This whiskey tour is rolling straight into Lynchburg from Nashville. You can hop on the bus, kick back, and enjoy the ride to the historic and picturesque Jack Daniel's Distillery. You'll have time to peruse downtown Lynchburg, just a 5-minute walk from the distillery, and grab a quick bite to eat. We've got some suggestions! Don't forget to stop in the White Rabbit Bottle Shop and grab some limited bottles of whiskey.

This is a 21 years old and up event. Minimum drinking age is 21 years. Valid government issued photo IDs are required to participate on tour.

You will either be transported by our coach bus or 15 passenger van depending on the size of group

Tours run rain or shine, snow and sleet, hot and cold. Dress appropriately.

Guests wishing to dine at Miss Mary Bobo's restaurant must make reservations in advance on the Jack Daniel's website for 11am and inform their driver when boarding the bus.

You will be required to ascend and descend many steps. This tour is not recommended for those with mobility challenges.

Bit of a long drive but with a fun driver, great tunes, and some fun drinks we brought along, it made for a quick arrival! The tour was very interesting, seeing the behind the scenes of how JD is made was really cool, going into the distillery and seeing the detail involved with the making was a neat experience. Keep in mind there’s a few flights of stairs to tackle (we had called about wheelchair access for one of our group members and were told it wouldn’t be a problem, and it most definitely was. The person couldn’t do the tour and the company didn’t refund us the ticket even though she couldn’t do the tour for obvious reasons. Very disappointing given they gave us the green light for wheelchair access over the phone weeks in advance). There’s lots of downtime time for shopping at the town but I’d recommend to consider a reservation at Miss Mary Bobo’s to kill some time until departure otherwise you’re waiting around for hours before/after your tour. Miss Mary Bobo’s was great!! The food was delicious, the decor beautiful, and the service and stories shared were amazing! There’s also a very cute gift shop you have to check out before leaving!

This is a great tour, excellent guides. My only complaint is that it's nearly a 2 hour bus ride and they won't make a bathroom stop. We hit traffic coming back into Nashville on the way home and my friend and I had to go so bad.... Just had to sit there and suffer. It's so hot and you're tasting whiskey and drinking water. It doesn't matter if you "plan accordingly" like they say, anything over an hour and I need to go again.

The Jack Daniel’s tour is a lot of fun! It’s all very well run. Morgan our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny and also works in the distillery, not only a tour guide. If you’re staying in Nashville, no problem. There is a shuttle that takes you down to Lynchburg. Also the charming town center next to the distillery is worth checking out with all the little shops. This experience is def worth your time. Also check out the bottle shop as you will find varieties of Jack you won’t find anywhere else. Or early releases. What’s cool is Jack Daniel’s is getting into to the craft sprints game which make things more interesting.
