What To Expect

Begin your Oktoberfest experience with a guided tour and learn all about the history, heritage and traditions behind the world’s biggest beer festival. Take a spin on the famous Oktoberfest Ferris wheel for a bird’s eye view of the entire festival ground — a great way to get your bearings before getting the first round in! At midday, follow your guide and find your reserved seats in the lively Hofbräu tent, sister to Munich's famous Hofbräuhaus brewery. The Hofbräu tent is the biggest of the festival, boasting a total capacity of almost 10,000. Your first 2 litres of beer and half a roast chicken (mandatory when reserving tables at the Oktoberfest!) are included, and your table is reserved for approximately five hours. With live entertainment provided by the festival’s Hofbräu-Festzelt brass band, let loose and enjoy Oktoberfest to the full with your friends. Dancing on the tables is by no means compulsory, but it’s certainly encouraged! After approximately 7 hours inside the festival, exit to conclude your tour.

This tour is a MUST. What a fantastic time we had soaking up the Bavarian Oktoberfest atmosphere, great food and of course some wonderful beer! This was our third tour with our host Daniel who is the best guide, with his historical and interesting facts, fun and kindness. We are booking a repeat for September 2025. Happy Days!!!

I’m simply NOT going to take another Oktoberfest tour with this company. The guide was fine but the REQUIREMENT to wear a flipping cookie around my next for the first two hours was too much. Don’t take this tour.

10/10 would recommend. Yes it's pricey but I left planning our trip to Germany til the last min. You meet at the radius tour office where you collect your vouchers and Lebkuchenherz specific to the tour group. Was perfect it says oktoberfest and the year so it is a great keepsake. They break you up into smaller groups of about 30 and you are off to Wiesn. We took a walking tour of the tents and then the carnival area. Our guide was personable and was a wealth of information about Oktoberfest. Noon we were in the Hofbräu tent with our reserved tables. Our tables were held for us until 5 pm so it was nice to go out and try other places and go on rides. The vouchers were the only annoying part they don't cover the service charge for the item. You also don't have to get the chicken, we opted for one chicken and tried the wiener schnitzel. You just pay the difference in price. But that's life. The tent was lovely and lively. This was a trip for my husbands birthday so I wanted to be sure he had a dedicated seat in a large tent to enjoy the experience. Great time with a great tour group.

Really fun experience. Good access to nice area of tent. Lunch was a perfect time to take kids and enjoy a lighter side of Oktoberfest. Adults might prefer evening event. Very fun. Timmy was good guide.
