It’s a nice boat ride, but not enough time to eat a lunch and make it back to the boat in either stop.

The guide never accompanied us to any of the sites nor give us a map on how to get them. Our directions consisted of go left, then right, then left again to find the lace factory. We got lost. When we saw the time we raced back to the dock to only watch the boat leaving. We were not late as my watch was 5 minutes fast. We arrived on the hour. Not early, but not late. We did not receive our money back for the trip nor for the vaparato we had to pay for to get us back to Venice. I have always been happy with Viator excursions but unhappy with the way we were treated on this excursion and on my complaint.

Would not do this again! Boat was packed and hot like a sauna. We took boat over and walked through glass blowing factory then took water taxi back.

Unfortunately, and this is not Viator’s fault, we didn’t make it to the tour we’re booked on. The public water taxi kept bypassing us on the purpose because we were tourists. They have priorities to their locals at the other lane. It took about 5-6 water taxis before they finally stopped at our lane. We waited for about an hour hence we missed our scheduled tour. We finally understood and were told we were on the tourist lane. So note to self and to others for future reference. We ended up paying for another tour to join so we could go to the islands. So unfortunately I can’t rate Viator’s since we weren’t on the tour with them.

Again the tour was operated by a local company and directions to the meet-up location was sketchy at best we were there as the directions said but I guess we should have known to walk a kilometre away to where the boat with another name was docked. After talking with another couple who were standing waiting I started to ask around to other tour operators. I found one that could help and reschedule us for the last tour of the day. The tour was great but finding the meet up place was tough. Next time I will wait until I get to the location and book my tours. The stress level was really high!!! I doubt I will use Viator again

Listen very carefully, you may not catch the changes in language. The accent was difficult to understand at times.

Murano is a complete disappointment. Only one factory with not enough inventory. We would not do this again.

To begin with, the organization is disastrous. On the coupon it puts starting point in front of the station of Alilaguna de San Marcos, but it does not say that you have to take your ticket and there is no one there informing you. On the other hand, you take the excursion with the Spanish language, and the reality is that the excursion is multi-language, it explains everything in English, Italian and finally Spanish, when things have already happened and you do not have them present to see them, plus in English it explains many more things and give much more data than in Spanish.
