  Spring at Mutianyu is pure magic. I went with Mubus and was blown away by the scenery: the hills were absolutely covered in blossoms, and the Great Wall rose above them like a giant stone serpent. Kevin, our guide, made the history come alive. His English is fluent and natural, with a warmth that put everyone at ease. He explained how the wall was built over centuries, how soldiers used smoke signals, and why this section is particularly well-preserved. He also gave us plenty of time to explore on our own, which I appreciated. His recommendations for the cable car and the slide were spot on. I will definitely recommend Mubus to friends – and tell them to go in spring if possible. Kevin is a star.

  What a fantastic day! Mubus’s Mutianyu tour was perfectly organized. We arrived just as the morning light hit the flowering hills – apricot and peach blossoms everywhere. The Great Wall stood above it all, massive and majestic. Kevin, our guide, was the best part of the tour. He speaks English fluently and with a natural rhythm that’s easy to follow. He didn’t just give a lecture; he had conversations with us. He explained the difference between Mutianyu and other sections, why the watchtowers have different numbers of windows, and how the wall was built using limestone and sticky rice mortar. He was also very caring, checking on slower hikers and offering advice. I’ll absolutely tell my friends to book Mubus and ask for Kevin. Spring at Mutianyu is unforgettable.

  Mutianyu in spring is a postcard come to life. The blossoms were at their peak – soft pink clouds covering the lower slopes, with the Great Wall riding the ridgeline like a dragon. I booked with Mubus and was impressed from the start. The bus was comfortable, the departure on time, and our guide Kevin was outstanding. His English is fluent and clear, but what sets him apart is his enthusiasm. He explained how the wall was not a single structure but a system of forts and beacon towers. On the wall, he pointed out the different crenellations and explained their purpose. He also took a genuine interest in each guest, helping a family from Spain with their camera settings. I will definitely recommend this tour to friends. Kevin is a true professional.

  I travel a lot and take many tours, but this one stood out. Mubus got us to Mutianyu efficiently, and the spring blossoms were unforgettable – wild peach, apricot, and some small white flowers covering the valleys like snow. The Great Wall itself is staggeringly beautiful, much steeper than I expected, but every step was worth it. Kevin, our guide, is a gem. His English is fluent and easy to understand, and he doesn’t just recite facts – he paints pictures with words. He told us how the wall was once guarded by soldiers who grew their own vegetables on the parapets. He also gave great logistical advice: when to take the slide down, where to buy cold water, and how to find the restrooms. His warmth made the whole group feel comfortable. I’ll definitely tell my friends: book Mubus and ask for Kevin.

  I’m so happy I chose Mubus for the Mutianyu Great Wall. The timing was perfect – mid-April, and the mountains were covered with blossoms. Every turn of the path gave a new postcard view: grey wall, blue sky, pink flowers. Kevin was our guide and he made the history come alive. His English is excellent, and he has a storyteller’s gift. Instead of just dates and names, he described what life was like for the soldiers stationed there, how they signaled enemies with smoke, and how the wall was built using manpower and rice-lime mortar. He was also super helpful, giving us tips on the cable car vs. chairlift, and even lending his power bank to a tourist with a dead phone. I will absolutely recommend Mubus to anyone visiting Beijing. Kevin deserves a raise.

  What a day! Mubus delivered everything they promised. The drive from Beijing was smooth, and as we approached Mutianyu, the view got better and better. Spring had turned the mountains into a floral tapestry – cherry-like blossoms everywhere, and a fresh green haze on the trees. The Great Wall itself is beyond words: steep, grand, and humbling. Kevin was a superstar. His English is not only fluent but also very natural, with good humor and clear pronunciation. He explained how Mutianyu is less crowded than Badaling, and why that makes it special. He also told us about the watchtowers’ defensive functions in such a vivid way that I could almost hear ancient soldiers shouting. He checked on every guest, answered endless questions, and even took group photos for us. I’m definitely recommending this tour to my friends back home.

  Mutianyu in spring is a dream. I booked with Mubus after reading good reviews, and I’m glad I did. The moment we arrived, I saw hillsides bursting with soft pink blossoms, contrasting with the grey stone of the Great Wall. Kevin, our guide, greeted us with a warm smile and spoke English naturally, no awkward pauses or memorized scripts. He gave us the history of the Ming Dynasty restoration, but also practical tips: which section to hike, where to find the slide, and how to avoid crowds. His passion for Chinese history is infectious. He even brought a small tablet to show old photos of how the wall looked before restoration.   I joined the Mubus Mutianyu tour last April and it was absolutely perfect. The mountains were covered in pink and white blossoms—apricot, peach, and some wild flowers I couldn’t name. Against that soft spring backdrop, the Great Wall looked even more dramatic, snaking over the ridges like a sleeping dragon. Our guide Kevin made the day unforgettable. His English is flawless, but more than that, he tells stories instead of just listing facts. He explained how the wall was built brick by brick, shared legends about generals and soldiers, and even pointed out which watchtowers give the best photos. He was patient with everyone, helped an elderly couple find the cable car, and gave us clear meeting times without ever rushing us. The bus was clean and left on time. I will definitely recommend Mubus and Kevin to any friend visiting Beijing. The spring bloom at Mutianyu is something you have to see with your own eyes.

  Our tour (Chinese Wall and Summer Palace) was great and Jily was a fun and knowledgeable guide with lots of good stories. She also did a great job handling the puncutality of the group and making sure we could stick to our plans (and it was challenging because there was a somewhat "problematic" family in our group, but she handled that very professionally).   Great Wall and Summer Palace in one day with Mubus and guide Jily—simply excellent! The meeting point was easy to find, the bus comfortable, and the schedule well-paced. Jily was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing the history of the Wall with such clarity and passion. Her tips really helped us make the most of our visit. The Mubus Family visitor center offering free tea and cookies was a wonderful surprise—so thoughtful! After a relaxing break, we continued to the Summer Palace where Jily's stories brought the royal gardens to life. Everything ran like clockwork. A stress-free, memorable, and highly enjoyable experience. Highly recommend Mubus and the wonderful Jily!
