Board your bus in central Beijing and enjoy the scenic ride to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. At the site, you have plenty of time to explore the ancient stone-and-earth barricade.
Mutianyu is one of the most picturesque wall sections. It has been fully restored, so you are able to get a great idea how it looked in ancient times. The surrounding countryside is also famous for its fragrant pines and cypress trees.
Also you can add on Summer Palace to your tour by selecting"Upgarde Summer Palace Bus Tour" option.
Upgrade to unwind with an authentic local buffet lunch before riding the bus back to Beijing.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
MuBus is a shuttle service to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, offering two daily departures at 8:00am and 10:00am. By taking the MuBus, you can benefit from no-reservation entry and no-fee shuttle tickets within the scenic area. You will have 4-5 hours ample time to tour the Great Wall. Additionally, the Mubus Tourist Center will offer you complimentary rest areas, tea, snacks, and luggage storage, ensuring a high-quality travel experience.

The guide, John, provided clear and engaging explanations about the history of the Great Wall, including how its earliest sections date back over 2,200 years and later expansions around 2,000 years ago, with the most well-known reconstruction during the Ming Dynasty in the 14th century. These historical insights really helped me appreciate the scale and significance of the site much more deeply. The instructions throughout the trip were also very clear, making navigation and timing smooth and stress-free even for a last-minute booking. Overall, it was a well-run experience with John that combined convenience, learning, and a seamless visit to one of China’s most iconic landmarks.

5.00We had a great experience with Kevin as our tour guide! The tour left promptly on time from the station, and the bus was comfortable. Kevin spoke English very well and provided useful information on the history of the Great Wall and tips for making the most of the experience. He also assisted us in purchasing tickets for the cable cars and toboggan rides, and was very friendly and helpful in his manner. The tour was an amazing experience of a must-see wonder of the world, made all the simpler with this tour group. We would definitely recommend to any other visitors!

5.00The weather was perfect with bright blue skies, white clouds, fresh air and excellent visibility. The giant wall winds across layered mountains, looking grand and endless from every angle. The sceneries all around are simply stunning. Our guide John was very professional. He told us all about the history here and helped us book entrance tickets and cable car rides smoothly. We also tried the east slideway, which was incredibly fun and added lots of joy to our tour. The whole trip was well arranged, and we felt utterly delighted throughout the journey.

5.00The breathtaking scenery of the Great Wall left us a deep impression. This magnificent ancient landmark stretches elegantly across rolling mountains. Our guide John was very knowledgeable and shared plenty of historical facts with us. He also helped our group get tickets for entry and the cable car. Fortunately, the east slideway was open when we visited. Though sections of the wall were being renovated, we could easily walk around those areas. It didn't dampen our spirits in the slightest. Overall, the trip was perfectly arranged and truly memorable!
