Focus on Cici’s language skills If you need proof that a great guide transforms a trip, book Mubus to Mutianyu and ask for Cici. Her command of English is exceptional – not just vocabulary, but natural expressions, humour, and cultural bridging. She told stories of the Great Wall’s construction that were both accurate and animated, keeping everyone engaged. When a foreign guest had questions about ming dynasty bricks, she answered in perfect detail. Mubus provided seamless logistics: comfortable seats, on-time departure, and friendly staff at the meeting point.

The Mutianyu Great Wall tour with Mubus was absolutely flawless. From the moment we boarded the clean, air-conditioned coach, the service was warm and attentive. Our guide, Cici, was a true gem. Her English is superb – clear, fluent, and effortless to understand. She explained the history of the wall with such passion and precision, from its defensive strategies to the restoration work. She went above and beyond, helping everyone with ticket purchases, cable car options, and even recommending the best spots for photos. Her genuine warmth made everyone feel cared for.

What a fantastic day at Mutianyu with Mubus and our wonderful guide Cici! Her English commentary was a masterclass in clarity and engagement. She broke down 2,000 years of Great Wall history into digestible segments: the Warring States origins, the Qin unification, the Ming reinforcement, and finally modern tourism. At each point, she connected the past to what we were seeing – for instance, standing near a watchtower, she explained how soldiers would have communicated using flags and fire. Her voice carried well even in windy conditions, and she never rushed. Beyond her linguistic skills, Cici’s warm sincerity made every guest feel valued.

Really hot and special Booking the Mutianyu day trip with Mubus was a smart choice, but meeting Cici was the lucky bonus. Her English guiding is exceptional – not only grammatically flawless but also delivered with a storyteller’s flair. She discussed the wall’s military strategy, the logistics of transporting stone blocks up the mountains, and even the legend of Meng Jiangnu, which she told with such emotion that several guests were moved. She balanced serious history with light-hearted facts (like how the wall is visible from space is a myth – she debunked it with humor). Cici’s service was beyond professional; it was heartfelt.

The Mutianyu Great Wall tour operated by Mubus was a highlight of my trip, and Cici made it truly special. Her English is impeccable – she uses precise vocabulary and a friendly tone that never sounds scripted. She explained the history of Mutianyu’s restoration in the 1980s, how it was one of the first sections opened to foreign tourists, and why it remains so well-preserved. I particularly enjoyed her commentary on the wall’s defensive layout: the enemy towers, the parapets, and the arrow holes. She even pointed out a section where you can see the original Ming bricks with inscriptions. Cici’s service attitude is equally impressive.

I cannot praise Cici from Mubus enough for her outstanding guidance at Mutianyu. Her English storytelling ability is top-notch – she turned a simple historical site into a living drama. She described how the wall was not just a barrier but a communication highway, with garrison stations and beacon towers working together. Cici used simple diagrams on her tablet to illustrate the wall’s construction techniques, making complex engineering understandable for all. But beyond knowledge, her warm and sincere personality made the tour feel like a journey with a trusted friend. She noticed that some guests were hesitating between the cable car and chairlift, so she patiently explained the pros and cons of each

My Mutianyu day tour with Mubus was elevated from good to fantastic by our guide, Cici. Her English is not just accurate – it’s expressive and well-paced, ideal for international visitors. She started with an overview of the Great Wall’s global significance, then zoomed into Mutianyu’s unique features: the dense watchtowers (22 in total!), the lush forest setting, and the wheelchair-friendly access. What impressed me most was how she handled questions. No matter how trivial, Cici answered with a genuine smile and added extra context. For example, when someone asked about the wall’s defense signal system, she acted out the smoke and fire signals with such energy that everyone laughed and learned. Her service was equally remarkable.

Our trip to the Great Wall was smooth and hassle-free from start to finish. The bus transportation was very convenient, and all entrance tickets to the Great Wall were included. Cable car and slide tickets were optional and could easily be purchased through the guide on the bus. Having Mike as our guide was a huge plus — he had a great sense of humor and shared fascinating stories and history about the Great Wall throughout the tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting China!

I am visiting China for the first time and going to see the Great Wall of China has been a must do for my entire trip. The tour was so well organized as I can’t fault of anything. They send you clear guidance in advance of your trip ( one day before), with anything you need. They do their best to keep you confortable and safe. Our guide was Mr. Mike. He was so kind, so interested for having the group enjoying the trip while learning about the history of China that I was very impressed but how passionate he is about promoting China and how professional and customer oriented he is during the entire trip. Thank you BIG TIME, Mr.Mike! The trip today was OUTSTANDING. But I do want to mention to you the fact that I travel a lot around the world and often going with tour guides . You are really the best of all. I have 3 amazing guides here in China, each of them exceptional. When I said I never met a better guide, you were making a difference today. You are so passionate when speaking about history and making guest feeling so taken care of and confortable that this is one of the things I will speak about : so welcoming for tourists. Well done to you, please go externally and attend international tourism fares and speak about China! Please change biased mindset about China as it is trully amazing , beautiful and in many ways living in the furure compared to other countries.

An amazing experience for the entire family! Our guide, Mr. Mike, shared a lot of useful historical information about China and the Great Wall. We learned a lot! Also Mr. Mike shared good tips for an optimal visit. We went to the west side of the wall, took the gondola and managed to walk to the last tower (23) and back to (14) in about 3 hours. Going beyond tower 19 was a bit strenuous but worthed the effort: scenic views and very few people. The buffet lunch was very diversified and tasty!
