Mutianyu is one of the most picturesque wall sections. It has been fully restored, so you are able to get a great idea how it looked in ancient times. The surrounding countryside is also famous for its fragrant pines and cypress trees.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
MuBus is a shuttle service to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, offering two daily departures at 8:00am and 10:00am. By taking the MuBus, you can benefit from no-reservation entry and no-fee shuttle tickets within the scenic area. You will have 4-5 hours ample time to tour the Great Wall. Additionally, the Mubus Tourist Center will offer you complimentary rest areas, tea, snacks, and luggage storage, ensuring a high-quality travel experience.

5.00The bus was very so the 90-minute ride to the Great Wall didn’t feel boring at all. The weather for hiking was perfect: late autumn season, mild with a little breeze, not too hot to sweat buckets or too cold to shake, so we could climb for hours without getting tired. Guide John was totally the highlight! He’s hilarious, knows so much stuff, and was really into sharing stories about the Great Wall. He told us all about old battles, what emperors ordered back then, and how clever the workers were who built this amazing place. He’s great at mixing jokes with cool history facts, so everyone stayed interested whether we were climbing steep parts or stopping to take in the awesome mountain views. All in all, this tour was way better than I expected!

5.00I had a great time on the tour! Mike was an awesome guide. Everything was very organized and efficient. I really like the info and history that Mike provided on the drive to the Great Wall and I felt that I was fully prepared to enjoy my time there. I had time to hike both sections of the wall as well as have lunch and the bus ride back was very efficient. The meeting location is easily accessible next to the train station. It was very convenient to receive the tickets from Mike and the price was very well communicated as well as all of the options. Taking the 8am bus was very nice as there wasn’t a long queue when we arrived and I noted that it definitely got busier as the day went on. Thank you, Mike!

5.00Mutianyu is the perfect blend of accessibility and breathtaking beauty, especially now. Full of plants,like a colorful painting! Its main advantage is being less crowded than the popular Badaling, allowing for a more peaceful experience. The scenery is simply magnificent. You can choose to challenge yourself with a steep climb or use the convenient cable car and exciting toboggan ride for a fun alternative. MuBus team is wonderful with good organization, clean bus and professional guide , tasty lunch. Jily show us all clearly instructions. Really recommend it

5.00Visiting the Great Wall of China was an unforgettable experience. The scenery was stunning, the overall organization was great and our guide Amelia was fantastic: very friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. Her genuine care made the day feel special and memorable.
Awesome trip. I complete climb from checkpoint 14 to 20. I had snap a lot nice photo and the view are fantastics.

Very easy for the assembly early morning 7.30am where Mike wait us earlier at assembly point, and he ask me just after i exit from B1, even i am stanger like walking in street. In bus journey, he explain clear about the entrance rules and return rules. Mubus package and services is good and value, i will recommend to my friends.

5.00The Great Wall visit was amazing. We had a great experience with Mr. Mike that was our guide for the day. He was extremely prepared and kind, it was a pleasure hearing him explaining the Wall history. We were lucky with the weather and manage to get both sides of Mutianyu. One advice: don’t spend too much time on the east side, we found a long queue to go dow with the Toboggan! Enjoy
