  The buffet at Mubus Home was a total standout: dozens of different options, with a great mix of hearty meat dishes and light, fresh veggies that everyone loved. John was awesome—he’s friendly, down-to-earth, and knows huge amounts of history stuffs about the Great Wall. I really appreciated that he didn’t come up the wall with us; he just gave me some great hiking tips and told me about the best spots to check out, then let me take my time exploring. He texted me once or twice to make sure I wasn’t lost or stuck, which was really thoughtful. Some tour guides hover over you the whole time, but John totally gets that tourists want to wander and take in the views without being rushed. The whole day was stress-free and enjoyable, no hidden fees or weird stops like some other tours. I’ve already recommended John and Mubus to everyone I know who’s planning a trip to Beijing—seriously, don’t book any other tour!

  10/10 for John and Mubus—this Mutianyu Great Wall trip was way better than I expected! First off, the meeting spot was easy to find, right near the subway station, which saved me a ton of hassle. Once we got to the Great Wall parking lot, the Mubus Home waiting area was clean and had comfy seats. Also the complimentary tea and snacks were already available. The buffet at Mubus Home was an absolute highlight: a massive selection with loads of meat and veggie options, so there was something to please for anyone. John was the real MVP here. He’s super friendly and knows so much about the Great Wall’s history, sharing little stories that made the whole thing way more interesting.

  Mubus’s Mutianyu tour was the highlight of my Beijing trip, all thanks to the great weather and our guide John. We met at Dongzhimen Station—handy enough with a few shops nearby—but the real magic was the wall itself. It was a cold, sunny winter day, and John led us to a lesser-known section where crowds were nonexistent. We wandered past ancient watchtowers, with the mountains stretching out in every direction, and the scenic area’s colorful New Year balloons popped against the blue sky, making photos look like postcards. The rest area’s in Mubus were a welcome pick-me-up after hiking. It’s warm and cozy! If you want to see the Great Wall without the crowds, book Mubus and ask for John!

  We had a really good experience! Our tour Absolutely fantastic experience with Mubus Jily! A true no-shopping, direct-to-destination tour. The ride was smooth and efficient, with no detours. Free tea and snacks onboard were a lovely touch. Driver was safe, and guide Jily was knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect for travelers who just want to relax and enjoy the sights. Highly recommend for a pure, hassle-free trip! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Mubus’s Mutianyu tour was perfect for us, fresh off a flight to Beijing, thanks to the super convenient meeting spot at Dongzhimen Subway Station. We took the airport express straight there—no hassle, no confusing transfers—and the area had a small shop where we bought something for the chilly winter day, plus a breakfast joint where we grabbed a quick bite. Our guide John was already waiting for us there when we arrived, and he made us feel welcome from the start. He pointed out the building for us to stay warm inside. He shared fascinating stories about the wall’s history, handled all our tickets, and tailored the hike to our jet-lagged pace. John’s knowledge of history and his kindness to us during the day made this trip the perfect first day in Beijing. We can’t recommend Mubus and John enough!

Direct, non-stop rides from the city to the attractions save both time and hassle, completely free from the usual rushed and tiring tour group experience. Onboard, not only are free teas provided, but also delicate snacks—the service is incredibly thoughtful. The driver is professional, and the guide Jily gives lively and interesting commentary, making the whole journey comfortable and worry-free.   We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Tony on our Mubus Mutianyu Great Wall trip. On our way to the wall, he shared super detailed insights into how the Great Wall was built and its evolution through various dynasties. Learning all that history made us truly appreciate the depth of China’s past, and we were so excited that the bus ride felt way too short—we just wanted to get to the wall already! The first thing that hit us when we arrived was how calm it was compared to the windy city we left behind. That crisp, windy weather in Beijing had actually gifted us a stunning day—bright sun, clear blue skies, and fluffy clouds overhead. It was ideal for hiking and taking beautiful photos of the wall. Experiencing the Great Wall up close made us fully understand why it’s a world-famous wonder. Tony’s knowledge and the perfect weather made this trip unforgettable.

  Our guide Jilly was very helpful and friendly:) she answered all of our questions and made the ride to the great wall joyful. We had some free tea and snacks before climbing. The guide also assured us about the time needed. Everything went so smooth and we made it to the meeting point right in time. She also offered us some help related to our exploring of Beijing. Overall we would love to recommend going to the great wall with Jilly:)
