If you are an avid lover of ancient history than My Son Sanctuary is a must see! It was once a place of worship where the Cham-Pa (known as Cham people, today) would make sacrifices to the Gods.Built between the 4th – 13th century A.D., this famous architectural complex of the Cham was built to worship the god Shiva. My Son was recognised as a world cultural heritage site in 1999 by UNESCO.
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel by car for the drive to Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary, which takes about 1 hour.
Upon arrival, the guide will spend approximately 2 hours explaining the techniques used to build the temples and details about Champa culture.
After the tour, you will drive back to your hotel, which takes about 1 hour. The tour ends upon your return."

My Son Sanctuary
If you are an avid lover of ancient history, then Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary is a must-see! Located in the upper area of the Thu Bồn River, near Đà Nẵng City and about 20 km west of Trà Kiệu Citadel, Mỹ Sơn is a cluster of Hindu temples in Duy Phú Commune, Duy Xuyên District. Once a sacred site for the Cham people (known today as Cham), it was used for making sacrifices to the gods. Built between the 4th and 13th centuries A.D., this renowned architectural complex was dedicated to the god Shiva. Our guide will provide insights into Cham history and their Hindu worship practices. Additionally, you will have the chance to watch a traditional Cham dance performance. Recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1999, Mỹ Sơn is a fascinating destination.

5.00Ready and waiting for our early pick up, which was so worth it to see the area wake up, get to school and get about day to day business. Addititionally we had the sanctuary to ourselves, we could enjoy our guide's re-telling of the Sanctuary history, recent history and restoration. A very special place, guide and visit - highly recommended.

5.00Lovely tour with Man today. He knew exactly where to go to avoid the crowds and give us a detailed explanation of the history of the site and all of the beautiful and intricate religious symbols there. Definitely worth the easy trip out of Hoi An!

5.00I highly recommend our guide Tai. He was very knowledgeable and took good care of us. I definitely recommend going early, we left at 7 am as we almost had the sanctuary to ourselves and it was much cooler. As we left there were long lines to get in! We had a great experience.

5.00Tai is an exceptional guide and well worth the money. He kept us informed from the minute we made the booking and could not have done any more to make our visit more enjoyable. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of My Son from its creation right through to the recent restoration work, and he brings energy and fun into how he shares this knowledge with you. He gives you time on your own for photos and reflection. I can't recommend this tour highly enough
I would unhesitatingly recommend everyone to take this trip.

5.00Our guide picked us up early as agreed to get to the temples before the crowds and this worked a treat. Tai was both knowledgeable, professional and very helpful in explaining the site, the history and the culture. His timing was exceptional as we hit every live demonstration almost as they began, which really streamlined our time without missing a thing. His photo spots showed his knowledge and the attention to detail on this site shone through. Definitely worth paying the extra and getting a private guide to get there early before the tour buses arrive.
