Mutianyu is one of the most picturesque wall sections. It has been fully restored, so you are able to get a great idea how it looked in ancient times. The surrounding countryside is also famous for its fragrant pines and cypress trees.
Also you can add on Summer Palace to your tour by selecting"Upgarde Summer Palace Bus Tour" option.
Upgrade to unwind with an authentic local buffet lunch before riding the bus back to Beijing.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
MuBus is a shuttle service to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, offering two daily departures at 8:00am and 10:00am. By taking the MuBus, you can benefit from no-reservation entry and no-fee shuttle tickets within the scenic area. You will have 4-5 hours ample time to tour the Great Wall. Additionally, the Mubus Tourist Center will offer you complimentary rest areas, tea, snacks, and luggage storage, ensuring a high-quality travel experience.

5.00Mr mike started with a great history lesson in the clean bus to get us ready for the wall. He provided us with clear instructions to give us an amazing experience. The weather was great even though its the beginning of februari. Also the starting point was very reachable for the bus. Would definitely recommend.

5.00Good tour to visit the Great Wall. The guide, Mr Mike, is very nice and always willing to help. The tour included bus rides, lunch, cool souvenirs. There were also many cats around, they definitely bright up the path and landscape. Once you are done walking along the Great Wall you can ride down the slides from the east side, it’s super fun! Great experience!

5.00Perfect Winter Day at Mutianyu with Mubus! Today the four of us joined a tour with Mubus led by the fantastic Mr. Mike, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. First — the February weather was absolutely perfect. Not freezing, not windy — just crisp and comfortable. Two layers were all we needed, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. From the start, the tour felt friendly, welcoming, and well-organized. The bus arrived right on time, was spotless, and the ride was smooth and relaxing. You could immediately tell this was a professional operation. We reached Mutianyu around noon and were pleasantly surprised by a delicious, authentic buffet lunch — flavorful, fresh, and exactly what we needed before the climb. Taking the cable car up to Tower 14 was both exciting and scenic. We explored the west side of the Wall — yes, parts were challenging (especially for the kids!), but every step was worth it. The views were breathtaking, and the sense of history all around you is something photos simply can’t capture. Mr. Mike kept the energy high with helpful tips, great timing, and a warm, engaging presence that made the whole day feel effortless.

5.00We all had a great time on this Great Wall of China trip under Mr. Mike’s guidance, which was really helpful and got us through everything there was. We had an extensive introduction to our tour goal, and it was easy to navigate both routes thanks to prior instructions and a map provided by our guide. We spent several hours on site, and we’ve seen a lot of memorable views, and the weather was perfect, as well as the crowd, which was minimal compared to usual one, and the same applies to the waiting times. The hike itself was pretty challenging, yet suited for everyone, whether you want some exercise or just discover the most famous wall in the world. The price of the tour is affordable, and it surprises you with how much it offers, and staff is there to help you through the several hours of the trip, making it one of the best ways to admire and enjoy the Great Wall of China.
