everything was going smoothly on our tour. He made the trip really convienient and exciting!

5.00I went for the summer palace and mutianyu Great Wall, which were great places to visit for first timers to Beijing. The places were a little far out from the city so I recommend doing a tour with Mubus. Cici was a great guide whom shared the vast histories to the place of visit. I underestimated the time required to reach the meet up location, and ended up slightly late and Cici had patiently waited for me. Side note, be prepared for morning traffic jams if you are taking didi to the meet up location. Overall it was a good trip that had enriched my knowledge of the places’ histories, and experienced the magnificent sceneries and unforgiving steps of the Great Wall of China!

5.00We had a very cool experience visiting the Great Wall and overall really enjoyed the trip. A special thank you to Mike, our guide, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day run smoothly. He shared interesting information throughout the tour and was always happy to answer questions. The only downside was that there were some additional costs that we weren’t aware of beforehand, which would have been helpful to know in advance. Aside from that, the experience was well organised and memorable. Overall, a fantastic day at one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, and Mike’s excellent guiding made it even better.
Best travel companion "ever" ... thank you very much, Mike.

5.00This tour was fantastic. We had a wonderful time at all locations, definitely worth the early morning start! Our tour guide Cici was brilliant, so kind and sweet, very knowledgable about each place and very helpful in booking the extras for the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. There are the extra costs of the transport options at the palace and wall but are worth it and make the experience even better. The buffet lunch was a good addition before/after the wall, lots of choices and inclusive of allergies and food requirements. Ample time was given at each place to explore and take in all the amazing views. Picking this tour with their itinerary was a great option, Mutianyu was quite quiet especially for it being the summer time. Would definitely recommend this tour, already have to friends!

She not only provided us with dedicated timelines, but she went above and beyond to find tour group members who had lost their way during the tour. In China, that’s not easy! Always helpful and supportive, we could not have asked for a better tour guide and experience with Mubus. You won’t regret taking this tour and hopefully you get Cici to guide you!
