Embark on a sampan and witness the vibrant trading activities of Cairang Floating Market, the largest floating market in Vietnam. Goods exchanged include fresh fruits and vegetables, such as pineapples and mangos. Experience a unique breakfast, ordering from floating restaurants and cafes -a perfect combination to start your day.
We will then cruise into the jungle through small, yet complex canal systems. This landscape provides a glimpse into typical river life along the Mekong Delta. Our boat will also be stopped at a four-decade old noodle village and we will participate in the making of rice noodles the traditional way.
Then, we will get on the car and drive for an hour. We cruise into the meandering canals of Lung Ngoc Hoang Nature Reserve, which is surrounded by water hyacinth and water lettuce covering the surface. This allows you to fully immerse yourself in the forest's enchanting atmosphere while observing the varied flora and fauna that thrive within its bounds.

We will then move into the jungle through small, yet complex canal systems, which provide a serene home to diverse flora and fauna. Allow yourself time to relax and meditate on this tranquil part of the trip. This landscape provides a glimpse into typical river life along the Mekong Delta. We will also explore a four-decade old noodle village and participate in the making of rice noodles the traditional way. We will continue our journey with a stroll through villages in the local community. You will be welcomed with warmth and generosity, trying fruit, such as jackfruit, dragon fruit and star apple in villagers’ gardens.

5.00On our first day, we were taken by taxi to a waterway where we boarded a boat that took us to see a floating fish farm. There were many species of fish, and we were able to feed many of them - very exciting! We also sat with our legs in the water and enjoyed a gentle fish massage. We walked around a beautiful farm with many types of fruit trees, and were able to sample some of them. We finished with a tasty fish hotpot! The next day, we visited a busy open market and saw many types of fruit, vegetables, and seafood. We then got on a boat and went out on the water, and stopped at a number of boats that were part of the floating market. We had some wonderful coffee and fruit juices, and were served an excellent fish noodle soup for breakfast. Afterwards, we went to a nature reserve and went for another tour of the waterways in a small boat. We were able to view rice fields and Ruby answered all of our questions. Finally, we finished with a delicious lunch. All transfers were included, and we felt very well cared for. Ruby also took lots of pictures of our group and forwarded them to us at the end.

5.00We felt very comfortable from the beginning. Our tour guide Mai was very warm, friendly but also very knowledgeable and answered all our questions, both about Vietnamese culture and beautiful nature. The tour has been recommended to us by acquaintances and we can only warmly recommend it.

5.00We had a really great tour to explore the Mekong Delta with Ruby, our guide who gave us exciting insights into the culture of Vietnam. The tour over the Floating Market Cang Rai was really great with some stops to try something delicious to drink and food as well as interesting information about the history and overtime change of the market and people living on the river. We will totally remember it as one of the highlights of our Vietnam journey because it was so special. Besides all the exciting things we saw like the production of rice noodles or the birds in the nature parc, we always had great conversations with Ruby which we could ask all our questions about Vietnamese culture and the background of the region to learn more about our current destination. It was much fun and we can totally recommend the tour! See you hopefully in Germany, Ruby! :)

5.00This tour exceeded all our expectations. The floating market experience, peaceful canals and the visit to the nature reserve were all incredibly well planned and executed. Everything felt seamless and professional. Our guide, Mai, truly made the difference. Her English was excellent and easy to understand, which allowed for great conversations and questions. She has a strong background in local nature and environment, and her explanations were both informative and fascinating. She shared many stories that gave us a genuine insight into daily life in the Delta. Thanks to her, this felt like a journey with a local friend, not a standard tourist tour. Mai also took lots of great photos of us during the trip, so we could fully enjoy the moment without worrying about capturing everything ourselves I would recommend this tour without hesitation.

5.00We had an excellent day with Thuy as our guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable & fun! We went to the floating market for coffee & breakfast, then made noodles & rice paper before heading to the nature reserve where we also had lunch. Everything was very interesting & well organised.
