Honestly the best tour ever! This should be the only tour you take. Matt is the absolute best. He knows everyone and every place to go. The info he provides on Sydney is more than you can ever ask for. So fun and informative. Seeing the Koala and Kangaroos was a bucket list adventure. The mystery tour stop is one I’ll talk about for years! Such a highlight for our time in Australia.

Amazing tour! Matt brought Australia to life for us. His knowledge of plants was incredible. He took us to so many special locations and we learned a great deal about the local flora and fauna. The wildlife sanctuary is not to be missed. Lunch was delicious with a great view of the beach. On to off it all was great conversation and stories. At the end of the day we felt like we had made a great friend and were sad the day was over.

What an amazing tour. We had so much fun on our private tour with Matt. We are big animal and nature lovers and we love to learn, so this was perfect. Matt had found so many hidden gems to see from local plants, birds, batts and reptiles, to experiences with Koalas, meerkats, and emus. The day never felt rushed, but we got to see all the animals and have the experiences we dreamed of. Matt is a stellar driver so we felt safe at all times, he's super collaborative on how to spend the time, and thoughtful beyond expectation to ensure we had great places to eat even with 2 vegans and 1 celiac. And to top it off, he's the kind of guy you can just relax with, get to know each other, and laugh a lot. It was an amazing day. Highly recommend. And he's an amazing photographer who spent the day taking pictures so we could just enjoy the time without the hassle of grabbing the phone.

Am AMAZING tour today with Matt. We love animals, plants, birds and culture and this tour was perfect for us. We had a flexible day and saw koalas, bats, emu, meerkats, kangaroos and many more. The lunch spot Matt picked out was perfect as we are vegan and John is celiac so we appreciated him finding a great spot. So many hidden gems each step of the way. His driving was superb and his friendly attitude just meshed with us. At the end of the night we felt like we met a new friend and would have had a great new buddy if we lived closer. Thanks for the great trip. Highly recommend.

Matt took my daughter (9) and I on an amazing tour of the Australian bush and coast line. We both had the time of our lives...the below review is provided unedited by my daughter: It was so fun! I got to pet a Koala, feed and pet Kangaroos!! He taught us so many tricks with plants and shared many stories (some of them were funny and all of them were entertaining). He played all of my favorite songs on the car ride back. Took me and my dad to an amazing cafe. The croissants were amazing! There were birds at the cafe. We went to two different beaches. He took us to a mystery stop, where we saw thousands of fruit bats (bats everywhere)!! We went to a chocolate store. Overall it was the BEST day of my ENTIRE LIFE!! Anyway... 5 stars I would do more if I could. Storytime: So he picks us up and says "Oh by the way not to freak you out, there is a large, non-venomous Huntsman spider in the car. I have no idea how it got in here." So I open the car door and it's right there. I'm freaking out as he's trying to grab it. It's so fast he can't catch it so it crawled under MY seat. So I'm in the car going bananas afor a 15-minute drive with my feet off the floor. There it comes crawling out again, then crawled under the seat in front of me! The whole day when we were in that car I had my feet off the floor. But at the end my mind wasn't going so bananas and I had both my feet on the floor in the car for the last hour. When me and my dad got back to our hotel Matt sent my dad an Email that when he filled his tank of gas for the car the spider was on his pant leg!! LOL!! Now it is something funny and true Australian to look back at. So for future guests do not worry there is no spider in the car :)

We had the BEST day with Matt! He picked us up right on time from our Airbnb, and from the moment we met him, his big personality let us know we were in for a great adventure. Our first stop was a beautiful national park where he guided us on an amazing hike, pointing out local wildlife and plants along the way. His knowledge of nature is incredible, and he explained everything in such an engaging way. He was also very flexible and accommodating, especially since we had our 13-year-old daughter with us, suggesting activities that worked perfectly for all of us while still giving us great options and directions. Next, we got to see kangaroos and koalas — one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Matt also took us to a fantastic restaurant for lunch and later a charming café for a snack. Throughout the day, he showed us different neighborhoods of Sydney, several beaches, and breathtaking views. At one point, he even launched his drone so we could spot whales out in the ocean! To top it all off, the day ended with champagne and chocolate — such a thoughtful and memorable touch. If you’re coming to Sydney and want to see the real Australia — from nature to beaches to local gems — book with Matt. He truly knows his stuff, and we never would’ve experienced half of what we did without him. Highly recommend! Book now! PS. He takes professional pictures of your adventure and sends them to you!

From the moment Matt picked us up, we knew we were in great hands. He has an engaging personality and a wealth of knowledge about Australia’s bushland, wildlife, and history. What made this tour truly special was how personalized it was to our interests and desires. We were able to see and connect with native animals up close, enjoy stunning coastal views while watching surfers, and gain meaningful insight into Aboriginal history and art. At our request, we took a two-hour horseback ride through gorgeous landscapes, then capped the day with a stop at a charming winery that makes fruit and flower wines. In just one day, we felt like we experienced so many facets of Australia—from nature to culture to adventure—all tailored just for us. We couldn’t have been happier and strongly recommend Matt and this unforgettable tour.

If you have the chance to add this private tour to your Sydney trip—don’t hesitate. Run, don’t walk, and sign up now! It was absolutely AMAZING. Because it’s a private tour, our guide Sam picked us up right from our hotel in a spotless, comfortable SUV. She greeted us in the lobby with the warmest smile, and from that very moment the day was off to a perfect start. We were laughing (thanks, Matt!) from the beginning and never stopped. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard and so often in a single day—and that had everything to do with the wonderful connection we built with Sam. She was an absolute joy to spend the day with. Sam took us on gorgeous nature walks, always keeping an eye out for wildlife and pointing out plants, animals, and hidden details along the way. Every stop offered something special, and the views were picture-perfect. The highlight, without question, was the sanctuary. Getting such an up-close and personal experience with the animals was unforgettable. Petting and feeding the kangaroos, interacting with wombats and emus, holding a possum, watching Waffles the pig do tricks for Sam, meeting Sandy the “hairdresser” bat, seeing the sleeping Tasmanian devils, and of course, spending time with Dobbie the koala—whose hilarious reactions to scratches completely stole the show. Every animal was clearly loved and cared for, and it made the whole experience even more meaningful. There were so many little moments throughout the day that I can’t even begin to list them all, but each one made the tour even more special. This experience exceeded every expectation and was worth every penny. I can’t recommend this tour enough—100% a must-do. Thank you, Sam, for the experience of a lifetime, and thank you, Matt, for creating this tour for us to enjoy.
