  Toshi was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable. The deer are everywhere and friendly. The Buddha in Todai ji temple is impressive, a must see. Be prepared to do a lot of walking.

  Junichi is such a fantastic guide, our family( parents and a high schooler boy ) had an unforgettable tour in Nara! Even long before the tour, Junichi reached out to us to try to understand our interests and expectations. As this is the first time for us to visit Japan, he provided us tons of great information about how to prepare the trip in Japan, like SUICA card, taxi apps, cash exchange and so on, which turned out to be lifesaving for us during the stay. As he grows up in Nara, he is highly knowledgeable, and passionate too, shared a wealth of historical facts of the area, which enriched our experience tremendously! He also took us to some fun places, like mochi store (even though we missed the famous mochi pounding scene but the freshly pounded mochi is so delicious! ), Katana collection and a historical house of Merchant….. Highly recommended for history and culture enthusiasts!

  Our guide, Ken, was amazing. Great english. Deep knowledge of the Japanese history and of the sites visited. Gave us very valuable insights on the Japanese culture. Answered all of our questions. So friendly and helpful. He made our day an amazing one. Nara and its park and shrines/temple was great

  We highly recommend Toshi as a guide!! He lived in the USA for 8 years, so his English is perfect!! He was very easy to understand and very knowledgeable of the area and the history of Nara. We covered a lot of ground on our walking tour. We loved the deer and Toshi recommended a yummy place for lunch. Highly recommend this tour!

  Loved our tour and in particular our tour guide Junichi. As a former English professor and teacher his English was fantastic. And he had such an energy about him. Super knowledgeable about history and culture, took me to a small sale tasting bar and my son to a sword museum where he got to meet a master and hold one.. overall awesome. Request Junichi!
