An amazing sunset is just the beginning of a dazzling evening under the stars at Maui's longest-running luau, where beach-side seating, free-flowing drinks, all-you-care-to-eat buffet dinner, and authentic Polynesian dance combine for the perfect Hawaiian evening.
Your evening begins with a cold beverage and photo opportunities as you enjoy watching the sun dip behind the horizon of the Pacific Ocean. The dinner buffet features authentic Hawaiian fare including kalua pork cooked in a traditional imu, an underground oven that cooks the meat to tender perfection. There's even a kids' buffet featuring chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and Maui potato chips.
After dinner, the stage comes alive with rhythmic drumming, traditional Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan, and Maori performances and thrilling fire-knife dances. With vivid choreography and mesmerizing music, the show does more than entertain—it also tells the stories and legends of the islands.

I enjoyed the show. The food was very good. It was a little cold which I hadn't prepared for, but the setting was very nice right on the beach.

My wife and I attend Luau's each time we visit the islands and that has been basically every year for the past 15 years minus the Covid years 2019 and 2020. This Luau is just average. Pig was BLAND, Chicken was dry, and the only good thing on the buffet was the Mahi Mahi . Overall, NOT IMPRESSED.

My husband and I brought our 3 daughters to the luau. We knew when booking that this was not known as one of the best or most authentic luaus, but chose it because we could easily walk from our accommodations at The Honua Kai and we knew our girls were going to think it was fun no matter what. Based on reviews, we arrived right at 5 PM. We were pleasantly surprised when we were brought in at 5:15 and told we were upgraded to VIP. We were immediately served drinks and welcomed to the buffet. We really enjoyed the fresh flower leis we were given and we thought the buffet was surprisingly good. Right at the beginning, there were some activities like a woman braiding grass bracelets and someone giving airbrush tattoos, but we were disappointed that these shut down very quickly , so there was no way to do everything. My biggest complaint about the night was how fast it all moved. We felt rushed trying to enjoy everything. The show was amazing in a very cheesy way. My kids really liked that it was interactive and they learned a little dance. The highlight for them was definitely the fire part at the end. As we left, they got a photo with a couple dancers. Overall, this was a good one-time experience.

Very entertaining and fun. Gets really chilly outside after sunset, bring a jacket. Would do it again.

It was awesome! Would only do VIP! It was the best. Warren kept bringing us whatever we needed. He’s the best!

Definitely not vip experience. We paid $541.00 for 2 people. When we arrived, we walked by the food buffet and the staff was fanning the flies off the food. There was so many flies, we were really grossed out. We didn’t eat. When we left, we had to go somewhere else to eat. The show was just ok. The lady that did the MC was horrible. Lightning of the show was very unprofessional. Dancers was just ok. I would not recommend going to this venue. I have been to a luau before that was much better. The drinks were not very good. Our waiter was not very good. Mark Penna They should refund my money. Very disappointed

I’m writing a four only because the food was just OK. I guess it as expected for an all you can eat place. I do not drink, but I know they had an open bar which to most people is pretty awesome.

They were a little disorganized. Ran out of flower leis and allowed another group to take our table spots while we were in line for drinks.

It starts at 5:30 but get there at 5:00 or earlier for good seats if in general seating. First hour is for eating. Ordering drinks is tough as the servers are just outside taking pictures and letting people in. They’ll take a group photo when you come in ands later sell it to you for 20bucks. Worth it! There’s a long line to order alcohol at first, unless your server is available and can come take your order. Drinks are pretty good. Ahi tuna is the best. Buffet has chicken, ahi tuna, pulled pork for proteins. Then there macaroni salad, regular salads and bread. Including two different options for dessert.

The show was good. The food was fine. The story and the dancers were great! I would recommend taking a light sweater. The show is interactive at times so be prepared to have a good time. The dancers with the dark backdrop near the ocean was my favorite part.
