  Traveling with two energetic kids (ages 8 and 11) can be challenging, but this Mubus tour was a hit with everyone. Kevin was fantastic with the children—patient, funny, and full of energy. He kept them engaged with stories about ancient soldiers and even turned the history into a game, asking them to count watchtowers or spot arrow slits . The Mubus organization made the day stress-free for parents. The meeting point at Dongzhimen was easy to find, the bus was comfortable, and Kevin handled all the tickets so we didn't have to juggle paperwork while managing kids . He gave clear instructions about restrooms and food options, which is essential when traveling with children. The highlight for the kids was absolutely the toboggan ride down. Kevin had explained how it worked and helped us purchase tickets in advance, so we avoided queues . Zooming down the winding track with the Great Wall towering above us was an adrenaline rush the whole family loved. Even I was giggling like a child! The wall itself left the kids in awe—they couldn't believe people built something so massive so long ago. Kevin's stories about soldiers and signal fires captured their imaginations completely. After the descent, we warmed up in the Mubus lounge with free tea and snacks . Kevin made sure we were all comfortable before the ride back. This was hands-down our favorite day in Beijing. If you have kids, request Kevin—he's a natural with families!

  Our group of 12 friends traveled to Beijing together, and we all wanted to visit the Great Wall. Managing such a large group independently would have been a nightmare, but Mubus and Kevin made it easy and fun for everyone. From booking, Mubus accommodated our group size without issue. Kevin greeted us warmly at Dongzhimen and immediately took charge, ensuring all 12 of us were accounted for and comfortable . During the bus ride, Kevin's energy and humor kept everyone engaged. He shared stories, answered questions, and helped us coordinate our plan for the wall. His tips about meeting points and timing were essential for keeping our large group organized . At Mutianyu, Kevin handled tickets for all 12 of us efficiently—no small feat! He explained that we could split up based on interests (some wanted the full hike, others preferred easier routes) and gave clear instructions about when and where to regroup . The wall itself was spectacular. Our group spread out but always had Kevin's guidance as an anchor. Those who wanted history stuck with him; those wanting solitude explored independently. It worked perfectly. The Mubus lounge was ideal for our group—spacious enough for all of us to rest together, with complimentary tea and snacks for everyone . Kevin used this time to check in with each person, ensuring everyone had a good experience. For large groups, I cannot recommend Mubus and Kevin enough. His professionalism, patience, and organizational skills made managing 12 people look easy. We all left happy and are already planning our next trip!

Kevin's instructions were precise, his stories engaging, and his answers to questions thorough. He never talked down to us but also never assumed knowledge we didn't have. It was the perfect balance. The Mubus tour materials are also available in multiple languages, and the company clearly prioritizes serving international visitors well . Kevin's language skills are just one part of a broader commitment to accessibility. During the bus ride, Kevin shared fascinating insights about Chinese history and culture that I would have missed without his translation and interpretation. He explained the symbolism of Spring Festival decorations, the meaning of certain architectural features, and even taught us a few useful Chinese phrases . On the wall, his explanations brought the stones to life. He translated inscriptions, explained historical context, and helped us understand what we were seeing at a deep level. After the tour, Kevin helped some group members arrange taxis and communicate with drivers—going above and beyond to ensure we were all set . For international visitors, particularly those concerned about language barriers, Mubus with Kevin is the perfect choice.   Jily was such a great guide! She’s funny, warm, and really knows her stuff. She gave us a fantastic introduction to the history of the Mutianyu Great Wall, plus practical tips for the visit. We went just after a snowfall—the views were absolutely beautiful, though the path was a bit slippery in places. Totally worth it! The meeting point at Dongzhimen Subway Station was super easy to find. Lunch was also a highlight—lots of variety and really tasty. Don’t skip it! Everything was well organized and made for a wonderful day. Highly recommend Jily and this tour!

  The Mutianyu Great Wall looked absolutely stunning in the snow, with fresh white snow covering the ancient bricks and stretching into the mountains. Some paths were slippery due to ice and snow. It was a pity that the east route toboggan was closed because of the snow. Our guide John was excellent; he helped us choose a suitable route based on our fitness and booked cable car tickets for us. We also enjoyed a rich buffet lunch provided by Mubus, with a good variety of meat, fresh vegetables, fruits and hot dishes. The tour was well-organized and this was an unforgettable winter experience.

  The Mutianyu Great Wall was incredibly beautiful under the fresh snow, and the Chinese New Year decorations added a lovely festive touch. Some sections were slippery because of ice, so we walked carefully, and we felt a pity that the east line slide was closed due to the snow. Our guide John was excellent; he helped us plan a suitable route according to our physical condition and booked our cable car tickets in advance. Mubus has its own modern building near the wall with complete facilities, including a luggage storage area, a large waiting room, free tea and snacks. The buffet restaurant on the second floor offered a rich selection of dishes. The whole service was well-organized and satisfying.

  We had an unforgettable winter trip to Mutianyu Great Wall. The snow-covered wall looked stunning, and the festive decorations created a warm atmosphere. Due to the recent snow, some steps were slippery and the east line slide was temporarily closed. Our guide John was very helpful; he planned a proper route for our group and helped with the ticket booking. Mubus provides excellent service with its own special building near the Great Wall. We could store luggage, rest in a spacious area, and enjoy free tea and snacks. The buffet restaurant on the second floor was clean and abundant. The whole service was complete and reliable, making our trip very comfortable.

  I'll admit—part of why I chose Mubus was the lunch option. Great Wall views AND authentic Chinese food? Yes, please. Kevin and Mubus delivered on both fronts spectacularly. The day started with Kevin's engaging commentary during the bus ride. He shared not just history but also insights about Chinese cuisine and food culture, building anticipation for lunch . After several hours exploring the magnificent wall (which exceeded all expectations), we headed to lunch. Kevin had organized everything seamlessly—the restaurant was clean, welcoming, and clearly accustomed to hosting Mubus groups . The food was outstanding. A variety of dishes arrived family-style, allowing everyone to sample different flavors. Kevin explained each dish—its ingredients, regional origin, and cultural significance. He ensured dietary restrictions were accommodated and that everyone had plenty to eat . The meal was the perfect way to refuel after hiking. Sitting with new friends, sharing delicious food, and hearing more of Kevin's stories made for a memorable experience. Even the picky eaters in our group found dishes they loved.
