On the way back to hotel, we have 30 minutes enjoy the fresh air and river view on the wooden boat.

What To Expect
My Son Sanctuary
Start your day with a journey through ancient history and authentic Vietnamese culinary culture! At 7:30 AM, our English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby. From there, we head toward the My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a treasure trove of ancient Cham architecture. Accompanied by your guide, you’ll walk through the sacred ruins dating back to the 13th century, once the spiritual and political capital of the Champa Kingdom. Your guide will explain the symbolism and history of the intricate brick towers, temples, and monuments - each with its own fascinating story and spiritual significance. While there, enjoy a traditional Cham dance performance - a captivating display of local costumes, music, and cultural expression passed down through generations. Around 11:00 AM, we depart from My Son and head to a local family home for a delicious lunch and a hands-on cultural activity.

Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn how to make fresh rice noodles - the essential ingredient in Vietnam’s world-famous phở. These soft, silky noodles are what give phở its signature texture and taste. Guided step-by-step, you’ll discover how simple ingredients like rice flour and water are transformed into perfect noodle sheets — fresh, preservative-free, and full of traditional flavor. Of course, you'll get to taste your handmade phở afterward!

4.00My Son Sanctuary is a very unique place. Loved it and learned so much about the history . As this is an honest review I must address the lunch. It was extremely disappointing, the worst I have had. The food was bland and not enjoyable. We have had some incredible meals on the tours I have been on. Thankfully the tour was was about My Son Sanctuary and not the food.

5.00I did two tours with this company, and both were excellent. Tin and Cam were incredible guides. Tin took my group through Marble Mountain, Am Phu cave and the Monkey Mountains. The next day, Cam took us to My Son as well as the Vietnamese lunch and boat tour. And, as luck would have it, I saw Tin again on that tour too! I am so thankful to Tin and Cam for showing me around beautiful Da Nang and Hoi An. I hope to see them again next time!
