You are going to Sausalito for lunch. It would be better to research lunch opportunities before you get on the bus.

Brendan is an amazing guide! His knowledge of San Francisco layered with humor and historical context makes for a superb experience. I HIGHLY recommend this excursion. Planned with just the right amount of time at each stop.

We just spent the day with Brendan as our guide and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We have visited San Francisco many times over the years, yet never toured Alcatraz or Muir Woods so we booked the experience with SF Excursions. Meet up instructions were clear and the day was off to a fun start with Brendan’s humor and darling dog Cici. The bus was clean and bottled water and a variety of snacks were always available. Brendan shared factual city history and commentary throughout the day. The agenda was packed so stops stayed on schedule but he had a way of keeping it fun and the group moving without feeling rushed. Nice bonus — he knows all the best spots to capture pictures and took some of the best photos my husband and I have ever gotten of us together. We absolutely recommend using SF Excursions for small group sight seeing tours. It was an easy way to see multiple sites in one day and it was a day we will long remember.

The sites were beautiful and the information was good. I was late on one stop. The driver called one of the ladies that was with me. Yelling and swearing. I understand if we’re late we have to provide our own way back. I don’t agree in the way he yelled and used fowl language. That was unprofessional.

You will get to see a quick glimpse of most San Francisco attractions. The guide was entertaining, gave clear narrations and instructions and made the experience fun. The transport was clean and well maintained.

We had a day to pass in San Francisco to break up a much longer trip. This was a perfect way to enjoy the city and Sausalito. Muir Woods was a magical place, and despite the dreary weather, we had a lovely experience. Alex was a fantastic tour guide, and as a native, he was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city. Overall, I would highly recommend.
