  The Mubus company's planning was brilliant. The timing was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the wall with fewer people. The key differentiator was our guide, Kevin. His professionalism was evident in how he handled the group, always counting heads and ensuring everyone's safety. His enthusiasm was infectious; he was as excited as we were, which made the day more fun. Then there was the lunch. The food was not just "good for a tour"; it was genuinely delicious. There was a great mix of meat and vegetable dishes, all seasoned perfectly. Kevin joined us for lunch and shared more interesting facts about local cuisine. Thanks Kevin give us a nice trip.

  My experience with Mubus was excellent from beginning to end. Our guide, Kevin, was the heart of the trip. He was so professional and had a warm personality. He kept us informed and entertained. The Mubus itinerary was well-balanced and stress-free. A special mention for their waiting room at the wall - it was incredibly spacious and clean. It made the whole day more comfortable. The food provided was also very tasty. The lunch was another example of their high standards. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes that kept coming. Kevin ensured our drinks were always filled and that we were enjoying the meal. This attention to detail made all the difference. I have been on many tours, and this one stands out for its overall quality.

  I am so glad I chose Mubus for my Mutianyu Great Wall tour. Our guide, Kevin, made that happen. His passion for history was evident in every story he told. He was professional in his delivery but also very enthusiastic, which made his explanations engaging and fun. The Mubus facility at the Great Wall was another highlight. The waiting room was not just a room; it was a clean, comfortable, and spacious lounge. It felt great to have a "home base" where we could leave our extra bags and relax. The lunch was a delightful experience. The food was served on a lazy susan, and we shared many delicious dishes. It was a great way to try local cuisine in a comfortable setting. Kevin checked on everyone during the meal to make sure we were all happy. Thanks for everyone from Mubus team.

  John was such an awesome guide for our Mutianyu Great Wall trip! He knew so much about the history—like how the wall worked for ancient China’s defense, how tough it must’ve been to build on those bumpy hills, and which dynasties helped make it what it is today. Finding the meeting point was a easy , too—it’s Exit B at Dongzhimen Station. Following the subway signs to Exit B underground is easy peasy, and even if the exit itself isn’t super obvious once you’re almost above ground, you’ll spot Mubus staff right away in their bright red vests. No way you’ll miss ’em! And Mubus (that’s John’s company) is top-notch—they’re really organized and totally care about their customers. They’ve got their own spot near the Great Wall with a comfy waiting lounge, which was perfect to chill in after a full day of hiking.

  John was an exceptional guide who made our Mutianyu tour both educational and incredibly fun. His passion for the Great Wall was contagious, and his deep knowledge of its history and architecture was impressive. John’s speech began by giving us a comprehensive overview of the wall’s origins and evolution, then pointed out the highlighted key landmarks. He explained the function of each feature—from the crenellations for defense to the beacon towers for signaling—and shared fascinating anecdotes about life on the wall. What’s more, John’s company Mubus is truly a reputable and capable brand! They have their own dedicated facilities near the Great Wall, with a comfortable waiting lounge that’s a total highlight. After the tiring hike, it was such a relief to relax there before our return journey—spacious, cozy, and equipped with free tea and snacks that hit the spot. We left Mutianyu with wonderful memories, a newfound love for Chinese history, and full praise for both John and Mubus. We couldn’t recommend them more highly.p

  Guide John exceeded all expectations with his professionalism and charm during our Mutianyu tour. His historical knowledge was impressive—he broke down the wall’s strategic importance, construction techniques, and restoration efforts in clear, engaging terms, weaving in lesser-known anecdotes that brought the stones to life. John was also a gifted photographer, capturing stunning group shots against the mountain backdrop, Before hiking, we could enjoy complimentary tea,mineral water, snacks in the MuBus building. John’s friendly demeanor and dedication to guest satisfaction made us feel like we were exploring with a local friend—we couldn’t imagine a better guide for Mutianyu.

  Our guide John was absolutely outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly attentive, turning our Mutianyu Great Wall tour into one of the most memorable experiences of our China trip. On the bus,he shared fascinating insights about Beijing’s history and the significance of the Great Wall. He shared vivid stories about the soldiers who once guarded these ramparts, the construction techniques used centuries ago, and how the Great Wall evolved over time, making the history come alive in a way that no guidebook ever could, setting the perfect tone for the day. He also helped us book cablecar and toboggan tickets on the way, saving us precious time that would have otherwise been wasted waiting in long queues.

  The whole trip was really great. John was lovely and spoke perfect English on the bus ride there. The bus left on time and was easy to find. Upon arrival we were shown into a very modern building owned by the company, given a brief overview and then sent on a short ride to the cable cars / chair lift. The wall was spectacular - I’ll say no more about that. I rode the toboggan down which was playful and a really fun way to end the trip. Having the base around lots of other buildings was really nice and the bus home also left on time. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

  Jily was extremely kind, informative and accommodative during our trip to the Mutianyu portion of the Great Wall. You can tell she cares about her profession! They gave us plenty of time to explore and I was able to do both sides of Mutianyu. They make all the ticketing for the various services very easy. I definitely recommend this especially for those on a tight budget - you get to do a lot!
