All of our tour guides are Bay Area Natives, which will help you understand what it’s like to grow up in SF and now live here as grown ups with our own families. You will enjoy an introduction to San Francisco on this 5 to 6 hour tour that includes Neighborhoods like Chinatown, North Beach, Pacific Heights and a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods National Monument. You'll be driven around the city to see its diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping several times for photo ops. At Muir Woods, admire the towering redwood trees, and visit the waterfront town of Sausalito for lunch (own expense). Works great for people coming from cruise ships. You cannot book the Alcatraz option under 4 days in advance.

In order to visit Alcatraz, you must choose the Alcatraz Option. If you do not select the Alcatraz option, we will not be able to provide admission for you to Alcatraz.
Our ticket availability for Alcatraz visits is limited, and unfortunately, we are unable to provide any extra accommodations. If the Alcatraz option is not available, it means that all tickets have been sold out.

Boasting the largest Chinatown in the United States, this 24-block mecca is bustling with energy, amazing food, and unique and colorful shops that give this area its charm.

Official Alactraz Tour : After the "SF-Woods-Sausalito" part of the tour, you will be dropped off at Alcatraz Landing where you will catch the ferry.
Duration: 3 hours: The Alcatraz Audio tour is around 90 minutes, you have an option to stay longer or take the ferry back.
Alcatraz Ferry: You will take a ferry to and from Alcatraz Island.

5.00This tour was fabulous! We chose the half day trip without Alcatraz. The fee is very fair, and I did not mind paying at Muir Woods. This was a great trip. Our Guide was terrific, you could tell he enjoyed giving the tour. We enjoyed the small tour of the city and hearing the tidbits of history from our guide. I highly recommend this tour.

4.00Our guide was excellent, he really showed passion for what he was doing and really put an effort in telling us everthying he knew. He also created a playlist of songs related to the things we were seeing. The trip went also very smoothly, we did have some limited time in Muir Woods but it was just enough to make the trails snd ejoy the sights. If I had to say something, and it would be because I am nitpicking because we loved it, I wish I would have been able to hear better the tour guide when we were in the bus. The windows were open and while driving I heard more of the outside than him. But overall an amazing experience and for sure to be recommended!!!

5.00Awesome experience! Tour guide Per was tremendous. Made the atmosphere extra special, welcoming, fun, and informative. Very good value overall. This was our second tour on our 3-day trip and it worked out so perfectly since there is so much to see and do in the Bay Area - what we missed on the first tour we saw on this one! Nice size group of 10-12 folks that gave you the ideal blend of solo/group time. Would definitely recommend and do again next time!
