What To Expect
Negombo
We will start with a 30-minute site seeing ride just outside the city. We'll pass the Negombo Grand Mosque and visit Angurukaramulla Iconic Buddhist Temple. Later we'll cross Colombo road and drive through the Main Street to enter the Negombo Town. then we will tour the town to discover the street markets. This is our opportunity to feel the the town vibes of Negombo AKA the little Rome.
We will explore the cultural stretch of the Sea Street; You will drive along the Dutch Canal to enter the Sea Street. There are few prominent Roman Catholic churches and Hindu shrines along the sea street and a community that speaks mostly Tamil . We can also visit the Hindu shrine. Sea street is full of life! The temple flower stalls and fruit tables with temple coconuts are very unique.

5.00I was picked up on time and warmly welcomed. During the four-hour tour, I saw the whole city, including many churches and both Buddhist and Hindu temples. The absolute highlight was the fish market, especially the area where the fish are dried, the entire process was explained in detail, which was incredibly interesting. The time flew by! My driver, Fernando was very friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. A great, fun, and informative tour, definitely recommended!

5.00I had a lovely half day tuk tuk tour of Negombo. Robin my tour guide took me around in his tuk tuk to all the sites, gave lots of interesting fast and information on the places we visited. Also made some stops along the way to take some help photos. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone to anyone staying in Negombo.

5.00We arrived two days early for a 2-week organized tour of Sri Lanka. We booked the Negombo City Tour by Tuk Tuk tour on Viator as an introduction to Sri Lanka. We were not disappointed. Our guide, Robin picked us up at our hotel. He was on schedule and provided many interesting facts about the churches, temples and markets that we visited. we had a fun-filled 4 hour tour before being dropped off at our hotel door. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00We really enjoyed our tuk tuk tour of Negombo! Our driver Robin was an excellent guide was very knowledgeable,friendly and gave us a better understanding of the local Sri Lanka area. Stopping off at a local shop for a delicious masala chai was definitely a highlight! 😁

5.00I would highly recommend this tour, we were extremely lucky to have Robin as our guide. We were in the best, cleanest & flashest tuk tuk. At every stop people were admiring & taking photos. Robin went above & beyond to endure our experience was memorable. His English was fluent and knowledge extensive. He gave us lots of great tips re dining, sunsets & beaches. A great day
