We went there when it was raining. At first, I thought it wouldn't be fun because I personally don't really like the rain, but the guide made it a lot better. I’ve been traveled around Japan a lot (with guides) and this trip is one of the best I’ve had experienced! And for Nara, it’s beautiful as always :-)

It was a wonderful experience exploring Nara while gaining a deeper understanding of its history and culture. Yoshimi-san was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions clearly and thoughtfully. The route was very well planned, allowing us to enjoy many different perspectives of Nara. The tempura don for lunch was delicious; honestly one of the best tempura meals I’ve ever had. All the ingredients were fresh, and the staff took great care to ensure everything was served perfectly. We also had the opportunity to join a furoshiki class, and received a meaningful souvenir at the end. The explanation of how to use furoshiki was very practical and useful for everyday life. Finally, we enjoyed strolling around Naramachi, the beautiful old town, even got to experience entering one of the machiya in town. The souvenir shops were unique and antique, and the shop owners were very friendly. I truly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.

The tour was very fun and informative. If I had gone alone, I would not have known the history of the places that we visited. I really enjoyed the furoshiki workshop because it was very useful to know how one piece of cloth can be used in many different ways.

We had a great time on this Nara walking tour. It was very well paced and never felt rushed, which made it easy to really enjoy the temples, the park, and the overall atmosphere of Nara. Seeing places like Todai-ji and Kasuga Taisha was impressive, and walking through Nara Park with the deer was a fun and memorable experience. The furoshiki activity was simple but really interesting, and it was nice to take something home that represents a traditional part of Japanese culture. Lunch was also very good fresh, seasonal, and nicely presented. Our guide, Koji San, made a big difference. He was very patient, spoke excellent English, and explained things clearly and calmly. He was always happy to answer questions and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the tour. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. Overall, this was a relaxed, informative, and enjoyable way to experience Nara. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you want a small-group tour with a great guide.

I had a wonderful experience on the Nara Walking Tour by Japan Wonder Travel, my guide was Koji-san. The tour itinerary was well organized and truly enjoyable. I went on a Sunday morning with perfect weather so walking around Nara was pleasant and relaxing. Koji-san was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He was very well prepared and brought printed papers to help explain the history of Japan. He talked about samurai periods, the history of Japan, and the foundations of Buddhism in Japan. We talked about religions in Japan, Japanese people's belief and customs. We were able to understand the cultural and historical significance, making the experience much more meaningful than simply seeing the temple. The itinerary was excellent and well balanced. We had plenty of time to walk around the Tōdai-ji, see the deers, take pictures. We also explored Naramachi and visited an old traditional house. He explained and taught us Japanese words for special places in the house We enjoyed delicious tempura meal for lunch then, we attended a furoshiki class, where we learned how to use traditional Japanese gift wrapping with cloths and get to bring one home as souvenir. This hands-on activity was both fun and informative, and it was something I would never have discovered without joining the tour. I joined Japan Wonder Travel many times as a solo traveler and I ended up making new friends along the way. The group was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend to solo travelers, as the atmosphere is always warm and social. Overall, this was an amazing day trip to Nara, and I highly recommend it to tourists staying in Kyoto or Osaka. It is less crowded than Kyoto so you can take a lot of pictures, I recommend going during autumn. Having a knowledgeable guide like Koji-san makes a huge difference. It was a memorable, enriching, and enjoyable experience. Thank you Koji san

It was such a fun experience! Before I applied, I thought it was just going to be a regular walk around the tourist spots. But it turned out to be so much more than that! I didn’t expect there would be so many fun activities and new things to learn. Our guide was friendly, entertaining, and super helpful!! We never felt bored the entire time because he made everything so enjoyable. Thank you!!!
