• Bus trip to Mutianyu with Mubus

  We visited the Great Wall of China with Mubus and it was an enjoyable trip led by a jovial and friendly guide Mike, who spoke relatively good English and was engaging with the customers from various countries. He provided good amount of information related to China and the Great Wall and you could feel his pride in being Chinese and in doing his job. Of the tour itself, it was a comfortable coach ride to the staging area where we had to transfer to a shuttle bus to bring us to the entrance. The whole area was well managed with shops, restaurants rooms, stalls selling souvenirs, chairlift and cable cars to bring people up the mountain. The tobogga ride down was a fantastic idea and a popular choice. Prepare to pay an extra 140 yuan per person for the chairlift plus tobogga to the east side of the wall and another 140 yuan for the cable car to the west. Not cheap but no choice unless you want to climb the stairs to reach the top. There was more than an hour of waiting in the morning for the ride up and down the east side and it was a pity because we were left with little time for the west, which is way more scenic. Maybe we should have gone for west side first .

  Tour to the Great Wall was an amazing experience. Time and organization of the overall tour was perfect. Mr Mike was our guide and made the travel super enjoyable, he is so funny and helped us to understand Chinese culture and be ready to enjoy the experience. Definitely recommend to go both sides and reserve the buffet which was high quality.

  We had a wonderful day trip to the Mutianyu Great Wall on Sunday . The weather was nice, although a bit cold, which actually made walking on the Great Wall more comfortable. We booked the tour with Mubus, and everything went very smoothly from the beginning. Our guide Amelia was incredibly friendly and professional. Her English is excellent, and she gave us a very detailed and interesting introduction to the history of the Great Wall, the different dynasties involved in its construction, and also shared many stories about Beijing. Amelia helped us with the tickets and the cable car passes, so we didn’t have to wait in long lines and could enter the scenic area quickly. We took the cable car up and the toboggan slide down, which was a lot of fun. The Great Wall itself is truly magnificent and breathtaking. Standing on the wall, looking at the mountains and the watchtowers, we felt like heroes for conquering one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Mubus and our amazing guide Amelia.

  Had an amazing time with this tour and our guide Mr. Mike! It was very well planned and organised, Mike was super thorough in explaining the itinerary in steps and went over the plan multiple times ensuring everyone had a good understanding of what to do and expect, you’re never left unsure or wondering. He also has a good sense of humour 😆. Mubus actually has their own building at the Great Wall, this is where you can leave your belongings, check in and out, have food at the buffet, collect your gifts etc. and the designated meeting point. The buffet was great! We didn’t have any issues on our experience at the Great Wall but if there is any problem you will have the tour guide to contact for assistance. There were multiple buses to take us back to the city, last one departing at 5:30pm so we don’t feel rushed and had plenty of time to do west and east side of the wall. I got the Great Wall certificate and the quality was so surprising I didn’t expect it to be so nicely made, I highly recommend getting at least one item as a keepsake of this experience. Overall it was a 10/10 experience because we were well taken care of by Mr. Mike, he also sent lots of photos and restaurant recommendations at the end, much appreciated!!   The Great Wall was absolutely amazing and the view was unforgettable. Mike was very friendly, funny, and professional, and he made the whole trip even better. He explained everything clearly, shared interesting stories, and always cared about the group. Thanks to Mike’s passion and kindness, the tour was really enjoyable and memorable. The whole Mubus team was well organized and helpful. Highly recommend this tour if you want a great Great Wall experience!

  10/10 would recommend this Mutianyu Great Wall tour—total perfection! It was a little chilly at the meeting point in the morning, but our guide John was incredibly thoughtful, letting us warm up indoors as long as we needed before starting the tour. The sun was shining on the ancient walls, and there were hardly any crowds, making it such a peaceful escape instead of a chaotic tourist spot. I wandered slowly along the ramparts, taking in every view. The mountain air was crisp and fresh, and I could see the endless rolling mountains clearly in the distance. On the bus ride, John shared detailed history about the Great Wall, which added so much depth to the trip. Mubus building even had a cozy lounge area with soft music and free tea and snacks—such a nice touch that made the journey super relaxing.

  Spent a wonderful Christmas Day at the Mutianyu Great Wall! Choosing the Mubus one-day tour was the perfect decision, especially since getting there independently would have been difficult. A huge thank you to our tour guide, Jily! She was incredibly knowledgeable, bringing the history and stories of the Wall to life with her engaging and humorous commentary. Her warmth and energy made the winter trip thoroughly enjoyable. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us ample time to admire the majestic winter scenery without feeling rushed. I highly recommend Mubus for anyone looking for a hassle-free and enriching Great Wall visit. Their professional service and smooth organization, combined with an outstanding guide like Jily, made the day truly special. A perfect Christmas outing! Will definitely recommend to friends and would choose Mubus again on my next visit to Beijing!

  I really recommend this tour to those who want to go to great wall, but cant speak chinese and want to have a good explanation and all things sort out. Dont forget to wear proper suit. As it is very windy and cold especially in winter. Dont miss out on tobogan slide and mutianyu cable way on the east entrance. ( you will be offered the ticket on the bus as its not included in the tour price). The tour guide Ms. Yanna is very helpful, she explain everything about the history of the great wall, every tips about the top spot on the great wall as well. On our way back from Beijing we are accompanied by standup commedy tour leader Mr Mike. He's very funny, and have many tips for us to buy things in China. Great job for Mubus and Team.

  Great tour guides. Punctual, effective communication and a decent buffet at the end. My tournament guide Yanaa was really nice and made everything perfectly clear. Also followed Mike for a bit who was funny and made the bus ride interesting. Bro could be a stand up comedian if he wanted. Thanks.
