• Geeting the best Great Wall experience with no time wasting

  Visted both sections of Mutianyu section on Dec 29, 2025. It was a nice experience. Toboggan to go down from section 1 is a very funny experience (even with the December temperature around 0 celsius). Section #2 is the most difficult to reach, be prepared to climb lots of steps. Section 1 was very empty in the morning; section 2 got a little crowded after noon even with the freezing temp that luckily got warmer around 1pm. Indications and recommendations given by Jessica, our tour guide, really helped to save some time and get the best from the tour. MuBus facilities are really good, they even can store any piece of luggage you carry. I recommend take the tour ticket with that includes the buffet to finish the day tour. The buffet is really huge including several China typical foods. It is impossible to try all the dishes. Really worth the price if even if you do not like to each too much but for people that likes eating a lot is even better. Dining area is huge.

  Our guide John made the day great—he’s the reason this trip was such a highlight! The weather was a bit chilly and overcast but not too cold, and since it was the off-season, there were very few tourists, letting us freely plan our way of exploring the Great Wall. Even though it was cloudy, visibility was excellent; we could see the distant mountains and the Great Wall stretching endlessly far away, the scenery was absolutely spectacular. Mutianyu truly lives up to its reputation—it’s definitely the best spot to visit the Great Wall! John’s English is fluent, his stories about the Great Wall’s history were so engaging (way more interesting than any textbook!), and he had the best tips for photo spots. The Mubus buffet lunch was super abundant with plenty of tasty options, the bus ride was smooth too, but John’s passion and service really made this experience stand out.   You won’t find a better value Great Wall tour in Beijing—this Mubus trip to Mutianyu has it all, and it’s so reasonably priced! I was pleasantly surprised by all the little perks: free luggage storage at the waiting room, complimentary tea and affordable coffee before departure, a delicious buffet lunch with both local and Western options, plus a smooth round-trip bus ride. Our guide John was super professional, with fluent English—he gave us clear, standard introductions to the Great Wall’s history and all essential tips. The Mutianyu section is far less crowded than other parts, boasting stunning, well-preserved views, and we had plenty of time to explore at our own pace, no pressure at all. Pre-trip reminders were clear, the meeting spot was easy to find, and every part of the tour felt well-organized. Total bang for your buck!

  I was a bit hesitant at first to book this trip, but I am very happy I did. Jily was a very amazing guide. She was incredibly motivated, and explained things very well and in detail. She has very fun aunty vibes, which made the trip very enjoyable and comfortable. She collected us at the subway station, and than we walked over to the bus station. In the Bus Jily told us a bit about the history of the great Wall and introduced the different ways we can get up to the wall. As cable car rides are not included in the cost of this trip, she than collected the cable car payments and we were able to also book some (optional) souvenirs or lunch. I only got the cable car tickets, since i wanted to have as much time on the wall as possible. She than explained and showed us where to go for the shuttle bus and further to the cable car. We met up again at the Mubus family headquarter at 3 pm and took the bus back to Beijing. All over this tour made visiting the Mutianyu section pretty hassle free and easy. And Jily was always either there along the way or just a phone call away for help.

  Had a wonderful experience. Jily was very helpful and ensured we had all the correct information. She also made sure we got to the right place and gave us recommendations that suited the experience we wanted. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to see the great wall, Jily made everything easy.

  We had a wonderful experience visiting the Great Wall, thanks to our guide Jilly. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained the history and significance of the Great Wall in a very clear and interesting way. Her English was very good, which made communication easy and comfortable throughout the trip. Jilly was friendly, patient, and always ready to help. She managed everything smoothly, gave us enough time to explore and take photos, and made sure we were comfortable at every step. She also shared many small details and stories that made the visit more meaningful rather than just a rushed tour. Overall, she made our Great Wall trip memorable and stress free.   I had the pleasure of joining the Mubus day tour to Mutianyu Great Wall, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The weather was absolutely perfect—sunny and warm but not too hot—which made walking along the Wall an absolute delight. The fact that it was so uncrowded was an unexpected bonus, allowing us to take our time and really appreciate the stunning views and historic atmosphere without feeling rushed. The logistics were seamless. The bus departed promptly from Dongzhimen, and the journey to and from the Wall was smooth and comfortable. It was such a relief not to have to worry about transportation. Most importantly, our guide Helly was truly outstanding.   Fantastic tour! Perfect day. Huge thanks to Mubus and our guide Helly. The trip was smooth from start to finish. Direct bus from Dongzhimen—easy. Weather? Sunny and beautiful. The Wall itself? Amazingly quiet and crowd-free. No queues at all! We could truly enjoy the majesty of the place. Helly was wonderful. Her guidance was professional, her stories were lively, and she took great care of everyone. Her enthusiasm was contagious! Everything was well-organized, making the day completely hassle-free. If you want a perfect Great Wall visit without the stress, book this tour. You won't regret it!
