Our meeting time on our ticket was 08.40. The coach did not arrive till 09.00. The coach driver was great, very friendly and informative. We went to 3 wineries and having done wine tours in a number of European vineyards, this was nothing like we had experienced previously. The 1st at Jacuzzi was a history lesson on the Jacuzzi family and no explanation on the wines. The wines we did taste were nice but we learnt nothing about them. The next 2 were better with a bit on production methods and terroir/climate etc. in summary if you want to party and have a load of wine this is your trip but if you are interested in learning about wine then maybe not. As said the driver was great and after asking which stop was best to get off for Chinatown, he advised he would drop us off on the way which was over and above.

The vineyards were a good experience, however that bus should not be allowed for road trips, its was unbearable, it was like a sauna in that bus. The driver was excellent and he gave a great tour and was very thorough, kind and pleasant, it is not safe to ride elderly in that condition.

Great experience overall—highly recommend this Napa and Sonoma day trip. One small improvement would be to provide each guest with a water bottle and a light snack (like chips), since there’s a few hours before the lunch stop and staying hydrated is especially important with wine tastings. The first stop (Jacuzzi) and the second (Artesa) were definitely the highlights—both were beautiful and offered a great experience. The third stop (Madonna), however, didn’t quite compare and could be skipped in favor of a stronger winery to round out the day.

This was a great way to experience sonoma and Napa valleys. This is perfect if you are hoteling in downtown cos they have a pickup location there (as well as fisherman wharf). It was a comfy bus with abt 20 ppl. Stopped first at a view point of Golden gate for 10 mins. Then an hour drive to winery #1. We went to la Rosche, BR Cohn and maddona for an hour each. And spent about 1.5 hrs at sonoma square for lunch. We travelled with kids 3.5 M and 2 F. The rosche and maddona were very kid friendly. Rosche had the best views with open sitting area with tastings happening in unrestricted outdoorsy environment. They also had the perfect amount of information to share on wine making (not too preachy). Mark led that and was awesome. They were also fairly generous with the variety and quantity of pours. BR cohn had a similar outdoory area but for some reason seated us in a small area near the parking lot for majority of the duration. They were also a bit restrictive. We travelled in march so the vines were just starting to bud out. Not much foliage to see unfortunately. We only glimpsed napa valley (maddona). It seemed nicer than sonoma valley. Tips - no food at any locations. Rosche had some snackers (cheese, pretzels, etc) for purchase. Plan accordingly. Sonama square had a lot of food options. Also a nice play ground for little ones. One the way back- we hopped off at fischerman warf and took a cable car back to union square for the iconic views.

This was a great tour. Our stop took us to Artesa! I cannot say enough good things about this stop. Beautiful location, knowledgeable tour guide and of courses amazing wines! I will say do research on where to grab a bite to eat at Sanoma Square. The last winery was whatever but their wines were delicious. Would highly recommend if you’re in a pinch and want to go to some wineries !
