  The experience was incredible, 10/10. The guide (Mr. Mike) made the visit truly memorable with his effort, knowledge, and friendly attitude, creating a very enjoyable atmosphere throughout the tour. He was excellent at explaining everything and made the experience fun.   I cannot stop smiling when I think about our Mutianyu tour with Cici. The Great Wall is, without exaggeration, one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever seen. The views from the watchtowers are absolutely breathtaking—mountains rolling into the distance, the wall curving like a giant dragon. It’s a place that fills you with wonder. But Cici made the day truly special. Her English is perfect, and she explained everything so clearly—from the construction techniques of the Wall to the different dynasties that expanded it. She also gave us a very detailed route map and explained exactly where to go for the best views, where the steepest steps are, and how to use the cable car and luge. That kind of thoughtful guidance helped us manage our time perfectly.

  Super easy to find the meeting point and very organised from start to finish. Cici our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. She helped book tickets for the cable car and gave us some background history on our journey. Would 100% recommend.

  What an incredible day! The Mutianyu Great Wall is everything you imagine and more—ancient, grand, and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. Walking along those centuries-old stones, looking out at the endless green ridges, I felt truly small in the best possible way. But the person who made this experience unforgettable was our guide, Cici. Her English is outstanding, and her storytelling is brilliant. She didn’t just give us dates and names; she told us stories of soldiers, of ancient battles, of how workers carried stones up the mountains. She also gave us a very clear, step-by-step guide on how to explore the Wall efficiently—which towers to visit first, where to avoid crowds, and how to get back down by toboggan. That kind of practical detail was so helpful. The Mubus service was excellent from start to finish. Their free tea and coffee break at the tourist center was a lovely touch, and the staff were all warm and efficient. The buffet lunch was genuinely good—plenty of hot food, including delicious braised pork and fresh vegetables. And then came the surprise: Cici offered to sing a song for us. She has a beautiful, clear voice, and she sang a traditional Chinese folk song that made everyone smile. Some people even started humming along. It was such a joyful moment after a day of hiking. Cici is not just a guide; she’s an entertainer, a historian, and a friend. I will remember this day forever.

  We booked the MuBus day trip to Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made during our stay in Beijing. And the highlight? Our guide, Cici. Cici speaks English fluently, and her communication skills are outstanding. She told us the history of the Water Great Wall with such energy and clarity that we were all listening like students in a fascinating lecture. But she never made it feel like a lesson—it was more like a friend sharing amazing stories. She was also incredibly thoughtful, giving us tips on where to take the best photos and how to plan our time so we could do everything we wanted. And there is a lot to do! Huanghuacheng is not just about the Wall—though the Wall itself is breathtaking. It stretches along the ridge and then dramatically dips into the bright blue-green lake. We must have taken a hundred photos. But beyond that, we tried almost every activity available. We rode the small sightseeing train along the lake, which was fun and gave us a different perspective. Then we went water rafting, which was exciting and refreshing on a warm day. The two guys in our group also rented kayaks and paddled out onto the calm lake, while the girls relaxed on the shore and took more photos. There was no crowding anywhere. We never had to wait in long lines or fight for space. What made the day truly special was Cici's warmth and professionalism. She stayed positive and energetic the whole time, answered every question with a smile, and made sure all four of us were having fun. She even suggested a great spot for a group photo that turned out to be our favorite shot of the entire trip. We returned to Beijing tired, sun-kissed, and very happy. If you are traveling with friends and want a mix of history, nature, and fun activities, book this tour and ask for Cici. You will have a day to remember.

  This is the bestttt way to visit The Great Wall. I went with 10 family members (5 was elderly). The bus left a little late (10 mins) because we are waiting for some participants but that’s okay. The bus is comfortable, the driver was good, the tour guide Mike was very informative and fun! The journey was smooth and everything has been taken care of (the admission ticket, shuttle bus, and they also help with cable car ticket booking). Mubus has this big building for the participant and the restaurant for us to have lunch. We have 5 hours to explore and allowed to come back, and have lunch (if you paid for the lunch package). It was buffet style and the food variety was amazinggggg!! Everyone agrees they love the food. If you book this trip, you HAVE TO book the lunch! Worth every penny. It was a perfect day for us.   Our full-day journey with Mubus turned out to be incredibly enjoyable. We visited the Summer Palace in the morning and moved on to the Mutianyu Great Wall as the afternoon came. Thanks to the quiet and pleasant environment with few tourists, we experienced a seamless and relaxing trip. Though the sky was overcast and the temperature a little cool, the impressive scenery of the Great Wall left a deep impression on us. John is a highly professional guide with a deep understanding of ancient defensive structures. His interesting stories and clear explanations of heritage protection made the tour very meaningful. We highly recommend this experience to everyone.

  We had such an incredible day out with Mubus! We visited the elegant Summer Palace first thing in the morning, then headed to Mutianyu Great Wall for the afternoon. Thanks to the quiet visitor flow, we moved around comfortably without any crowds or delays. It was overcast and slightly chilly, but perfect for walking and enjoying the scenery. John was brilliant to be with—easygoing, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating stories that made the day so engaging. The Mubus exclusive service area with cozy seats and a close restaurant was a lovely extra touch. This trip was well-organized, educational, and absolutely memorable.
