  We had a fantastic time at our cooking class. The other reviews are right, it’s definitely worth it. Aside from being able to create classic recipes, the whole experience was fantastic. So engaging and entertaining. Highly recommend!

  This is a 11 out of 10! Nabiel was fantastic! He has a great personality and from the time he opened the door until we left made us all feel welcome and involved. We took the U1 from our hotel and it was a short walk from the Karlsplatz station. We arrived almost 30 minutes early and he opened up for us. The place was easy enough to find. I can't say enough about the way he interacted with all of the guests. The kitchen, cooking utensils, dining room and restrooms were spotless. He probably had the cleanest exhaust hood that I have ever seen. It was obvious that he takes great pride in the cleanliness of his establishment. We loved that he started the class by making all of the guests wash their hands. Ice cold beer, soft drinks, of "bubbly" followed. Nabiel, learned the name of every guest and referred to them by name the entire night. The class itself was fun. The kitchen work groups were small enough that everyone was involved. I liked that he had the apples pre-cut and the ingredients premeasured. Everyone enjoyed hammering the veal and dunking it. Naibel handled the frying so, you don't have to worry about spatter. His potato salad was fantastic. Everything in the class was explained and fun. Everyone participated and the jokes flowed. The food was hot when served and there was enough that you left full. Don't bawk at the cost. You have to pay to eat dinner someplace while on vacation and Nabiel lets you have a great time doing it.   If you like to bake or cook or eat or just want to have a great time, Nabiel's Vienna Cooking Class is for you! Nabiel will keep you laughing while actually teaching you how to make a delicious apple strudel. Then he will show you step by step how to make schnitzel and then, you get to actually make your own. Drinks flow, a group of strangers become friends, laughter is heard and to top it off, you get the best meal and dessert to enjoy at the end. We didn't make the parsley potatoes that accompanied our schnitzel but they were the cherry on top! My husband still talks about how good they were. We both had a great time and we are excited about trying to make both strudel and schnitzel together in our own kitchen. Thank you Nabiel for welcoming strangers into your restaurant, sharing your secrets and making us all feel completely at home. What a great experience!

  We had an incredible time at Nabiel’s cooking school last night 👨‍🍳✨ Over the course of three delicious hours, we learned how to prepare traditional Viennese schnitzel 🥩 and a homemade apple strudel 🍎🥧. The focus on technique made all the difference—every texture, crunch, and flavor came together perfectly 😋. Chef Nabiel kept us fully engaged and laughing the entire time 😂. He’s not only an excellent instructor but also genuinely funny, which made the experience even more enjoyable. He guided us with confidence, reassured us with our techniques, and made sure we felt ready to create the perfect Viennese dinner and dessert 🎉. His passion for teaching and his warm, welcoming personality shone through in every moment. The champagne toast 🥂 was the perfect finishing touch to a memorable evening. When in Vienna, this is an absolute must 🇦🇹✨ I highly, highly recommend booking this tour! 🙌💕

  There’s a reason Nabiel’s class is rated so high - WORTH IT! Go and be prepared for a wonderful class where Nabiel will walk you through HOW you can make amazingly crispy schnitzel and apple strudel. You get hands on pans (YOU make the strudel and schnitzel) for an authentic cooking of these most popular dishes in Vienna. Nabiel inserts humor, authenticity, instructions, and works with you while you make your dinner - he insures you get everything you want out of the class. Very laid back, fun, and even with other strangers you will enjoy your time there. If we come back to Vienna - plan on seeing us Nabiel!

  Can’t say enough good things about this class! My husband and daughter attended with me on Thanksgiving. Nabiel was a fantastic host-even had us make Turkey schnitzel. Nice touch. Also has a great sense of humor! Much fun had by all. Shout out to the Canadian and Illinois families that also attended. Such a nice group. Reminded us that we have so much in common! Merry Christmas!

  Nabiel welcomed us to his restaurant with open arms. He was very entertaining and enjoyed telling stories of his cooking life. We, our group of six, and and another couple made “crispy as hell” schnitzel and apple strudel…and yes, we made the dough for the strudel. There was plenty of wine, laughter, conversation, and, of course, great food! Things were so great, we are going to Nabiel’s restaurant this evening to try his macaroni and cheese.
