Come snorkeling with us aboard Reef Surfari, our new 47’ power catamaran, through the Virgin Islands National Park around St. John in the beautiful USVI. We depart from our retail store Ocean Surfari in Red Hook on St Thomas at 9:00 and head to Cruz Bay to pick up our St John guests from Cruz Bay beach in front of our retail store Ocean Surfari at 9:30. From there we head to two different snorkel spots to look for sea turtles, beautiful corals and a plethora of tropical fish, typically in the Virgin Islands National Park. Our snorkel spots vary daily depending on weather and sea conditions. We have an open bar with rum punch, painkillers, cold beers, sodas and water as well as light snacks for your refreshment. Alcohol is served once you are finished swimming. After snorkeling, we return to St. John to drop off our guests at 12:00 and then back to St Thomas at 12:30.

5.00One of the best times I had while on the island!! The crew was hilarious and made the whole day so much fun. We saw so many sea turtles and fish, and even a few sharks and octopuses! If you are looking for an amazing day with great people, beautiful snorkeling, and a great rum punch this is your trip. Worth every penny and then some :)

5.00BK and Sydney were excellent guides for this excursion! They were knowledgeable and kept the vibes high. We were fortunate enough to see a couple sea turtles, sting ray and octopus along with many colorful reef fish. The experience was well worth the fee and the 3.5 hours was an appropriate duration.

5.00I had a snorkel tour with Capt. BK and John. It was excellent! The best snorkel tour I’ve done on St. Thomas. They were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. From the music and vibe to the history of the places we visited, I would highly recommend.

5.005 star experience with Captain BK & Sydney. They made sure our day was entertaining, safe and enjoyable. We picked up folks from St John and made our way to two different spots for snorkeling. Safety was always stressed and not once did we feel out of place or in danger. We saw turtles and rays up close and of course various fishes. We ended the day with fresh pizza made on the pizza boat which was very good. The group size was no more than 20 people but it never felt crowded. The vibe was great everyone was friendly and excited throughout the trip. There was an open bar after snorkeling was over which paired perfectly with pizza. I think tickets were $90/person but it’s a steal of a price for the experience we had. I would highly recommend this tour for first timers and anyone else traveling to St Thomas & St John.

5.00My husband and I really enjoyed the trip. CJ (the Captain) took us to two great places and Darien (the First Mate) went snorkeling with us and pointed out squid, octopus, sea turtles and spotted rays (I think that is what they were called). I had never seen a squid or an octopus so I was very happy. The ride out was smooth and comfortable. We also saw a sunken sailboat which is becoming a reef for the fish and we saw lots of fish! CJ and Darien ensured we had a fun and safe time. Hopefully, CJ will play you the “swimming” song if you book a tour with her. The song was a hoot!

5.00We had a great time with BK and John heading over to reefs at St Johns. Got to see colorful fish, eagle ray, sea turtle, nurse shark. Are they the most vibrant colorful reefs you imagine - no. But you don't need the Great Barrier Reef to get to see some cool fish and other sea life. They did a superb job of thoughtfully reviewing all sorts of safety rules. Been on tons of snorkeling trips in Florida, Caribbean, Belize, Cozumel, Keys...by far best/most responsible prep regarding safety and guidelines for a great experience. Also having him go out WITH IS and identify cool finds was a real help and have never had any guides do that before! Great job guys!! Would highly recommend and do again.

5.00This was a very enjoyable excursion! The three women who manage this are outstanding. They provide so much information and assistance. I was a little nervous as I haven't snorkeled in years, and they did a great job explaining everything. One of the leaders has a degree in oceanography, and she gets right in the water and signals the group when she finds interesting ocean life. I saw so many beautiful creatures, and it felt so safe. Snacks and refreshments were appreciated at the end.
