Dinner was available as soon as we were checked in and seated at our assigned table. The Navajo Taco and dessert were delicious. The show talked about the Navajo culture. We got to experience the Navajo drumming and dancing. Highly recommend the dinner and show when in Page.

We LOVED the experience we had at Red Heritage. I don't think you can ask for more and there is something for everyone. You start with choosing your dinner preferences, grabbing desert, and drinks which are an option of fountain or a basic cash bar. Once everyone is seated, the presentation starts with some education on the History of the Dine/Navajo and demonstrations of their weaving with songs and story telling. There is some humor mixed in to lighten the mood, then the dancers perform. The host explains the meanings and history of the dances and the dancers and drummers put on fantastic performances. The performers also do permit photos/videos which is a rare privilege. We were also invited to speak to anyone/everyone after and has some great one on one conversations. After the show, there were also some jewelry pieces for sale which I was happy about because they are made in that region with turquoise from the mine and other stone and shell from the region. You're even treated with performances by champion hoop dancers!

The food was very disappointing for the price. It’s self serve at the counter where they make your taco with very few choices (rice or fry bread with beef or chicken). The line was forever long and the people preparing the food were hurried. The food itself was bland and nothing special. As for the show, it started out slow and ended with dancing - which was the best part. The seating was uncomfortable and the venue is located in a strip mall next to a bar. It was average at best.

Entertaining and informative show combined with traditional fry bread taco dinner with beverage and desert made for a nice experience. Informative presentation and several traditional and pow pow related dances were preformed. Was perfect way to spend the evening especially when you consider the somewhat limited dining available in Page.

The show was part philosophy - being one with the earth, the importance of family, the fact that each person has four names – mother, father, paternal and maternal grandparents, each of which represents a certain clan - and part very accomplished dancing. I enjoyed the meal with huge portions of the “Navajo Taco” (with fried bread), a method apparently picked up by the Navajos when they were given provisions during their expulsion from their land. I asked one of the dancers whether these shows were held every night of the week - they apparently are - there's so much energy and enthusiasm in these shows, and at least some of the three male dancers also do the serving of the food. The dances were not all Navajo but from various tribes. One was about a sick girl who was healed by the group ; one was a warrior dance, demonstrating the lesson that one should never retreat; and two were ring dances: one was with the young woman and young man, and the finale was another ring dance, but this time with a man who has received various awards in intertribal competition and one of his students. All of the dancers wore outfits that showed real pride in their tribe. A truly memorable evening!
