Always on time, the tour was good as far as what we saw… the only issue was with the lunch provided, which included just one option, and we were not able to eat the sandwiches at the thermal baths, we were told that we needed to eat at the parking lot…. I suggest in the future to provide a voucher from the cafeteria at the baths, this way we would be allowed to eat our lunch inside

This tour was a mess. We were held 15 minutes past the start time to fill the bus, cutting our time at the waterfall to under 40 minutes. The guide parked far from the falls, with no access to river level. The bus driver didn’t know how to turn on the A/C, and when we complained, we got an excuse about Icelanders not being used to heat—though it eventually came on. At the baths, we found out the company had booked the wrong time, and we’d have to wait an hour, which would’ve made us late for our ship’s 3:30 all-aboard. The tour director argued and told us to stay from 1:30 to 3, despite the travel time. We skipped the baths—the main reason we booked the tour. This was advertised as a six-hour excursion, but the highlight was missed. I don’t think I should have to pay for this.

This was a disaster. We were promised we would be back in time for our ship leaving. We were guaranteed that 3 times. We then left 20min late because the company decided to combine two tours (still promising our return in time). When we dropped them off he said we wouldn’t pick them back up until 14:30, which puts us dangerously close to our 15:30 all aboard. When we arrived at the baths, that is when we were again assured even with him then telling us we wouldn’t leave the baths until 14:30, 15 minutes away from where we dropped the others off. We then found out of the tour company booked us for 13:30 for the baths instead of 12-12:30 entry. To which then the Norwegian Prima people were getting nervous and frustrated. We inquired about returning and it was met with a bit of confusion/false reassurance that then turned to the realization of what we were saying to our bus driver (as the guide was conducting the OTHER tour at the other stop and wasn’t present). When he called the tour operator we then had a 20min back and forth about when our boarding time for the boat was where he told us that the ship was “wrong” and we had until 17:30 which is completely false. Then we were told we needed to find our own way back (by the tour operator) and this felt confirmed when the new bath departure time was 15:00 for the other guests. After more discussion by multiple guests it was then decided that we would get back on the bus (the 13 of us from the Norwegian Prima). Given we made additional stops that weren’t planned, there was so much stress that kids were literally crying thinking we would miss the boat (we are going to Norway so a bus wouldn’t have helped us to the next port), and we were told we were wrong and everything was fine when for sure we would have not made it back and missed the boat (by the company)- I definitely feel skeptical recommending this to anyone. I am still waiting to hear about a refund but my friend is already struggling to get anything back more than the cost of the bath tickets.

Be prepared for annoying bugs. Hope for a windy day. The guide left the bus with 5 people and we were left with the bus driver to take us to the baths . The wrong time was booked. We were told 12:30- 2:30. When we arrived we found out our time was 1:30 cutting our stay to one hour . We were finally able to go in at 1:00. The driver told us to meet him at 3:00. A number of guests were on a ship with an all aboard time of 3:30 so they had to be taken back to their ship. Which left us without a bus . Which we heard had a problem and they sent a bus from another company. Luckily most of us were ready for a 2:30 departure because that was the original plan and we were afraid to trust the 3:00 time . The new driver was ready at 2:30 not 3:00.
