What To Expect
Just minutes after leaving Nassau you'll be snorkeling through an undersea extravaganza of living coral and tropical marine life. Your captain will choose two of the clearest and calmest locations on the day to begin your snorkeling adventure. Then, if the weather permits, you'll go for a snorkel with your guide as sharks swim calmly below you. Or, if you prefer, you can watch the sharks being fed from the boat. Sharks are one of the most fascinating marine animals you will ever see, and on this cruise you'll see them up close and personal in perfect safety. Participant requirements: • Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian • Children under the age of four not permitted • Participants must have good physical healthWorry-free Shore Excursion: We will ensure your timely return to Nassau for this activity. 3.00A decent fun snorkel adveture, you go to 3-4 different spots spending 30-40 minutes each spot. It is a let down, that they advertise this as a shark snorkel, and you only get 5-10 minutes at the shark location, first off its not even up close with them, they throw a rope out and have you hold onto it, while theres a bait box below you, then the sharks are 50-60 feet below you, and you just look down at them for 5 minutes. Then they bring everyone back on the boat and then bring the bait box up to the surface where you can see them for another 5 minutes before leaving. I was able to have them put my go pro in the water to capture some footage of them up close, but overall it was a little bit of a let down. Overall snorkling trip was fun, just sad they advertise it as a shark snorkel and you rarely get anytime with them. it also says it is a 5 hour excursion it was maybe 3 at max in the water, the location is 45min drive from the cruise ship ports.

5.00We had such a wonderful day on the water with Captain Valentino and Alexis. Every box was checked, for sure! The underwater statues, getting to swim with the sharks! The service was above and beyond right down to the shuttle bus to and from. Highly recommend!

5.00We loved our snorkeling experience with Stuart's Cove Dive, with Captain Valentino and guide Pilar. We are already planning on our next trip returning and doing it again. The staff were all knowledgeable, warm and welcoming, especially for first timers. You could tell they love what they do. They provide the snorkel, goggles, and life jacket and some instruction. To no fault of the staff, one member of our group was not a strong swimmer. With a group of fifteen, Pilar and Valentino did their best to manage everyone's enjoyment while supporting the participant who needed more assist. They were attentive, caring, and wanted everyone to have a good time. While booking the trip through our tour guide, she recommended to bring your own towel, water and snacks. Transportation to the Cove was on time and easy. There is a snack bar to purchase food/drink and restroom on location. If you have mobility or balance issues, getting on/off the boat is difficult so know your capabilities. It took about 40min to our first snorkel spot. We got picked up around 7:30am and got back to our hotel around 2pm. Buffer for extra time getting back. The fee charged was exactly as stated, plus we tipped because they were great. We'll be back!

2.00Too bad for the location that totally deserves 5 stars but the organization is so absurd and senseless in quiet conditions that I dare not think what could happen in an emergency. The excursion was totally affected by a family of 10 (4 adults and 6 children) screaming and screaming on board and kicking and disturbing in the water. All totally uncivilized such as not to have allowed a use of the excursion to the other 4 participants. The crew was unable to handle the chaos that was generated. I would not recommend and would not do it again.

5.00Guides Alexis and Valentino were excellent. The whole system was flawless. Picked us up from our hotel included in the very reasonable price. 2 gorgeous snorkel spots, 1 turtle viewing spot and even a shark encounter spot which I was not expecting. All in 4-5 hours from 8am (at hotel) to 1pm (back at hotel). Our cruise was completely by ourselves which is not great for business but I was very grateful they didn’t just cancel. Definitely a testament to a well run organization.

5.00Kareem and Alexis were the best guides. Never thought I’d ever be in the water watching sharks swim below me. I was trying to so hard to film with phone in its waterproof pouch (and failing) when Kareem wordlessly took the phone and dove down to get some incredible up close video. Definitely will be an excursion we never forget. We hit 2 more snorkel spots after that. Everyone was super friendly and very knowledgeable.

5.00It was just perfect. At the first stop we had to see the sharks, but because of the hustle and bustle of the sea we couldn’t get off. So we saw them from the boat. However, at the second spot there was a shark and even at the third. The crew is vrm top. Experts and enthusiasts in their field.

5.00We had a great time trying out Snuba! We did two dives. Dive operator Kareem guided us on both. We were so glad to have him. He is very engaging and knowledgeable. It was an amazing experience! We experienced a delay being transported from the cruise terminal to the dive shop but it was due to other clients from the cruises not showing up. Once we got to the dive shop we watched a short safety video, went over the hand signs and got our gear. We opted for not getting wet suits as the water was comfortably warm. They then took just us on a motorboat out to join the small group of 7 snorkelers and divers on the dive boat. (Which isn’t normally a part the tour, but it was a lot of fun! ) They went above and beyond to make sure that we didn’t miss any part of the dive! Overall it was a phenomenal experience and highly recommend Stuart’s Cove!
