Mutianyu is one of the most picturesque wall sections. It has been fully restored, so you are able to get a great idea how it looked in ancient times. The surrounding countryside is also famous for its fragrant pines and cypress trees.
Also you can add on Summer Palace to your tour by selecting"Upgarde Summer Palace Bus Tour" option.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
MuBus is a shuttle service to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, offering two daily departures at 8:00am and 10:00am. By taking the MuBus, you can benefit from no-reservation entry and no-fee shuttle tickets within the scenic area. You will have 4-5 hours ample time to tour the Great Wall. Additionally, the Mubus Tourist Center will offer you complimentary rest areas, tea, snacks, and luggage storage, ensuring a high-quality travel experience.

5.00An amazing experience for the entire family! Our guide, Mr. Mike, shared a lot of useful historical information about China and the Great Wall. We learned a lot! Also Mr. Mike shared good tips for an optimal visit. We went to the west side of the wall, took the gondola and managed to walk to the last tower (23) and back to (14) in about 3 hours. Going beyond tower 19 was a bit strenuous but worthed the effort: scenic views and very few people. The buffet lunch was very diversified and tasty!

5.00Mike was an amazing tour guide. He is very passionate and his storytelling along the way really hyped us up and got us excited to see the wall. He made our day even more special. 5.00The experience was fantastic, not only was the great wall in itself a fantastic place to see and visit. What made it even more special was how well everything was organized, from the detailed communication the day before to seamless entry to the area as the tickets were pre-purchased. Our guide Cici even gave an incredible overview about the history of the great wall during our bus ride which made it all the more impressive. She then even offered to purchase the cable tickets on the bus so we didn’t have to queue.

5.00We started the tour by meeting our guide Mike who spoke very good English and was lovely. He was informative and explained loads of history behind The Great Wall, as well as explaining the different routes. The tour allowed plenty of time to see everything as well as plenty of time for lunch, which was a great spread of traditional and western food! I would highly recommend!

5.00Great experience with our tour leader, Mike, for the Mutianyu Great Wall tour. He was very funny, engaging and did a great job keeping us organized with instructions and on schedule. The tour allowed for adequate time to hike both the East and West sections of the Wall and grab the buffet lunch following. Mike’s focus on safety and fun for the group were much appreciated. He’s also a great photographer :) - we will have lifetime memories from this experience. Thank you to Mike and Mubus!

5.00Our trip with guide John was absolutely fantastic! We started bright and early with the Great Wall. The cable car was quick and time-saving, and the sunny weather with great visibility made the wall look extremely magnificent. The General Platform felt especially grand and solemn. After a satisfying buffet lunch, we headed to the Summer Palace in the afternoon. The crowd here was pleasantly light, and we were thrilled to take the boat tour. John’s vivid stories about the palace’s history and royal life made the cruise incredibly interesting. We also appreciated the comfortable bus service and the relaxing waiting lounge with free tea, water, and snacks. John’s professional guidance made this tour truly unforgettable!
