Mutianyu Great Wall Tour Itinerary MuBus offers two direct bus Shift to the Mutianyu Great Wall every day at 8:00AM and 10:00AM, their schedule as follows: Bus Departure 8:00AM: 08:00: Bus depart from the meeting point. 09:30: Arrive Great Wall and sightseeing. 15:00: Bus depart from the Great Wall. 17:00: Arrive the meeting point and tour is over. Bus Departure 10:00AM: 10:00: Bus depart from the meeting point. 11:30: Arrive Great Wall and sightseeing. 17:00: Bus depart from the Great Wall. 18:30: Arrive the meeting point and tour is over.

5.00Jily was a great guide, but always follow the group otherwise you can piss her off :) She was amazing while explaining everything about the Great Wall for both the history and the visiting part. When I was visiting I didn’t think at all what to do when and where. My package included lunch, so I didn’t have to think again what to eat there. Open buffet food was also great to experience Chinese cousine. Mubus had a center near Great Wall, so that we had a chance to enjoy some free snacks and beverages. It was a full day great adventure for me. Thanks for everything.

5.00A seamless and enriching day at the Great Wall with Mubus. The service was impeccably organized, from the punctual pickup to the comfortable direct coach. Our guide, Jily, was exceptional—her insightful and humorous commentary throughout the journey truly brought the history to life and enhanced our appreciation. The convenience of their private facilities, especially the hearty buffet with a great mix of local and international choices, added significant comfort. The Mutianyu section is stunning, and the toboggan ride was an absolute thrill. For a perfect blend of culture, convenience, and fun, I highly recommend Mubus.

5.00Our Great Wall tour was the highlight of my Beijing trip, all thanks to the lovely sunny weather! On the bus ride up, John told us about the general history of the wall’s construction, and his English was excellent and easy to follow. When we took the cable car up, I gasped: the Great Wall snaked across mountains that stretched as far as the eye could see.What an amazing view! The free hot drinks after the hike were perfect. The Mubus waiting area was warm with seating for guests, and the complimentary tea, biscuits and candy were such a nice touch too.

His professional was impressive; he knew every detail about Mutianyu. As we walked, he narrated tales from ancient times, like how the Wall was built and defended. He used simple English, so everyone could follow along. This made the history accessible and interesting. Kevin’s passion was evident in how he engaged us. He asked questions and encouraged discussions, making it interactive. He also shared fun facts, like how the Wall changes in winter—snow can reveal hidden textures. This added a layer of wonder to the view. The snowy landscape looked majestic, and Kevin’s stories gave it context. It felt like we were part of history. The organization by Mubus supported Kevin’s efforts perfectly. The visitor center had provided background info, but Kevin brought it to life on-site. He timed his talks well, pausing at key spots like watchtowers. Mubus had planned the route to include these highlights, showing their attention to detail. In winter, the quiet atmosphere made the stories even more poignant.
From start to finish everything ran smoothly, Kevin did a good job and looked after the tourist. So he gets my thumbs up

5.00Everything was perfect my organized. The meeting point was extremely convenient, right next to breakfast stalls and local shops. We grabbed some snacks and hot drinks and chatted with fellow travelers before boarding the bus. The ride itself was lively and enjoyable, with our guide John sharing fun and interesting facts about the Great Wall along the way. Even during the winter school holidays, Mutianyu wasn’t crowded at all, which allowed us to explore freely and hike at our own pace, without feeling rushed. The Mubus waiting hall is quiet and cozy, with tea and snacks always available, making the waiting time completely relaxing.

He shared top tips for the best viewing spots and fun little snippets about the Great Wall’s long history, making the trip both informative and really enjoyable. The Wall itself was stunning, with well-preserved ancient walls and breathtaking mountain scenery all around. We had plenty of time to wander at our own pace—no rushing whatsoever. The bus waiting room was such a nice little bonus, with complimentary tea and snacks plus affordable coffee. This is a really well-planned tour with smooth bus rides, fantastic service, and unbeatable value for money.
