Mutianyu is one of the most picturesque wall sections. It has been fully restored, so you are able to get a great idea how it looked in ancient times. The surrounding countryside is also famous for its fragrant pines and cypress trees.
Also you can add on Summer Palace to your tour by selecting"Upgarde Summer Palace Bus Tour" option.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
MuBus is a shuttle service to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, offering two daily departures at 8:00am and 10:00am. By taking the MuBus, you can benefit from no-reservation entry and no-fee shuttle tickets within the scenic area. You will have 4-5 hours ample time to tour the Great Wall. Additionally, the Mubus Tourist Center will offer you complimentary rest areas, tea, snacks, and luggage storage, ensuring a high-quality travel experience.

5.00The Great Wall is even more magnificent than I expected. On this beautiful sunny day, it looks endless and truly breathtaking. I was deeply shocked by its size and beauty, and I really cannot believe how ancient people built this great project. Our whole journey today was well-organized and perfect. Our guide John made this tour so special. During the bus ride, he told us wonderful stories and history of the Great Wall, including the building features of different dynasties. He was very helpful and bought cable car and slide tickets for us. He also took lovely group photos. John is kind, patient and very professional. This was one of my best trips ever, and I truly recommend it to all travelers.

5.00Great experience with Mubus & Mike the tour guide, they made the process quite easy and clear. There's a lot of options once you get to the great wall but they've simplified it and helped streamline it to make the experience enjoyable.

5.00Many thanks, I can’t say enough good things about our Mutianyu Great Wall tour with Mubus. The weather was beautifully warm, and we could feel spring all around us. We left Dongzhimen at 10:00 by Mubus, and the whole trip was well-arranged. We enjoyed the eastern section and the exciting slide first. Then we walked to the western part and reached Tower 20, enjoying the amazing view. The Great Wall is truly spectacular. Guide Amelia was professional and thoughtful. Her explanations were clear, and her English was fluent. She helped us get cable car tickets easily, which was very helpful. I fully recommend Mubus to everyone.

5.00A soft breeze blew in the morning, bringing a pleasant coolness. The sky was a brilliant blue, the air was wonderfully fresh, and visibility was perfect. giving us bright, clear views all around. We really appreciated that the cable car, chairlift, and toboggan were all operating smoothly with no long waits, which let us make the most of our time on the wall. Our guide John was incredibly knowledgeable, and his historical commentary was both educational and engaging. He explained the history of the Mutianyu section in great detail, helping us appreciate the effort and wisdom behind this amazing landmark. Every part of the trip was carefully arranged, from the transportation to the free exploration time. It was a peaceful, respectful, and unforgettable experience that we will cherish for a long time.

5.00It was amazing day! I met the tour group easily at Exit B of the subway in the morning. John and his colleagues, wearing a red vest, received me with great enthusiasm. The weather was lovely with a beautiful blue sky. The Great Wall was so grand and spectacular that I was truly shocked. John helped us purchase tickets for the cable car and toboggan on the way to the Greatwall . He explained the long history of the Great Wall in detail. The waiting area was cozy and clean, with free tea provided. Everything was well arranged. I really enjoyed this comfortable and meaningful tour.

5.00The Great Wall Mutianyu tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish! On the bus ride to the Great Wall, our guide Mr. Mike gave a great summary of China's history and shared what the Great wall means to this resilient and beautiful country. He keeps you fully engaged with his great sense of humor that the bus ride seemed more like 30 min instead of 1.5 hours. His instructions for the day were very thorough, which made navigating the wall very easy. I highly recommend the lunch package when booking and the cable car/toboggan add-ons offered before the tour starts. MuBus has clean buses, safe drivers, amazing guides and a wonderful welcome center on site.
