As the largest park in Uganda, Murchison Falls has almost all of Africa's major mammals. It is a Lion conservation unit and has one of the largest populations of Roskilde Giraffes in Africa. The parks consist of vast savannah grasslands and also great forests like Budongo. Murchison Falls National Park is best known, though, for the most powerful waterfall in the world. Every second, the equivalent of 200 bathtubs full overflows from its gorge. There are various large mammals to be sighted such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and leopards. The park also boasts iconic birds, like the grey crowned crane and shoebill.
