5.00The whole experience will sit with you long after the tour is over. It was an eye opening experience and a safe way to witness the every day lives of the people of Mumbai. The real Mumbai. A truly industrious city. Our guide Javed was excellent and very kind and helpful in answering all our questions. He navigated us through the Dabbawalas, Dhobi Ghat and Dharavi. The train ride was also a wonderful experience.

5.00I booked the walking tour for myself and 3 friends. We were very excited to see and learn all we could and we were not disappointed. Our guide Shuban was excellent. He was informative from the very beginning. He patiently answered all of our questions. We experienced the train to Mahim. Saw the Dabawala/ Dhobighat and walked to the Dharavi Slums. Shuban was very knowledgeable & able to explain the history. We saw how the people worked and lived. Would definitely recommend.

He explained everything clearly and with great passion, sharing deep insights into Dharavi’s hardworking community, the world-famous efficiency of the Dabbawalas, and the fascinating daily life at Dhobi Ghat. His knowledge, patience, and friendly nature made the tour both educational and enjoyable. Jawwad made sure we felt comfortable throughout, answered all our questions, and showed us the real spirit of Mumbai beyond the typical tourist spots. The tour was well organized and perfectly paced.
